太阳悄悄从山嘴处爬出来，张望着山脚下的一片村庄——我的家乡大王镇。它位于灵宝市最东边，毗邻陕县。记忆里最深刻的的就是家乡的那条乡间小路。

这条乡间小路穿梭于许多村庄和田间，农民们收种都要经过此路，三轮车、架子车、摩托车、自行车等，每天都川流不息，路面被碾得高低不平，坑坑洼洼。正所谓“晴天一身土，雨天一身泥”，要是遇到下雨天可就惨了，大水坑连着小水坑，小水坑挨着大水坑。只要稍不留神，无论是车还是行人都会滑个人仰马翻。

记得上小学时，有一次连着下了几天雨，我和妈妈走在这条路上，我们俩弯着腰，努力想寻找一块能落脚的地儿，尽管如履薄冰，可一不留神，哧溜一声，妈妈滑倒了，我也被拉倒了。我们手按着地，慢慢站起来，没走几步又滑倒了，再走，再滑倒……到家时我们俩已经成了泥人，我大哭，妈妈脸上不知是雨水，还是泪水也在往下下淌。真是行路难，路难行，难怪这条路被村民们叫“哧溜路”。

道路两旁的绿化带是一排排挺拔的树，叫做女贞，叫做松树；还有开满鲜花的树，叫做满身富贵，串串红，观赏桃。花开时节，深的，浅的鲜花连成了一条丝带，轻盈地在微风中抖动，像少女的长发在微微飘动，诗般地诱惑着青春的红心。远远望去，是云，是烟，还是霞……快道两旁高大的绿化松后面是星星点点的农家小楼。有农家乐，宾馆，超市，每天都人山人海，熙熙攘攘。好一派“千里莺啼绿映红，水村山郭酒旗风”的美丽景色。

走在乡间的“小路”上，感受着家乡变化，花美，路美，人更美；今天的家乡，又怎一个美字了得？！相信不久的将来，我们的家乡一定会走出自己的致富之路！

but it has not always been like that. in the old days, it was a sad dirty little town. landlords and merchants lived in the few good houses. for the working people there were only dark, unhealthy rooms in old buildings and huts in narrow muddy streets. nearly everyone was poor and many had no work.

everything has changed since liberation. the people, led by the party, have got rid of the mud and dirt. they have put up schools, theaters, shops and flats. they have an assembly hall and a hospital. along the river they have built offices, hotels and parks. a lot of factories have sprung up. on the river, streamers and boats come and go busily, day and night. they carry the products of our industries to all parts of the country.

i love my hometown, and i love its people. they also have changed. healthy and happy, they are going all out to build socialism.

一提到我的家乡荆州，真是无人不知，无人不晓。家乡的河水清澈见底，天空湛蓝深远，空气清新甜润。每到春天古城外的花儿全开了，姹紫嫣红。人们在那里高兴地散步，呼吸着新鲜甜润的空气，小朋友在游玩。这时的景色是多么美呀！引来了不少的中外游客。

回首以往，护城河的水脏兮兮的，还有很多的死鱼浮在水面上，水面上漂浮着各种各样的垃圾。汽车的尾气越来越大，空气严重污染了，树木也变得越来越少了，来东门游玩的人也越来越少了。垃圾拥有一片乐土——街道，任意呆在每一个角落，有时还迎着风翩翩起舞，甚至在水里游泳，让人看了就想躲，真脏啊！现在呢，垃圾有了自己的归宿——垃圾箱。街道整洁了，铺上了泥青路，成了一个耀眼的亮点，净啊！水晶般闪耀的家乡！

家乡在不断的变化，在我心中家乡如妙龄少女，越变越好看，我从心眼里热爱我的家乡！

几年前，我去外地工作了。今年，我终于迎来了我期待已久的一个月的假期。我可以回家乡——芒市，去看一看了。不看不知道，一看吓一跳！芒市居然发生了如此大的变化！

一只小鸟在我头顶叽叽喳喳地叫着，似乎是来迎接我似的。穿过大桥，放眼一看，曾经浑浊不堪、全是垃圾的芒市大河居然如此干净了，就像一位化过淡妆的小姑娘。一群群鱼虾在清澈见底的河水里快活地游来游去。我简直不可思议，怎么会如此美了？大河两旁的田坝简直就是花的海洋。一道金光在我眼前闪烁。一朵朵向日葵正笑眯眯地迎我微笑呢！那又大又宽的叶子像芭蕉扇一样，如果用它扇风，那一定凉快极了。我的小脚丫被眼前的美景勾住了……

从沉醉中醒来，才发现，河的另一边全是规划有序的各种小店，小吃店、照相馆、图书馆，应有尽有。我走进小吃店，要了一碗纯纯的酸牛肉米线。光嗅那一股味道，我就流口水了。米线一上，哈，真好吃！原来他们家的米线早已上德宏美食了。

好不容易回来一趟，走进照相馆拍张照，留个纪念。哟，一道背景墙从天而降，工作人员似乎看出了我的惊讶，微笑着告诉我：“高科技！”两分钟，照片出来了，就像P过图一样。伴着夕阳的余晖，我走进最后一站——图书馆，天哪，怎么一本书也没有呢，原来这是电子图书馆呀！家乡的发展真是快呀！

啊，家乡的变化真大呀！我爱家乡的一草一木，爱家乡的山山水水，更爱建设家乡的劳动人民。

Ah! Christmas morning! Children like to wake up early while its still dark and sneak(蹑手蹑脚) into the living room to check the presentsfind any with their names on it, shake them to guess whats inside, and then maybe theyll go back to bed and pretend they are still asleep when their parents come to wake them with a Merry Christmas!

But almost no one I know gets completely dressed or eats a regular breakfast on Christmas morning. They just put on robes(长袍) or wear their pajamas(睡衣) and go to see whats under the Christmas tree. Some Christian families have a tradition of reading the Bible story of Jesus birth. Maybe its to remind(提醒) the children that Christmas is Jesus birthday.

Someone will begin to take the presents out from under the tree, see whose name is on the package, and then pass them around. Some families wait until all the presents have been given out before opening any of them, while others open each one as it comes to them. There are many thank you to the ones who gave the gifts. New clothes are tried on to see if they are fit, and of course the most interesting toys will immediately be played with.

Usually among the Christmas gifts will be some especially delicious candy or cake or cookies which everyone tastes. These sweet things may be the only breakfast many people eat on Christmas morning. After the gifts have been opened, the room will be tidied up except where the children are playing with their toys. Everyone will wash and get dressed for the day.
