As part of my career planning, I am very interested in supplementing my international business education with a basic knowledge of the Chinese language. I already have information from BLCU and hope to study there for at least one full year starting with this summers program continuing through the fall and spring semester 2006. Can your office advise me if such scholarships might be available to me?

Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. 李琦——我的英语老师。初次之见，李老师的音容笑貌，宛如一支烧得滚烫发红的烙铁，便深深地印上我的心头。

爽朗洒脱的性格，朗朗有力的嗓音和永远严肃的瞳仁中，却不乏一丝母性的慈爱；微挺的鼻梁上，架着一副红框眼镜，圆圆的秀气脸庞，中等微胖的身材，在初次见面就掷地冰寒，说话丝毫不留情。俗话说得好，严师出高徒。虽然我不是那么喜欢这种方式，也不那么提倡，可是我十分欣赏这种传统的教学方式，这样同学们也会将注意力更加集中在课堂的学习上，也让课上喜欢开小差的同学闻风丧胆，从而使学习提高并且还有良好的自觉性。

听说李老师在艺术上也颇有见解，曾领导过学校的英语合唱团参加过许多大大小小的比赛，并且取得优异成绩。而且Mrs.李在教师圈中也具有魅力的人气，是位平易近人的老师，

在往后的日子里，我要再接再厉学习英语，因为我是那么地尊敬我的英语老师——Mrs.李。

今天是农历八月十五，是中国的传统佳节之——中秋节。

中秋节又叫做团圆节，这一天月亮会特别的大，会特别的圆，就好像是一只巨大的月饼。人们欢聚一堂，喜滋滋地吃着团圆饭。许多中国人还喜欢在饭后和家人一起到户外赏月、吃月饼。那景致，那氛围是非常融洽和温馨的。

晚上，我们一家也在阳台上吃饭赏月。妈妈为今晚的中秋盛宴忙碌了一下午。烤鸭、螃蟹、牛排等等……望着那一桌丰盛的美味佳肴，我的脑海里浮现出了奶奶为我做的年夜饭，那金黄色香嫩可口的卤鸭，香浓四溢，色泽诱人，食之满口生香、外酥里嫩、不肥不腻。还有雪白鲜嫩的鱼丸，水润白嫩、口感爽滑、入口即化……每当我回到爷爷奶奶家，奶奶总是一遍又一遍的变着花样做我喜欢吃的菜给我吃。

妈妈大声喊：“吃饭了!”才把我从白日梦里叫醒。我回过神，夹起一块烤鸭就放到了嘴里，真是美味啊!我又吃了一块，感觉越吃越想吃。我们一家三口团圆坐在一起，有说有笑的……

计划赶不上变化，月亮一直不敢露脸。我们全家都非常着急。到了7：00左右，在云层当中隐隐约约露出了一个圆圆的小脑袋，“月亮出来了!”爸爸妈妈高兴地呼喊。此时的我痴痴地仰望着月亮，仿佛正看着我那和蔼可亲的爷爷奶奶：我的奶奶已经年过七旬了，满头半黑半白的头发，额头上有一道道深深的皱纹，它记录着岁月的沧桑。奶奶虽然年龄很大，但身子还是很硬朗，天天忙里忙外，总不闲着。还有喜欢我的爷爷，他的头发白了一大片，脸上布满粗细相间的皱纹，可他就像一个老顽童，总是找机会逗我玩，整天嘻嘻哈哈的。

今天，我做了一个试验，就是怎样才能让鸡蛋从2米高的地方摔下去不会摔碎?我想了4种办法，其中，有2种办法行得通！！下面，来看看我做试验的过程吧!我先实行了第一种办法：把鸡蛋用餐巾纸裹上4层，然后，用胶带固定好，再量好高度，从2米高的地方把鸡蛋摔下去，结果，鸡蛋被摔得稀巴烂！唉......第一种办法失败了，还浪费了一个鸡蛋，可怜的鸡蛋啊！

吸取了第一次的教训，我开始实形第二种办法：把鸡蛋用餐巾纸裹上12层，再用棉花在鸡蛋上裹上12层，然后，用超级粗胶带把鸡蛋固定好，再次量好高度，把鸡蛋从2米高的地方摔下去，这次当我把鸡蛋拿起来的时候，拆开外面的棉花和餐巾纸，发现鸡蛋完好无损，没有一处破裂的口子，连划痕都没有！！我又开始高兴了，有点儿得意忘形了。坐在沙发上，一个人傻笑。

