The two charts show that the increase in the U.S. population has been accompanied by a corresponding decline in the number of wildlife species. Far too many species have been lost already. This poses a danger to ecological balance.

As the human population expands, more and more wild animals are hunted for food, or because they are thought to present a threat to man. But studies show that one of the primary causes of the disappearance of wildlife is pollution, which is one of the consequences of population growth and economic development. 科学家说：这些问题都是温室效应造成的，它的产生是因为过多废气吸收了地球用来阻挡阳光的辐

射，所以太阳可以直直的照进来，使得气候产生了巨大的变化。面对这个全球变暖的现象，一些先进的国家签了京都议定书，签署的国家要少量排放主要以二氧化碳CO2为主的和其它会破坏大气层的气体。但是许多国家为了保护自己的利益，拒绝配合这个协议上该有的规定，所以变暖的现象还是不断的恶化。

为了避免这些事情再度发生，我们应该也尽一份力气来保护地球。虽然我们还是小孩，但是还是可以做一些举手之劳的事情，像随手关灯、多吹自然风，没必要时最好不要开冷气还有要随手关掉没有在用的电气设备，这都是节省电力的好表现。

我们还可以劝爸爸妈妈多搭乘大众运输工具，少开车，而且可以的话最好是骑自行车、滑滑板车或走路，但是如果真的要开车的话，尽量开省油车，这样对减少空气污染有很大的帮助。此外还可以使用一些像是太阳能板的绿色能源来减少电能的消耗。

既然我们不想要忍受炎热的太阳、恼人的臭味和恐怖的灾难，那就从你我开始吧!爱护地球，珍惜每一个有限的资源，一人一小步，世界大进步，我相信地球一定会变回以前的好山好水好风光。

阳光透过树叶的间隙洒落在我的窗前，我终于睁开那迷蒙的双眼，准备迎接新一天精彩到来。微风将白云从吹散了，我些许的倦意似乎也被吹散了，无意间望见生长在烂泥之中的橘子树，可我并不担心，因为它依然那么翠绿挺拔。

在归去的途中，我又似有意无意地朝那望了又望，终于我从烂泥之中拔起了它，以尽可能快的速度回到家中，将它栽在院落中，与其它种植作物生活在一起。院落很大，阳光充足，何况我还会悉心照料，我想，它一定会生长得很好。心中一直这样想，感觉心中有个可爱的小生命在向我朝手，许多植物都似

乎披上了一件金衣，向我展示它们的魅力。我打开笔记本，记了下这个难忘的时刻。

暴风雨来了，我急忙奔向院落，却瞥见橘子树叶子掉落了，虽然依然翠绿，

但躺在地上零零落落，如同一只奉上祭坛的大鸟掉落的羽毛，低吟着壮烈的悲歌离去。我不禁望向乌云连绵的天空，仿佛是它为我改变植物的命运而感到不公，雨夹杂着微风从空中飘落，时间仿佛在那一刻停止。我抱怨着时间的冷漠，在我尽情采取幻梦花朵时，依然分秒不差地滴答着，却在失落时让我沉默。

为什么橘子树在舒适的院落里会掉叶，而在烂泥中却能茁壮成长？我在拔起它的那一刻并未思考过这个问题。对啊，这大千世界，万象纷呈！行走其间，总有令人沉醉之处，也一定会有令人伤心之时。而今我的忏悔是否能填补它心中的失落？

当阳光再次照进我的院落之时，我则已将橘子树移回烂泥之中。只希望还它一个自己喜欢的生长环境。过了一段时间，当我再一次到烂泥中探寻时，我惊喜地瞪大双眼，橘子树枝头又重新泛出了绿意。我感叹道：原来这是你的选择！

徘徊在心头多时的问题成功得到了解决，那就是万事万物都有它自身的生长规律，怎样选择，那是它的不二法则。
