Our extracurricular activities are really colorful. Some are jumping rubber bands, some kicking shuttlecock, some running. The most interesting is the kindergarten children. Theyre playing chicken with their big brother.

左一扑，右一捉，还是一无（所获）硕货。看着那么多的“小鸡”，“口水”流下三千尺。突然老鹰灵机一动，想出了一个好办法，看！它一直往一个地方捉，果然不出所料。捉住了好几只“小鸡”呢！

可是（它自己也）它以满头大汗，气喘吁吁。母鸡也快要不行了！老鹰说：“捉小鸡一定要捉到底！”它好像一下子充满了活力。眼看最后一只小鸡要被捉住了，母鸡一下子转过身，逃脱了老鹰那凶恶的利抓。可是（在紧要关头）再仅要观头，还是被老鹰给吃了！

老鹰胜利了！它高兴（地）了蹦啊，跳啊。

课外活动时操场上可真热闹。有的同学在玩老鹰捉小鸡，有的同学在踢足球，有的同学在跳绳。 “老鹰捉小鸡”可好玩啦！一个同学当“老鹰”，一个同学当“母鸡”，一群同学当“小鸡”。

游戏开始了，老鹰攻来攻去，母鸡还是难以招架，忽然一只小鸡被甩到了老鹰身上，老鹰见小鸡自已送上门来了，一只把它吃掉了。踢足球有十个人。一个人踢足球，传给另外一个人，另一个人再传给别人，他飞快跑去，一下子进门了，红队得了三十四分，

老鹰捉小鸡的游戏真好玩。叶张杰当“老鹰”，她穿着黑色的衣服，我们就给她取了一个外号“黑大捕”，中学生作文《课外活动作文》。“我是母鸡妈妈。”这是谁在唱歌？原来是郑泽宇在唱。你别看他个高，这回，当起“母鸡妈妈”来了。我们呢？当然是当一群黄色的小鸡。“老鹰”飞来了，“鸡”妈妈一眼就看见了，急得心都要跳出来了，他连忙叫自己的孩子躲在自己的身后，生怕老鹰吃他的“宝贝”。“老鹰”早就饿得咕咕叫，一看见嫩嫩肥肥的“小鸡”，灵机一动，想出了一个好主意。她先假装从天上掉到地上，好像死了的样子。“小鸡”看见了，哈哈大笑，有几只调皮的“小鸡”走到“老鹰”的身旁，用脚踢她，这时，“老鹰”伸出她那魔爪抓住了几只小鸡就往天上飞。“母鸡”看到了，差点“昏”了过去。

课外活动真是丰富多彩，有的跳绳，有的丢沙包，还有的在跳牛皮筋呢！

课铃响了，同学们快步走出教室，到操场上参加自己喜欢的课间活动。校园里顿时沸腾起来。 校园的西面，有四个篮球架。篮架的旁边坐着一些同学，不时传来喝彩声和欢笑声。瞧，篮球小将们打得多起劲啊！就一分决定输赢，可是常常打好长时间还不分胜负。 篮架的东面，也围了一些同学。他们在跳绳。一个同学刚刚停下来，另一个同学连忙接上他，继续跳。 踢足球的同学玩得最有劲。两面传球的同学密切合作，不让另一队的同学抢到球。球从空中飞过来了，一个同学来了个临空飞射，把球踢进了另一队的球门。“噢！我们赢了。”获胜的队员欢呼起来。 我们的课外活动真是丰富多彩。有的跳橡皮筋，有的踢毽子，有的跑步。最有趣的是幼儿园的小朋友。他们在大哥哥大姐姐的带领下，在做老鹰捉小鸡的游戏呢！

With the developement of my hometown in the past few years, the population is expanding very fast. The city is

expiriencing not only a higher birthrate than ever, but also waves of immigration. The streets in the city are crowed or even jamed during the rush hours. If I could change one thing about my hometown, I would develope an advanced public traffic system.

In order to hold such an exploding population, the city has extended miles by miles without much plan. It is

common for people to travel from the southmost part to the northmost part of the city to go to work everyday. They have to spend three hours or more on the way they go to work and come home. Eight hours’ work is a heavy burden, while people have to spend hours before and after the work. A subway running through or around the city can

solve the problem. People could live further away from the downtown without worrying about spending too much time on the way.

