There is no denying that people can get a lot benefits from reading classics. On the one hand, it is a good way for readers to broaden their horizon and increase their knowledge in many aspects. For instance, they can learn the society characters by reading classic literature novels about history or culture. For one thing, people are distracted by other things increasingly, which can give their more joy and fun and have no requirement in thinking, such as all kinds of entertainment activities. 有一回，我在超市买东西，偶然地看到了一个外国人，因为在那之前我从未看到过外国人，所以对她很好奇。金黄色的长发，棕色的眼睛，高挺的鼻子，简直是深深地迷住了我。我那时就一直看着她，当然，我知道这样是很不礼貌的，可是我就是对她充满了好奇心。我很想走过去和她说几句话，可是我又不敢。后来，她好像注意到了我，对我笑了一笑。她这一笑简直是让我欣喜若狂，在那一刻，我就下定决心一定要学好英语，一定要能和外国人流利地交谈。

从此我就经常去找英语老师，向老师了解一些关于外国和英语有关的事。

现在初中了，我还是对英语有浓厚的兴趣。黄老师很亲切，每次看到她，就像是看到老熟人一样。我很喜欢上她的课，有时我都巴不得一整天都上英语课。英语课很轻松，几乎都是洋溢着笑声的。黄老师还能说一口流利的英文，可以完全听懂老外的话，也可以流利地和老外交流，这一点，我特别羡慕黄老师。她是我的偶像，是我的榜样，我要像她看齐（虽然她是我的老师）。

班上很多人觉得我上英语课和外教可很激动，确实，我承认，但这也是我喜欢英语的一种方式。我对英语有一种莫名的喜欢，看到老外，我就像是吃了兴奋一样，就算原本不高兴也会变得很高兴。

上外教课时，我会很认真地听讲，虽然有很多听不懂，老外抽问时，我也都会积极地举手发言，哪怕是回答不了。我也不会觉得丢脸，因为我站起来回答问题，也是给自己的一次锻炼机会，同时也和老外多接触了一次，所以，哪怕是回答不了问题，我也是很开心的。

这个暑假我去看了上海的世博会，我在世博园里大开了眼界，里面有好多的外国人。每看到外国人我都会主动上去邀请他们和我一起拍照。刚开始和老外交流时，我有些害怕，怕自己说不好英语，但是那些热情的外国人个给予了我勇气，让我敢于大声发出邀请，“Can you teke photos with me？”（你能和我一起拍照吗？）当然，在和外国人交涉的时候我也碰过壁，那是在地铁站里，我看到一个外国人，我很开心地看来他一眼，可他却皱着眉头，用不标准的普通话说“不要看我。”这句话让当时的我很是尴尬，因为我从未碰到过这种状况，这次的事，让我注意起对待老外的应有礼节，但这并不影响我对英语的热爱。

I took my school report and came back home cautiously only to find mother wasnt at home. She went to my aunts and wou!d come back in the evcning. I knew that fiom a note on the table. I was still a little bit frightened as if mother would come back suddenly.

Seeing the low marks on the school report and remcmbering mothers cold face, I almost trembled with fear. lf mother know I got so low marks oa the subjects, especially English, she would tear all my cartoon books which are my fovourite. I have been treating them as my own life for a long time. But mother always thought cartoon diverted my attention from study and had a bad effect on me. Frankly speaking, I had realized it. Mother hated those books. She had warned me if I got low marks once more she would get rid of them. I Still wanted to keep those books even if I would mever touch them from then on. What should I do? I knew that any persuation was in vain. I would prevent mother from doing that.

A good idea stroke me. I gathered all the books and put them in a box. Then, I hid the box under my bed. Having done it carefully, I had a breathing spell.

There lots of people in my IELTS class and most of them came from India. The reason why they want to attent this course is similar to me. Right now, I feel exhausted and dont want to work, but I still have lots homework to do.

I also have some other problem. Last term, I decided to start my new term in Newcastle, and asked Jhon to give my money back. And now, I have changed my mind, so told Jhon I did not want my fees back, but she told me the check had been sent out for almost two weeks. I havent received my check until now, and I told her the truth. Finally, she said she would help me to ask finaNcial officer to give me another letter, and then after I sign that form everything will be all right. What a absurd world it is. If I had not asked Jhon to give my fees back, it would have become much easier.

If my boy sleep quietly, he will see the busy bee, when it has made its honey fine, dancing in the bright sunshine. If my boy will slumber, angles without number will draw near, so fair and bright, for they only come at night.

Now, some of us students like buying a lot of snacks. They eat a lot even if they were not hungry. If they don’t like the food, or they can’t eat up the food, they will throw it away.

It is really a bad thing. We have wasted lot of food. And at the same time, it is bad for the students’ health.

So boys and girls, let’s change our habit. When we have dinners in restaurants, don’t order too much food. And try to eat up all the food we ordered. If we can’t eat up all of them, just pack them and bring them back home to eat. Please give up the snacks between meals. Encourage your classmates and parents to join us. If you find somebody is throwing away food, just stop them.

Today, I saw an very interesting movie. The story was about a boy met a girl who lived next to him since he was very small. The girl was so active and the boy was very shy.
