看完这本书后，我的心情久久不能平静，文中主人公的年龄和我一样大，可是，和他相比，我们的生活是多么的幸福，但是我们却还是不满足，遇到一点小小的困难，就放弃，缺少意志力。我要学习奥利弗尔的坚强品质，克服一切艰难险阻，珍惜现在的一切，刻苦学习，成为一个对社会有用的人。

虽是“心向往之”的海底世界，可是这里也危险重重。其中便有一个船员因尼摩艇长的一次复仇行动而丢了性命，那是“我”第一次见到尼摩艇长的眼泪，他在为这个船员的牺牲而默哀，心中悲痛，留下了泪水!鹦鹉螺号上，没有卑微的船员，有的只是情深的伙伴!那些在航海途中死去的人，都长眠在了珊瑚地下。正如书中所说，“海洋上并不只有表面的美丽，更有危机重重。”

其中，令我感动的一个情节便是“鹦鹉螺”号撞上了连绵不绝的冰山，千钧一发，万分危机时，大家都同仇敌忾，万众一心，带着储气瓶下海来凿冰山，每个人都感到呼吸困难，似乎看到了死神的爪子扑过来，可是，尽管大汗淋漓，大家都咬着牙撑了下来，一批一批的人下到了海中，顶着巨大的压力和煎熬苦干，丝毫不放弃生的希望。这种精神令人感动。

书的最后我给我们来了一个扑朔迷离却又显得十分凄美的结尾，鹦鹉螺号在一次斗争中卷入了一个大漩涡，除了“我”与两位伙伴逃出生天，其余人皆生死未卜。那个沉着冷静、坚韧不拔的复仇者——尼摩艇长也杳无音信，他最终是离了人世，还是活着?都无从可知。

很多人都会这样评价尼摩艇长，说他是一个不折不扣的复仇者，丧心病狂，令人害怕。可是我却觉得这样的看法未免太一叶障目。尼摩艇长是有错，可是，他也是有自己的立场，他是一位沉着智慧的号船长，是有着侠肝义胆的反殖民地主义者!当我读到尼摩艇长——这样一个顶天立地的大男人，跪在一幅女子遗像前痛哭流涕的场面时，我不能不为之动容。尼摩艇长的身上始终有着令人敬佩的品质：善良，坚韧，沉着，淡泊，处险不惊、有情有义……

Thoughts or reflections on reading Wuthering Heights

Wuthering Heights was written by Emily Bronte, it published in 1847.But at that time, it seemed to hold little promise, selling very poorly and receiving only a few mixed reviews. I found this in our school library, I chose this book because the title attracted me. Wuthering Heights is structured around two parallel love stories, the first half of the novel centering on the love between Catherine and Heathcliff, while the less dramatic second half features the developing love between young Catherine and Hareton. In contrast to the first, the latter tale ends happily, restoring peace and order to Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange. In the story, the two houses, Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange, represent opposing worlds and values.

I spent twenty days reading this book. After reading this book, I felt for Heathcliff at first. Heathcliff begins his life as a homeless orphan on the streets of Liverpool, and then he tyrannized by Hindley Earnshaw. But he becomes a villain when he acquires power and returns to Wuthering Heights with money and the trappings of a gentleman. His malevolence proves so great and long—lasting. As he himself points out, his abuse of Isabella—his wife is purely sadistic, as he amuses himself by seeing how much abuse she can take and still come cringing back for more.

Catherine represents wild nature, in both her high, lively spirits and her occasional cruelty. She loves Heathcliff so intensely that she claims they are the same person. However, her actions are driven in part by her social ambitions, which initially are awakened during her first stay at the Lintons, and which eventually compel her to marry Edgar. Catherine is free—spirited, beautiful, spoiled, and often arrogant, she is given to fits of temper, and she is torn between her both of the men who love her. The location of her coffin symbolizes the conflict that tears apart her short life. She is buried in a corner of the Kirkyard. In contrast to Catherine, Isabella Linton—Catherine’s sister—in—law represents culture and civilization, both in her refinement and in her weakness. Ultimately, she ruins her life by falling in love with Heathcliff. He never returns her feelings and treats her as a meretool in his quest for revenge on the Linton family.

