我用手捧着它，希罕的不得了。它全身热乎乎的，眼睛还未睁开，嘴里只是默默地叫着“哇呜……”，它有四只细细的小腿，带了四只肥肥的爪子，真是可爱极了。

它还很小，又不在妈妈身边，还不会自己吃奶，于是爸爸给它买了一个专用奶瓶。喂奶的任务当然是我的了，我拿过奶瓶，往里放了适量的奶粉，然后加了些温开水，慢慢的摇晃，见奶粉化开后，抱过小狗，把奶嘴轻轻的送入它的口中，它似乎饿急了，嘴虽然很小，却大口大口的往里吸，全身都在使劲，但是它不太会用奶嘴，喝一口往外流一滴，我只好把奶瓶竖起来，这样它就没办法吐了，渐渐地它学会了吃奶。

我每天都按时喂它，还给它弄了一个小窝，里面有一张“床”——一个小纸盒，和一张“被子”——一块小毛巾，它应该感觉很温暖，慢慢的适应了这里，就不再那么频繁的叫了。但让我唯一讨厌的是，它的屎尿太多，弄的它的窝到处都是黑黑的，害的我每天都要给它收拾。

记得那是最让我伤心的一天。那天放学后，我像往常一样去看它，可是它在窝里一动不动，我觉得很奇怪，它平时除了睡觉都是爬来爬去，一点也不安静，难道它现在病了?睡着了?一连串问号在我眼前浮过。不对，睡着的时候，肚子是一动一动的，今天却…我感觉不对，赶紧叫来了妈妈，妈妈俯下身看了看失望的说：“它死了，把它处理掉吧”。我真不敢相信自己的耳朵，我既伤心又难过，望着它蜷缩着的身体，眼泪“吧嗒吧嗒”滴了下来。

我不忍心随便把它处理了，难道动物的生命就那么不值钱吗?它们的生命也是很珍贵的。于是我找了一个僻静地方，挖了个坑，把它埋在里面，并且做了一个记号“小狗贝贝埋于此地”，然后，依依不舍地离开。

Three days ago we decided to visit the Great Wall.

Today we met at the bus stop early in the morning. When we were on the bus, we saw a lot of new buildings and new shops.Beijing was taller than before, I thought.

It took us about two hours to get to the Great Wall. When the Great Wall appeared in front of us, we couldn , t help thinking how wonderful it is! I wondered how the people in the past built it without modem machines. It is said you can see it from the space.I was proud of it.

Now, I am sixth grade student. After ten years later, I will be a college

I understand your well-respected college offers a number of places to overseas students every year, and I am writing to enquire about the application procedure.

I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. In addition to these subjects, "Use of English" is also a compulsory subject because a pass in English is a minimum requirement for admission to most faculties of the University of Hong Kong.

During the 15 days from New Year’s Eve to Lantern Festival, Beijing was

affected by smog for more than half the time, because of which people suffered a

lot. On the road people drove slowly because they could not see clearly. People

also suffered from many illnesses caused by smog.

The smog in Beijing has been caused by many factors, in which the increase

of cars in the city area plays an important role. The carssend off a lot of

poisonous gases, which in turn adds to the already seriousair pollution.

In my opinion, the number of cars should be limited.We should call on the

people to use more public transport. Only in this way canwe expect to have more

sunny days.

I always feel tired after eight classes a day, so my dream school starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. There are three lessons in the morning and two in the afternoon. We can choose our favorite lessons to learn. We can spend more time doing some outside reading. The students do after-school activities for one and a half hours every day. We needn’t do a lot of homework. We are all happy to stay at school.
