中国是一个严重缺水的国家。人均淡水量只有2200立方米，仅为世界平均水平的四分之一，全国的600个城市当中，有三分之二的城市都严重缺水，中国是13个严重缺水的国家之一。这些严肃的数字令人触目惊心。

有人说过：“如果把全球所有的水比作一碗水的话，那么淡水的总量只有一勺，而能利用的淡水只有一滴，这一滴水还被不同程度的污染了。”我们国家的水资源污染严重，各式各样的工厂把各种各样的污水排入河中。从此，一条条小河变成了不毛之地。鱼儿全部死亡，虾儿了无踪影。我的外婆家后面就有一条小河。河水清澈见底，潺潺的流动着，鱼儿优哉游哉的游来游去，但这一美丽的景象早已成为了永远的记忆。河边建了一座偌大的工厂，“突突突!”不断地把污水吐进小河里，河水变成了黑色。一条小河有如此沧海桑田的变化，实在让人震惊!

污染是人类的一大“秉性”，与之相提并论的还有浪费。张三很有音乐天赋，洗手时把水流开得大大的，“哗啦啦，哗啦啦”随着水流的伴奏，张三还哼着小调呢!殊不知不经意间浪费了多少水呀，痛心啊!李四是“高端、大气、上档次”，洗过菜的水明明是清凌凌的，却被他毫不悭吝地“哗”的一声倒掉了……

你浪费一点，他浪费一点，日久天长，积少成多。我们麻木地浪费着水，难道不知道这每一滴水都如金子般宝贵?其实水资源有时是可以重复利用的：洗过菜的水可以用来浇花，洗过衣服的水可以用来冲厕所等等，能做到这一点的人却寥寥无几!

水，这个令人惭愧的字眼，当它辛辛苦苦地养育人类时，人类却用污染、浪费来报答它!杜绝污染水资源，节约用水，让我们从现在做起吧!

水为万物之源，万物之本，人们生活的时时刻刻都离不开水，正是因为有了水，人类才会生存，世界万物才会有生气，有生机!

地球上的水资源似乎取之不尽，其实目前人类的使用情况来看，只有淡水才是主要水资源，才能被人们使用，淡水原本是一种可以不断再生的资源，其再生性取决于地球的水循环，可是随着工作的发展和人口的增长，大量水资源被污染;有的国家为抽取河水在上游建水坝，改变了水流情况，使水资源遭到严重的影响，就拿中国来说吧!中国水资源总量居全世界第六位，但人均量却是全球的四分之一，也被称为全世界十三个贫水国之一。

从目前来看，水资源污染主要有两种：一种是自然污染，另一种是人为污染!水污染主要根据污染杂质的不同而导致!水多，水少，水脏，水浑，如珠江三角到处都是水，可是却不能饮用，我国淮河流域也不多，在上海一一个水乡水网的地区，一平方公里的河道长度都是8——10公里，这么高的水份密度，而如今却因为工业、农业和生活弃物排倒于水中，导致本身紧缺的水更加稀少了。

在我们国家里，有有三分之一的城市供水不足，每日缺水可达到600万立方米，就拿广东省来说吧!目前在农村有几十万的人和几千万牲畜饮水困难，在城市也有三分之一的人饮水不干净，如果我们可以树立起节约用水的意识，随手关紧水笼头的话，一年一个家庭就可以节约几百吨水，相信这笔宝贵的财富可以重新回来。

因而，作为一名中国小学生，我们更加应该积极地参与到珍惜水资源的行动中来，在生活中节约每一滴水!一旦人们都意识到水资源的重要性，地球上的水资源危机就可能解除!
