“愣子”像是睡着了一样，脑袋瘫在马路上，眼睛闭得死死的，半张开的嘴里隐约可见暗淡的舌头；两只前爪都伸直了，一只后腿被四奶奶拖着，一步一步的往竹林边走去。

我上前去问才知道，愣子并不是睡着了，它太累了，太老了。

我不再去说话，但眼睛直直的望着四奶奶与愣子的背影，愣子的身体与地上的沙石摩擦的声音，一直徘徊在我的耳边。直到他们转过那个泥石板路，便渐渐隐入了竹林。一时间，思绪万千，心中就像大海一样，波涛汹涌，始终无法平静下来。

为一只狗伤心是没有必要的，哪怕是愣子，但是，我心中中有一种说不出的感觉。

愣子是老家四奶奶家养的一只狗，全身棕毛，与其他狗比起来，算不上与众不同，但倒也不让人厌烦。起初似乎是为了防贼才养的它，但它性情温顺，自然担负不了这份重任。自我懂事起，便认识了他，但是那时的我是很胆小的，就算是像愣子这样的狗也能使我吓坏，但由于四奶奶与我们家的交情挺好，常来我们家玩耍，而愣子自然也就毕恭毕敬的跟在她身后。每逢这时，我便赶紧躲上阁楼，从窗子中盯着它，。然而有一次，一个多雾夏夜，月亮掩起了脸蛋，悄悄的躲了起来。四奶奶又来和奶奶聊起了天，愣子紧随其后，我躲上阁楼，看起电视。没过多久，我往窗外一开，朦胧之中，似有一双眼睛正盯着我，我好奇地探出身子，一刹那，庭院中的灯突然打开，光，爆炸似的覆盖住了整个庭院，与此同时，我的眼直盯盯的看到了它的眼，哟！多美的眼！顿时，我觉得它也并非是这么的遥不可及，它的眼中似乎放射着光彩！不过，现在想起来，那只不过是一个无精打采的棕褐色眼睛罢了，当初我为何要这样想，自己也说不清，奇怪的是，自那以后，我便常常与它静静的对视，有时五六秒，有时几分钟，也不知是不是这样的对视造就了我以前的内向，总之，这样我们便在一次次的对视中熟识了。

相对同村的“小白”与其他不知名的小狗而言，我，乃至爷爷与奶奶，我们最喜欢的还是愣子，还是说不上最喜欢，只是看着不那么厌烦罢了，并没有什么特殊的感情，而在它弥留之际我为何有些伤感，自己也说不清楚。听四奶奶说过：“愣子是只好狗，平时只吃点米饭，从不挑食，只可惜......”的确如此，一个普通的生命，普通的死去，他普通的一生，有没有做出什么不普通的奉献？

我家养了许多宠物：有害羞的小猫，有胆小的乌龟，有毛茸茸的小鸡......但是我最喜欢我家的小狗。

它浑身黑不溜秋的，远远看去像一团巨大的毛绒。摸上去感觉十分光滑柔软。它的眼睛总是瞪得大大的，看上去水汪汪的，像两颗耀眼的黑宝石。它的嗅觉十分灵敏，每闻到什么奇怪的味道，就会趴在地上嗅来嗅去，寻找气味的来源。它的耳朵耷拉着，竖起来的时候像兔子的耳朵。它的尾巴也和兔子很像，有时候你真会把它当成一个大绒团。

它很顽皮。有一次，我们吃过晚饭，正在看电视，突然，不知从哪儿钻出来一个“小强盗”，飞快地向大米堆奔去。眼看就快要到了，突然，一只爪子捉住了它，把它拎起来。原来是我家的小狗捉住了这个“小强盗”。小狗把它放开，又捉住，放开，又捉住，重复了几遍之后，觉得无聊，便把它扔到了门外。

这就是我家的小狗，一只顽皮的小狗。
