水是生命之源。人可以几天不进食，但不可以几天不喝水。而现在，全球20亿人正处于缺水状况。这给人类的生存带来了危机，也给人类敲响了警钟。

据英国《卫报》在2月15日报道，虽然地球70%的表面积是水，然而只有3%是淡水资源。其中，仅有1%的淡水是人类可以利用的，其余的大部分要么冰冻在地球的极地地区，要么深藏在地下，难以开采。水资源的危机带来的生态系统和生物多样性破坏。

今天，我和同学一起到河边调查水资源。

来到了汇头这条小河，眼前的景象使我吓了一跳：乌黑的河面上漂着五颜六色的垃圾，纸片、瓶子、菜叶、木头等。还有完好无损的萝卜，巨大无比的床板，半新旧的鞋子，这些东西可都是有用的，人们这是怎么了?突然，我看到河岸边有很多的淤泥，真是臭不可闻。幸好还没到夏天，不然这气味可以把我们熏晕!我们的母亲河怎么被糟蹋成这样了呢?

顺着弯弯曲曲的小河，我们来到了外河。看到这里的河水比较清，但还是有点垃圾。这时候，我看到一位老爷爷在河边洗衣服，于是就问：“老爷爷，你洗过衣服还要用水冲吗?”老爷爷说：“当然要冲了，这水不仅脏，还有细菌!”

老爷爷的话让我们陷入了沉思：河水污染这么严重，难道人们没有采取措施吗?突然，我发现有几个阿公在打捞淤泥。只见一船船乌黑的，粘乎乎的淤泥从河底捞上来，怪不得河水会静止不动呢!我还从一个老奶奶口中知道：这淤泥已经打捞了十几天了。

人们的劳动没有白费。只见原本呆滞不前的河水又欢快地流动着，河面上的漂浮物不见了，河旁还种了一排排小树苗呢!

我一边为河水高兴，一边为它担心：光靠几个人的力量是不可能搞干净的，得全市人民一起行动，才能建设美好的家园。

最近我听说中国的北方又发生了旱情。据农业部发布的消息说：全国作物受旱面积达1.46亿亩。全国43%左右的冬小麦遭受旱灾。有398万人、195万头大牲畜因干旱而发生饮水困难。从网上我们也看到了那些干枯的河流，原本绿油油的冬小麦很多已成了干草，平整的麦田也变成了一张久经风霜的老人脸，田里布满了纵横交错的皱纹，看到这些画面确实使人感到十分震惊!

那么是什么原因造成了北方干旱呢?直接原因是因为有些地方有100多天没下雨、雪了，是天气造成的干旱缺水。由此可见，出国留学网水与人们的关系是多么重要啊!我们知道：水是人类赖以生存和发展的重要资源之一，是不可缺少、不可替代的特殊资源，没有水就没有生命，也就没有文明的进步。