Just as Isabella Linton serves as Catherine’s foil, Edgar Linton serves as Heathcliff’s. Edgar grows into a tender, constant, but cowardly man. He is almost the ideal gentleman. However, this full assortment of gentlemanly characteristics, along with his civilized virtues, proves useless in Edgar’s clashes with his foil. He sees his wife obviously in love with another man but unable to do anything to rectify the situation. Heathcliff, who gains power over his wife, sister , and daughter.

The whole story make people’s mood heavy. Fortunately, the end is happy.

The author Emily Bronte lived an eccentric, closely guarded life. She was born in 1818, two years after Charlotte—the author of Jane Eyre and a year and a half before her sister Anne, who also became an author. Her father worked as a church rector, and her aunt, who raised the Bronte children after their mother died, was deeply religious. Emily Bronte did not take to her aunt’s Christian fervor, the character of Joseph, a caricature of an evangelical, may have been inspired by her aunt’s religiosity. The Brontes lived in Haworth, a Yorkshire village in the midst of the moors. These wild, desolate expanses—later the setting of Wuthering Heights—made up the Brontes daily environment, and Emily lived among them her entire life. She died in 1848, at the age of thirty.

I like this book because it rest on the unforgettable characters. Wuthering Heights is based partly on the Gothic tradition, a style of literature that featured supernatural encounters, crumbling ruins, moonless nights, and grotesque imagery, seeking to create effects of mystery and fear. I would like to recommend this book to other readers.

The author pays homage to Hans Christian Andersens compassionate tale with this faithful adaptation. Kids can relate to the ducklings dilemma; part of the growing-up process is pulling away from those around you and developing a strong sense of self. Children have also witnessed or experienced the teasing that is part and parcel of childhood.

This ageless story speaks across generations with its reaffirming message. In this age of instant gratification, Andersens tale reminds readers that some things are worth waiting for and that a pleasure deferred (whether by choice or necessity) is often the sweetest one of all.

Pinkneys descriptive passages resonate with the splendor of natures beauty. The glowing watercolors, filled with intricate details, make each blade of grass visible, and the delicately drawn, nearly transparent mosquitoes are as ethereal as they are in life. The subtle details incorporated into the scenes--a frog catching a passing fly at the pond and a tiny mouse perched by a crate in the old womans cottage--make children take another look.

One day he heard a sound of whirring wings, and up in the air he saw a flock of birds flying high. They were as bright as the snow that had fallen during the night, and their long necks were stretched southward. Oh, if only he could go with them! But what sort of companion could he be to those beautiful beings?

I am too ugly even for a dog to eat, the duckling thought. Jerry Pinkneys poignant text and rich artwork convey the timeless appeal of this tale of hardship and redemption. 书中都包含了大量的科学，文化和地理，地质学。阿龙纳斯在航行中流露出他对尼摩船长出类拔萃的才华与学识的钦佩。 但他又在道德方面他又希望但愿洁净海水能够冲刷尼摩船长的内心使得他以一位学者的身份继续进行和平的海底工作!

这本书让我们在阅读的过程中大开眼界，深深激发了我们热爱科学，勇于探险的可贵精神!

这本书的精妙之处还在于完全自然的知识启迪，虽然书中讲述了不少有关海洋的知识，例如红海一名是源于海中的一种名叫三棱藻的微小生物分泌的黏液造成海水颜色像血一样红。但是没有任何一个在读者接受起来十分刻意或困难的，只是一次旅行中的所见所闻罢了，这使人们对因景而生的各种想法和收获都得以牢固的保存。

并不是每一本科幻小说都像《海底两万里》一样富有强烈的可读性，它作为一本不是凭空捏造而是远见加博学累积成的小说，不但为对海底知识了解不详尽的读者解读了他们的旅程，更让后人看到了古人的智慧与文明。

