People travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. For me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.

When I use my feet and walk on a grass covered path along a river or among the hills I feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. And when I travel on foot I get more freedom. I can plan my own schedule. I can choose my own route. I can stop where I like. And I can see things and people that I might miss if I travel on a train or on a bus.

[我的梦想 My Dream英语作文

我在通往梦想的路上走着，走着……

这条路很黑，我看不见一切。这条路很冷，我不停颤抖。每一步都那么艰难。身上不知被什么东西划满了口子，好痛，好痛，但这痛只属于我，别人都不知道。

我迷茫了，找不到方向，我站在原地，心很孤独，身上全是被什么东西划伤的口子，我知道一个口子代表一次失败。眼睛好胀，我知道泪水快流下来了，我又把它逼了我去，我说过：“在追梦的路上，不能有泪。”我祈祷谁能帮我照亮前方的路……

我望着天空，我看不见一切，风狠狠的刮着……突然，天边有东西亮了，是流星。我睁大眼睛。这是我好久没看见的光，它是我的启明灯吗?我来不及欣赏那美丽的流星，忙看了我的前方……

“啊……不………”我撕心裂肺的叫了一声，双膝一软，跪在了地上。我看清了，借着这流星的光看清了，我的前方是与天交接的荆刺，那么高，那么密。在在身后看不见我来时的脚印，只是一片与天交接的荆刺。我抚摩着我身上被荆刺划伤的口子，泪水终于流下来了。一滴，一滴。滴落在脚上的伤口上，这就是伤口上摸盐吧……

“进不了了，回不去了我被荆刺包围了……”我语无伦次的说着。原来我走了这么久，竟是在一片荆刺里穿梭。我不敢动了，上帝是不是对我太不公平了，为什么会是这样……

流星来了，又走了。我跪下了，又站起来了。不为别的。只是不甘心。我付出的不比别人少。我要向上帝宣战，凭什么我的追梦道路那么难……

每走一步，我在心里默念一句“我在追梦的路上，期盼来的流星为我照亮了一片荆刺……”“失败后的泪水不过是在伤口上摸盐，会让我更痛……”

我一个人在追梦的路上走着，走着……

《老人与海》中的老在海上孤独地同鲨鱼搏斗最终却只拖回了鱼骨。也许有人会说老人的行动很傻，得不偿失但我却认为老人是最聪明的，他懂得去追求梦想。

人的一生中充满了梦想。小时候是想有一个洋娃娃，再大一点是想考试得高分，再大一些想有一份好工作……人的一生就是在逐梦中度过的。梦想既是人生的目标，又是人实现这个目标的源源不断的动力。

梦想无好坏大小高低贵之分，它只是人们心中的一颗星，在天闪闪发光，指引你前进的方向。

马丁·路德·金有一个梦想，实现所有人种之间的平等相处。正因为他有了这个梦想并且去追求它，实现它。他的功绩因此而伟大，他的人生因此而辉煌，他的名字因此而不朽。

人的一生短暂而平凡，能够成为伟人的屈指可数。大多数人在人类进程中只不过一颗流星，转瞬即逝。因此，有人感叹“人生苦短”。但我要说人生短暂是对的，人活在世上很辛苦也是对的，但是感叹“人生苦短”我就有不同看法了。正因为时光飞逝，所以我们更要珍惜，同老人一样，与鲨鱼搏斗看似辛苦，可是在这段日子里，与成群的鲨鱼斗智斗勇，其中的欢乐与思索，沉静与兴奋，都是任何事物无可比拟的。所以有人说“做一件事，结果带来的喜悦，与过程中带来的喜悦是无法比拟的。”我想，人生也是如此吧!
