看完这本书，我心里有点难过。我觉得老人很可怜。

I have recently read Battle Hymn of Tiger Mother published by The Penguin Press in 2011. This autobiography was written by the Chinese American woman Amy Chua, a tenured professor in Yale Law School. She causes a sensation because her strict but unique parenting which brings excellent performance of her two daughters.

This autobiography tells the course of Amy Chua how she raised the two daughters in Chinese parenting way. It is divided into three parts. At the first part, it gives some introductions of the two daughters, the family. And in the second and third parts, the writer tells more details in the process of raising her two different daughters and the difficulties she was confronted in the process, and most importantly the success the daughters achieved in music which brought Amy Chua pride as well as the whole family.

To some extent, I don’t like Amy’s parenting in some aspects. In my opinion, she deprived the nature of children and pushed too much pressure on their children, especially on Lulu who was under the shadow of her excellent elder daughter—Sophia. While I was reading the third part in the rebellion part, I couldn’t control my own emotion, I felt what Lulu felt and even hated against her selfish and autocratic mother. I couldn’t understand why Amy didn’t let Lulu get up from sit, for water, not even to go to the bathroom when Lulu just wanted a rest during the long hours’ practice of violin. As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little Prince is not very complex. “I”， the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612. The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids. On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd. Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth. Traveling on the earth, the little prince, who sees a garden of five-thousand roses, is overcome with astonishment and sadness, as he considers his rose is unique in the universe before. At that time a fox appears. The fox, who tell the little prince about the meaning of the word “tame”， becomes his new friend. At the time to say farewell, the fox makes him know that his rose is unique because she is his rose and tamed by him. Not long ago I just read the English version of "Diary of Anne Frank." In fact this is not the first time I read this book. When I first read it in elementary school and read the Chinese version. Then still small still can not read that means nothing. Now it seems there feeling very deeply.

Anne Frank was a Jewish girl. She could and ordinary girl living a happy life but she was not hiding different parents attic. Anne all day hiding in dark little attic to escape the Nazis killing. the Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingways most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. It played a GREat part in his winning the Pulizer Prize in 1953 and the 1954 Novel Prize for Literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. Hemingway is also one of my favorite writers. Besides The Old Man And the Sea, I have read some of his other works, such as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and The Snow of Kilimanijaro. But The Old Man and the Sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.

I first read this book when I was in my fifteens. And now I remember it just as well as if I had read it yesterday.

Pride and Prejudice is a chefdoeuvre.

My first impression of this story was from screen.

Its long long ago, maybe before I can read english books. I dont remember which movie edition I had seen. But I was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. Its pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the heroine,though I didnt think shes beautiful. But shes smart. However, I didnt pay much attention to the plot. I thought its so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I havent read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice.

In fact, I didnt understand the story at that time. I didnt know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didnt find where s the prejudice. I thought its normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. Im a prejudiced person so I cant find wheres wrong. I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time.

暑假期间有一部影片《哪吒之魔童降世》不断被刷新中国动画片的票房纪录，我们全家也禁不住诱惑跑到电影院一探究竟，看看它到底有多火。

先从动画片的主人公说起吧，哪吒被改头换面，打破了以往它在我们心目中可爱的造型，这个小哪吒脸上透露出一股邪恶，长着黑眼圈，走起路来手插裤兜吊儿郎当的，一副目中无人的坏模样。其实在影片中，他斩妖除魔、为民除害、保护弱小还是让我们心里暖暖的。这部电影有笑点也有泪点，描述的是天地孕育出两颗混元珠魔丸和灵丸，天师在魔丸上下了天劫咒，三年后便会死去。

身为魔丸的哪吒注定要是一个悲剧了，他拜太乙真人为师学法术，百姓们都称他为妖怪，见到他就躲起来，哪吒从小就没有朋友，很孤单。他也曾多次想为民除害，可是往往都是好心办了坏事，被老百姓们误解，李靖怕他再惹事生非，索性就把哪吒关了起来并严加看管。另一枚混元珠———灵珠就是敖丙，他也是哪吒唯一的朋友。敖丙被他的父王和师傅申公豹教唆去摧毁陈塘关，是哪吒阻止了这一切，他不但改变自己的命运也改变了整个陈塘关老百姓的命运。

影片的最后，天雷降临，那句：“去你个鸟命，我命由我不由天，是魔是仙我自己说了才算！”感动了在座的每一位，是啊，有些人因为命运的不公而选择轻生，或者，接受不了现实的人活不出任何光彩。但也有些人，对命运顽抗。比如谈迁，编写的《国榷》被小偷盗走，下落不明，这是他呕心沥血20多年才写出来的，不过谈迁不认命，不抱怨，马上从困境中走了出来，励志要重新撰写，最终著成了一篇更精彩的《国榷》。我们就要学习这种精神，不向命运低头，不服输，不认输。