今天，我阅读了法国著名作家、科幻小说之父儒勒·凡尔纳的科幻巨作《海底两万里》，它使我明白了一个道理：顽强探索，就是成功之源。此外，这本书还使我了解了太平洋、印度洋、红海、地中海，大西洋以及南极和北冰洋，丰富了我的地理知识。

本书讲述了这样一个故事：阿龙纳斯教授听了许多船只被“海怪”龚击的事件，他打算和助手康塞尔一起去寻找“海怪”，他们登上了美国战舰，却无意地爬在了“海怪”身上。所谓的“海怪”其实是一个潜水艇，它叫“鹦鹉螺”号，船长尼摩和教授他们成了朋友，却不放过他们，不把他们送往陆地，并在特殊情况下囚禁他们。但教授和他的伙伴环游各大洋，经历了种种磨难。从林肯号美国战舰消失到发现“鹦鹉螺号”;从初识船长到海底森林狩猎;从托雷海峡到搁浅事故遇上巴布亚土着人;从珊瑚墓地到海底隧道;从珍珠养殖场到维戈湾海底宝藏;从海底煤矿到南极探险;从勇斗鲨鱼到血战章鱼;从海洋风暴到海底复仇……最后，教授和同伴在逃离时遇上大漩涡，除了教授和他的同伴外，“鹦鹉号”与船上的成员都消失在海洋里，教授他们却重返大陆。

本部小说既是一部惊险的小说，又是一部关于海洋的百科全书，书中描写的情节引人入胜。此外小说将尼摩船长等人物塑造得栩栩如生，尼摩船长探索海洋，勤思好问的精神值得我们学习。

生活中，学习中我们遇到问题也要勤思好问，只有端正了这个态度，困难也就迎刃而解了。

海洋，是一个令人心生神秘的世界，是个令人充满幻想的地方。海洋占地球的百分之七十点八，怪不得地球被称为“水球”呢!因此蓝色的海洋成为人们梦寐以求的蔚蓝王国，今天就让我们一起跟着“鹦鹉螺”号，去探索发现，去看看她这隐藏在深处的美丽吧!

《海底两万里》是被称为“现代科学幻想之父”的儒勒凡尔纳所著的小说，“鹦鹉螺”号其实是他虚构出来的一艘潜艇，虽然是虚构的，全书却给人一种真实的感受，文章写了鹦鹉螺号在印度洋、太平洋、红海、地中海、大西洋、北冰洋及许多海底冒险，遇见了许多珍奇的海洋动植物;当然还有一些惊险刺激的情节，去南极点探索珊瑚王国和去海洋森林散步，捕杀巨大的儒艮和凶猛的章鱼群，从字里行间，可以知道，儒勒的想象力超人，竟能在潜艇没有发明之前想象出潜艇的构造，不得不让人佩服。他充分地把科学与故事情节融合，创在出一个神秘的深海世界。

海底中有无穷无尽的奥秘，作者的世界可能与现实的海底世界无法如出一辙，但小说是要唤醒人们对海洋世界的保护意识，不能随心所欲地污染海洋世界，永葆他的洁净与蔚蓝。并谴责那些污染海洋，随意捕杀动物的人们，是他们让海洋失去绚丽多彩。呼吁人们要善待海洋生灵，让蔚蓝清澈的海洋不要成为后代美丽的幻想。

同学们，当我读完这本书，爱护海洋水资源、珍惜海洋生物这个念头在我心头久久回荡，让我们行动起来吧!用我们的行动，用我们的呼唤，让美丽的海洋世界永葆她青春的容颜吧!

