可当我才看见大海的一瞬间，我失望了，心情一下子变的沉重了。因为我眼前的大海是灰暗的，是浑浊的，是没有生气的，是没有自信的。有的只是自卑。我知道大海原来不是这样的，而是被人们污染成这样的。

现在，人类为了生活，大量砍伐树木，砍了又不栽，以前有多少热带雨林，现在是平地，以前多少树木，现在取而代之的是高楼大厦。工厂排放的废气，污染空气，又没有树木放出新鲜的空气。还有工厂排放出的有毒的废水，让水里的小鱼，小虾都被毒死了，河面上浮着发臭的鱼的尸体和垃圾，这一切又是多么的可怕呀！

让我们去拥抱大自然吧！去保护大自然吧！让世界上的一切都变得美好。

从古代到今天，自然灾害就有发生，但是从这几年来看，自然灾害的发生愈发频繁。例如：1976年7月28日唐山发生7.8级地震，2008年5月12日汶川发生8。0级地震等等。在这些自然灾害中，多少人家破人亡，无家可归，死伤人数在不断地增加，损失的经济又是多么的庞大……从这些破坏中，我不禁想问问，是什么令到自然灾害频繁发生？

只是因为大自然的自然运转吗？

答案是不，自然灾害频繁发生大部分是因人类的肆意破坏而造成的。由此可知，人类频繁的，不合理的利用自然，是导致自然频繁发生的主要原因。

人类滥砍滥伐森林；肆意排放废水，废渣，废气；石油、媒、天然气的燃烧加剧了温室效应等等。从表面看，这些都是为了人类方便而实施的，但本质却是伤害地球、伤害人类自己的一种行为。这些行为没有遵循地球的负载力，严重破坏自然。如果人类在砍伐森林后，及时地更种回树木，这样不就不会减少树木的多样性了吗？如果人类在排放“三废”之前，把它处理后再排放，这样大气污染有这么严重吗？所以，保护自然，应该从实际出发。

2008年的汶川大地震的破坏力相当大，人们又在怨天尤人。可是，我们为何不想想灾害发生前为什么一点迹象也没有公布呢？看到繁华的城市一日之间变成废墟，看到多少人民在哭诉着，多少人民在拼命地挖掘，想要找寻到自己的亲人……

我们要提高个人科学素质，多观察自然，使人们更加了解灾害来临前的预兆，全世界的人民应该要齐心合力保护我们的家园。没有地球，就没有人类。

面对自然灾害，我们并不是无能为力的，我们可以作出相对的自然对策，那么我们的世界会更加和平和幸福了。

The classmates, save our earth! You should immediately take action, starts from the minor matter, starts from now, start from the care for the campus environment. We picked up a piece of paper, a drop of water, we save, a heap of rubbish, we clean the, we love a tree seedlings, a frog, a blade of grass, plant a tree, the environmental protection as own duty, use own practical action to protect the environment, to create a green campus.

保护环境，早在“不涸泽有鱼，不焚林而猎”的古训。在今天，我们更应懂得保护环境就是保护我们自己，我们不仅合理利用资源，更竭心尽力保护环境，让环境永葆青春，永远为我们人类的生存发展服务，作为学生，现在主要是创建绿色校园。

得有段时间，校园里果皮纸屑随处可见，忘关掉的水龙头哗哗地流着……楼道间，就更不用说了，大家是有亲身体验的，扫完后，转身就会发现地面已被有些人点缀成另一番景象，这些事情常让我吊怀远古，这些情况常让我警言今日，校园就是个小社会，同学们在有管理制度的校园中都不能做到爱护环境，走出校园，进入社会这一大环境，又能怎样呢?那就更不敢设想了。

同学们，救救咱们的地球吧!大家应立即行动起来，从小事做起，从现在做起，从爱护校园环境做起。一片纸，我们捡起，一滴水，我们节约，一堆垃圾，我们打扫，我们爱一棵苗，保一只蛙，种一根草，栽一棵树，把保护环境作为自己应尽的义务，用自己的实际行动保护环境，创建绿色校园。

金山银山，不如绿水青山。我镇开展“爱护环境，美化家园”为主题的环境卫生整洁行动以来，镇村环境卫生面貌持续改善，群众卫生意识明显提升，创造干净、整洁、舒适、优美的镇域环境，既是全镇人民的强烈愿望，更是全面推进我镇城乡一体化中心镇建设的现实要求。为此，我们向全镇人民倡议：

一、养成良好的卫生习惯。请您自觉打扫门前屋后卫生，确保门前屋后干净整洁，无裸露白色垃圾，无污水;公路两旁不堆放放柴草物料，做到不乱倒垃圾，不要将垃圾倒入河道、沟渠、水塘;请不要将禽畜粪便直接排入水域，人人自觉养成讲卫生、爱整洁的习惯。

二、落实垃圾分类减量“五字方针”。卖—卖掉废纸、塑料、玻璃瓶和金属等可回收的废品。埋—建筑垃圾、卫生间废纸、纸巾、碎玻璃片、煤灰等难以回收的废弃物进行填埋处理。烧—烧掉废弃衣服、书包、枯枝败叶等可燃废物。沤—将剩菜剩饭、骨头、动物内脏、菜根菜叶、果皮等食品类废物，经生物技术就地处理堆肥。收—废电池、废水银温度计、农药瓶(袋)等有毒有害物质需要特殊安全处理的废品由废品回收站统一回收。