Some people buy their own car or take a taxi to work

everyday. It’s really expensive for most of the people in the city. They can’t afford paying so much on traffic fares. Many civil engineering experts advocate that sharing a public traffic system is the most efficient way. People could reduce their fares a lot by using the public traffic system, and they can spend the money on some other things.

Even there are more and more people who can afford buying a car or taking taxi everyday, It is still

suggested to using the public traffic system. Because the road developement can never keep up with the demand of the increasing cars, the cars may jam on the roads during rush hours. Usually, the speed of the car in that time is no higher than a bycicle! And pollution is another concern. So many private cars running in the city will bring us an environmental problem. On the other hand, the pollution from the public traffic system is much lighter. All in all, an advanced public traffic system time efficient, cost efficient, and pollution preventing. My father, Winston Churchill, began his love affair with painting in his 40s, amid disastrous circumstances. As First Lord of the Admiralty in 1915, he was deeply involved in a campaign in the Dardanelles that could have shortened the course of a bloody world war. But when the mission failed, with great loss of life, Churchill paid the price, both publicly and privately. He was removed from the admiralty and effectively sidelined.

Overwhelmed by the catastrophe — “I thought he would die of grief,” said his wife, Clementine —he retired with his family to Hoe Farm, a country retreat in Surrey. There, as Churchill later recalled, “The muse of painting came to my rescue!”

Wandering in the garden one day, he chanced upon his sister-in-law sketching with watercolors. He watched her for a few minutes, then borrowed her brush and tried his hand. The muse had cast her spell!

Churchill soon decided to experiment with oils. Delighted with this distraction from his dark broodings, Clementine rushed off to buy whatever paints she could find.

For Churchill, however, the next step seemed difficult as he contemplated with unaccustomed nervousness the blameless whiteness of a new canvas. He started with the sky and later described how “very gingerly I mixed a little blue paint on the palette, and then with infinite precaution made a mark about as big as a bean upon the affronted snow-white shield. At that moment the sound of a motor car was heard in the drive. From this chariot stepped the gifted wife of Sir John Lavery .”

“ ‘Painting!’ she declared. ‘But what are you hesitating about? Let me have the brush — the big one.’ Splash into the turpentine, wallop into the blue and the white, frantic flourish on the palette, and then several fierce strokes and slashes of blue on the absolutely cowering canvas.”

At that time, John Lavery— a Churchill neighbor and celebrated painter— was tutoring Churchill in his art. Later, Lavery said of his unusual pupil: “Had he chosen painting instead of statesmanship, I believe he would have been a great master with the brush.”

In painting, Churchill had discovered a companion with whom he was to walk for the greater part of the years that remained to him. After the war, painting would offer deep solace when, in 1921, the death of the mother was followed two months later by the loss of his and Clementine’s beloved three-year-old daughter, Marigold. Battered by grief, Winston took refuge at the home of friends in Scotland, finding comfort in his painting. He wrote to Clementine: “I went out and painted a beautiful river in the afternoon light with crimson and golden hills in the background. Alas I keep feeling the hurt of the Duckadilly (Marigold’s pet name).”

Historians have called the decade after 1929, when the Conservative government fell and Winston was out of office, his wilderness years. Politically he may have been wandering in barren places, a lonely fighter trying to awaken Britain to the menace of Hitler, but artistically that wilderness bore abundant fruit. During these years he often painted in the South of France. Of the 500-odd canvases extant, roughly 250 date from 1930 to 1939.

Painting remained a joy to Churchill to the end of his life. “Happy are the painters,” he had written in his book Painting as a Pastime, “ for they shall not be lonely. Light and color, peace and hope, will keep them company to the end of the day.” And so it was for my father.

有一天豆豆妈带豆豆去朋友家做客，朋友见豆豆活泼可爱，就拿来一罐糖果，送他带回家去吃。豆豆连连摆手，表示不要。

豆豆妈在旁很高兴。

朋友以为豆豆害羞，就把糖硬塞到他怀里。豆豆拿着糖，眨着着大眼睛天真的问：“阿姨！我可不可以用糖换你后面书架上的书？”

豆豆妈的脸涨得通红。

朋友惊讶地笑道：“哈！豆豆真是爱学习的孩子，长大准有出息，你看看给糖不要，想要书，好！阿姨最喜欢爱学习的孩子，这书架上的书你随便挑，糖和书阿姨都送给你。”

豆豆妈刚想阻止豆豆。