打开《海底两万里》，我怀着好奇心，和书中的主人公探险者博物学家阿龙纳斯一起乘坐着鹦鹉螺号潜水艇开始了充满传奇色彩的海底之旅。《海底两万里》这是作者凡尔纳的一篇巨著。讲述的是法国生物学家阿龙纳斯教授在深海旅行的故事。故事的起因是发生在1866年的一件闹得满城风雨的怪事。当时不少航行船只都在海上发现了一个大“海怪”，并有船只遭到了他的袭击。在公众的呼吁下，美国派遣了一艘战舰对“海怪”进行追逐。阿龙纳斯教授接受了邀请，参加了这次追逐行动，结果，追逐“海怪”的战舰反被“海怪”追逐，并遭到’海怪”的猛烈袭击。阿龙纳斯教授和他的两位同伴不幸落水，被“海怪”所救，此后便跟随“海怪”周游四海，在海底航行了两万里，探索海底秘密，经历了种种艰辛和风险，最后，他们因不堪海底世界过于沉闷的生活，设法逃走，返回了陆地。

鹦鹉螺号虽然是他虚构出来的一辆潜水艇，但文章中的植物，动物，却又能带给人那么真实的感受。带着我们一起周游了太平洋、印度洋、红海、地中海、大西洋以及南极和北冰洋，让我们见识了许多罕见海底动植物，还有海底洞穴、暗道和遗址等等。从文章的字里行间中，我们都能真真实实的感受到凡尔纳丰富的想象力。在潜艇未发明之前想象出潜艇的构造，电灯未问世前预料到未来生活，充分把科学与故事情节相结合，创造出一个充满奥秘的深海世界。

没有梦想，没有理想，是不行的。但梦想也不代表着空想，需要实际行动来实现。没有做不到，只有想不到，不怕失败，只怕没有承受失败的能力。只有梦想，加上行动，才会有进步，才会成功。但在引人入胜的故事中，还同时告诫人们在看到科学技术造福人类的同时，防止被坏人利用、危害人类自身;提出要爱护海豹、鲸等海洋生物，谴责滥杀滥捕的观念。这些至今仍然是热门的环保话题，早已在两百年前就有先知者呼吁，可见留下有关人类正义更深层次的思考，才是此书让读者感受丰富多采的历险和涉取传神知识后，启发我们以心灵更大的收获——环保已刻不容缓!!!

《山丘上的约会》这个故事中最奇妙的部分，在于两们“笔友”彼此间从未见过面，单单只靠书信文字所产生的美好想象来塑造彼此的形象，而且在无形中不断地增强彼此的美好印象。相信很多人都有这样的经验：只听到某人或某篇文章的形容，就对没见过的人、事、物产生好奇，进而想象，总是越想越美好。

《山丘上的约会》故事最精彩的部分在于两个素未谋面的人终于决定要见面了，让人紧张心跳的也正是这一刻，两人都从对方最高的期望出发，结局如何呢？作者采用了卡通化的造型，夸张地强化了故事中两个主角的差异，不论在身高或体态上都不同。很戏剧化的是，正当玲玲抬头猛往高处寻找将会从天而降的偶像时，男主角瓜瓜也正奋力地跳上山丘去赴约呢！作者运用书本竖立时的直式版面，营造出男女主角见面时的“震憾”画面，令人拍案叫绝！故事中的主角虽然都是田墅里常见的动物，但两者的外形、习性截然不同，所以见面的过程充满了曲折、趣味。孩子在阅读时因为是旁观者，一定会觉得他们好笑，从而在轻松的气氛中理解故事的发展进程。

哇！会面的结果真是令人有些失望，书信中的印象明明不是这样的埃当满怀期盼，终于可以一睹真面目时，才发现事实和想象差了一大截。这是一个有趣又常会发生的事情。其实呢，“人生不如意事十常八九”，生活中经常会有许多的遗憾和委屈。正因为如此我们常常很努力地去避免这样的事情发生，让一切都如意顺心。结果期望越高往往失望越大，以至迷失了对事物本质的认识，我们就越来越不快乐了。试问朋友的真正意义是什么？不就是无邪的友谊分享吗，至于表面的东西也就不值得计较了。

因为人生很少能够真正地心想事成，所以我们会寄望于故事最后的美好结局，至少希望它是正面的、光明的。笔者很欣赏本书的结局。当玲玲和瓜瓜确信彼此的真正友谊存在时，决定继续山丘上的约会，再为彼此美好的友谊努力下去。真好，友谊可以不用猜疑和负担，只要彼此接纳和分享，或许这正是现代人该好好想想的课题。