三、开展卫生评比活动。请您积极参加环境卫生互相评比活动，自觉担当宣传员和监督员。各小组分别评出最清洁、清洁和整改户，对“最清洁”户通报表扬，典型宣传;对“脏乱差”户劝导批评，帮助整改，拒不整改的将在镇村环境卫生公示栏内曝光。

四、环卫保洁实行有偿服务。根据垃圾处理“谁污染谁付费”的原则，请您按照各村(社区)自治公约的要求，自觉缴纳环境卫生费，并配合保洁员搞好环卫工作。

五、积极参加大扫除活动。每月25日为我镇环境卫生大扫除日，请您积极参与全镇大扫除活动，各部门单位、学校、企业等要积极组织卫生清扫，党员、组长要带头示范，形成人人参与，个个出力的良好氛围。

Nature has provided us with many kinds of resources。 Al most everything we use in our everyday life comes from Nature。 The food we eat， the water we drink， the clothes we wear， the concrete and bricks to build our houses， the materi als to make bikes we ride， etc， all come originally from Nature。

People have been XXX use of these natural supplies for thousands of years。 With the development of technology and the increase of the population， the amount and range of mate rials taken has increased。 It is estimated that this tread will continue in the years to come。

当人类诞生的时候 ，就想与大自然和谐地生活，一起欢乐的生活。随着人类的逐步进化，人们的生活逐渐地进入了工业化生活，什么和谐生态早已忘却了。说要保护好野生动物，却严重污染了环境……说好的呢?却已忘却。醒醒吧!人类啊!

那光秃秃的山，从现在开始植树;那餐桌上的野味，从现在开始禁止食用;那污染的环境，从现在起开始保护……

人口的迅猛增长，环境污染和人类对生物资源的过度利用等，导致地球上动植物的自然栖息地被大量破坏，大量物种的生存受到严重威胁。我国的近在眼3万种高等植物中，至少有3000种生存受到威胁或濒临绝灭。为了让更多的物种生存，人类啊，醒醒吧!不要再滥砍滥伐了。一时的诱惑蒙蔽了双眼，却不知还有更大的灾难因此而逼进，赶快醒过来吧，重建绿色家园，现在还有一丝希望，不要放弃这一丝希望，种出绿色的未来，现在开始播种。再继续破坏下去，人类和动物将再也无法生存，保护森林就是在保护我们自己的生态家园。

虽人们常说，动物是人类的朋友。可人类就是这么对待自己的朋友的吗?捕捉它们，食用它们，杀害它们，又破坏了它们的家园……其实，人类真的很残忍。动物原本与人一样，无忧远虑地生活在同一片蓝天下，但后来人类因为某种利益，开始大量捕杀野生动物。许多野生动物因此绝种或濒临灭绝。动物是人类在这个生态环境中唯一的好朋友，它们和人一样，是一群可爱的生灵，人类怎么忍心杀害它们呢?人类只是被利益充昏了头，人们啊，振作吧!不要图利益而杀害自己的好朋友，行动起来，保护好小动物们!

在这个硕大的生态环境中，人类控制着这里的一切。人们的一举一动，都将影响这个生态环境中的事物。现在，这个环境在日益地恶化着。这是人类和所有生物唯一的生态环境，人类就当是在造福生灵，行动起来吧，保护环境，不要再让这个惨局恶化下去，现在补救是唯一的办法，为了生态环境而努力吧!

The simplest water pollution definition would be any contamination of water bodies with some pollutant(s) that changes physical,biological,and chemical conditions of any body of water making this water harmful for environment and surrounding ecosystems.

Water pollution occurs once too much pollutants (mostly in form of different waste) are discharged directly or indirectly into water bodies.Water pollution does not only cause great environmental damage but is also the leading worldwide cause of deaths and diseases responsible for the deaths of more than 14,000 people each day,mostly in developing countries.

Many people are not aware that water pollution is serious problem in almost all parts of the world,and not just in third world countries like some choose to believe.In fact many experts will tell you that reality is completely different than the common belief,and that actually water pollution problem is already out of control.

Water pollution problem is in most cases connected with the careless handling of chemical agents,toxins introduced into our water through industrial dumping,and farm runoff.All these factors make our water unsafe to drink.

说到保护大自然，肯定有一些人会说：“保护大自然有谁不会呀!”你可别小看了这五个字，说起来容易，做起来可就难了，你要不信那看看下面的故事吧!

在拉丁美洲的巴拉那条河上有一条世界著名的塞特凯斯大瀑布。它曾经是世界上流量最大的瀑布，每秒有一万立方米的水从几十米的高处飞流直下，水声阵耳欲聋，据说在30公里外瀑布的巨响还清晰可闻。20世纪80年代初，伊泰普水电站截住了大量的河水，使瀑布水量逐年减少。1986年8月下旬大瀑布消失了!

怎么样，以前是流量最大的瀑布，而现在却消失了，有谁会相信啊!我们现在不光要保护环境，也要保护动物，你看我们的国家有好多都是国家一级保护动物，现在动物越来越少了，可人们的饭量越来越大，很多的动物都死了，人们吃了它们，我想每一个动物死之前它一定很难过，会想：人类怎么那么可恶，非想吃我们呢，有的可能人们破坏了环境，动物们没有地方住，没有了吃的，就死了。