笑着笑着，我又想试试第三种办法：把鸡蛋裹上12层棉花，放在一个塞满棉花的纸盒子里，再一次量好高度，再一次把鸡蛋从2米高的地方摔下去，当这个纸盒子落到半空的时候，我的心怦怦直跳，怕这个纸盒子，两头突然打开，鸡蛋从里面掉了下来，那可就糟糕透顶了，因为，我没有固定好鸡蛋，鸡蛋一旦摔下来，肯定粉碎。但结果不是我想象的那样，纸盒子稳稳当当的落在了地上，我迫不及待的打开了纸盒子，拨开棉花，我看见了一个鸡蛋“宝宝”，正安心的躺在里面睡觉，可爱极了！！两次试验连续成功，我便断定下一次，也肯定能成功，便不那么认真了，开始有些疏忽了。

第四种办法就是：把鸡蛋裹进塑料泡沫里，从2米高的地方摔下去，只听“咔擦”一声，我猜，是鸡蛋碎了的声音，我打开塑料泡沫一看，哦，可怜的鸡蛋“宝宝”碎了，都怪我一时大意，才又浪费了一个鸡蛋，唉......我做了4次，只成功了2次，因为有点儿大意了，以后要多多改进才是啊！

I believe everybody has their own hobby. Different people have different

hobbies. For me, my hobby is music. I like music very much. It is magical for

me. It gives me the sense of happiness. It can make me happy when I am sad. I

will listen to music every day. I listen to it on my way home and school, before

寒假过去了，新的学期又来了，为了让我下一个学期有一个好的目标并向目标努力，下学期的生活更加充实，我决定制作一个新学期打算。

先来说说我的学习态度吧！我对学习态度一直就不太好，有什么作业让可做可不做的时候，我总是第一反映就是，不要做了。后来想想才决定了。所以我决定改掉这个不好的态度，让下学期的我一听到写另外的作业不再有不想写的念头，而是第一感觉是要多写作业，改正自己对学习的不良态度，好好的为小升初打好基础。

我的学习习惯有一点不好，就是晚上吃晚饭之后写作业，不主动，需要家长去催，才能去写作业。而不是吃完饭后自己自觉的去写作业，或干自己该干的事情。而且就算刚到那里写的速度也不快，慢慢腾腾进入不到学习的状态。不是马上进入状态，马上高效率的写作业。所以我决定，在下学期养成吃完饭后立刻写作业并且马上进入状态的好的学习习惯。

我的学习能力非常好，但是有两块小石头一直阻挡着我的去路。第一块小石头叫马虎石。它经常出现在数学上，有时候看错数，有时候把关键字看错，又有时干脆直接把算式抄错。语文上的它也很猖狂经常让我在写错字绊倒。第二块石头叫作文愁，因为我写作文比较慢的缘故，所以写作文就成了我练熬夜的秘籍，我经常被他熬得困得很第二天起不来。我为了不让这两块石头再成为我的绊脚石，所以我决定下学期改正这两个坏习惯。让他们不再猖狂。

下学期我一定要改正这个坏的态度，养成好的习惯，制服这两块绊脚石。请大家为我加油吧！

小花的爸爸在苗族小山村里教书，很少回家。有一次，小花问爸爸：“你为什么不调回城里教书，那样我们一家就能天天在一起了。”“苗族村还比较落后，那里的人们最需要知识。为苗族小朋友传授知识，我觉得很有意义，我要坚持一直做下去。”爸爸认真地说道。小花说：“放了假我一定要去看一看。”

第二天早上，小花来到老奶奶家，老人不在家。小花想：“明天我就要回去了，我应该像爸爸一样，为老奶奶做点什么。”于是小花立即行动起来，帮老奶奶家打扫卫生。这时小花发现老奶奶有一盆衣服没洗，床上的被单也有些脏。小花搞完卫生，又把老奶奶的衣服和被单端到村前的小溪边洗了起来。在小花洗完后回来晾被单的时候，老奶奶回来了。看到眼前的情景，老奶奶紧紧搂着小花，激动地说：“你们一家都是好人，像亲人一样对待我！”小花笑着说：“我们就是一家人！”
