立足"三小"就会从小到大

走进发明创造的王国

获得一项成功的小发明创造并不难，它同在发明比起来，往往要容易得多，因为这些小发明 创造选择的课题比较广泛，比较简单，所解决的问题比较单一。为此，发明创造要瞄准小目 标，随时注意发生在身边的小问题，把自己的发明念头和创造性解决问题的方法体现为小设 计。只要立足于“三小”，就会从小到大走进发明创造的王国。把小目标、小问题和小设计 三者相互联系起来，小目标是发明创造的方向，小问题是发明创造的对象，小设计是发明创造的措施，立足于“三小”就会有所发明创造。

小发明有四个特点

当然，发明创造不论它的成果大小，首先要了解小发明的特点。只有了解小发明的特点，在 进行发明创造时才有可能少走弯路，才有可能获得成功。那么，小发明具有什么特点呢?小发明具有四个特点：首先，小发明是首创前所未有的事物和方法，这是最主要的特点，而不是重复制造原来已有的东西;其次，小发明的特点是“小”，小发明的课题往往是同学们在日常学习、生活和劳动中能够经常接触到的事物，而不是去搞那此高深、尖端、难以办到的科研项目;再次，小发明是在自然科学范畴里的发明创造，而不是在社会科学领域;第四，小发明要具有实用性，搞小发明的目的是为了能够应用，而不是为了陈列和摆样子，只有同时具备以上这四人特点，才能算得上是小发明。

小发明创造不论它的成果大小，都是利于人类生活，有益于社会进步的新生事物。能不能成 为发明创造，发明创造的水平怎样，主要看它的新颖性、先进性和实用性“三性”的程度如何。新颖性指的是前所未有，或不同于旧的事物;先进性指的是与同类事物相比，在某一方 面或某些方面，甚至全面进步的事物;实用性指的是能够被人们理解、接受、，并且能制造 制造、使用或应用的事物。在整个发明创造活动中，力求达到新颖性、先进性和实用性，是发明创造追求的目标。

世界上没有完美无缺的事物，因此，任何事物都是人们革新改革的对象。那么，同学们应该 从哪些事物着手进行发明创造呢?笔者在多年指导学生发明创造的实践表明，着手点就是在 家常做的事和常用的物，这就是劳动工具、学习文具和生活用具等“三具”。我们接触的劳动工具很多，各种劳动工具在使用过程中，多多少少总有不得心应手之处。如笔者已介绍的 指导学生发明《巧添普通油印机计页功能》，就是瞄准老师们在油印资料、试卷时，一边印 ，一边一张一张地数，很容易把数字弄错而发明的。同学们每天都要在学习中使用各种文具 ，而难道都能使你用起来满意，而没有什么不便之处是吗?如指导学生发明《圆珠笔改成钢 笔》，是在原有的基础上稍加改造而完成的;人们日常生活中的各种用具五花八门，大家天 天都在同各种日用品打交道，使用起来可能觉得不便或功能单一。如指导学和妻明《巧改普 通暗锁为安全锁》、《巧改电子音乐报时钟》、《巧改电风扇定时器》等，正是针对这些不 足的改进而取得的发明创造成果。劳动工具、学习文具和生活用具都是我们进行发明创造的 广阔天地。而这些就在我们每个人的身边，你只有心创造、留心观察、用心思考，总有一天会做出发明创造的。

Summer can be very hot in southern taibei where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time.
