My grade school days are the most wonderful time I have ever had. In those days I always wanted as eagerly to learn as a dog prowls about in search of food. The teachers taught me not only the three R’s but also the way to observe the world surrounding us. They laid more stress on observation than on memorization. Thus we had much time to talk over and trade our learning experiences. What excited me most during my grade school days, however, was to be out collecting specimens of the butterfly. Finally, living conditions need to be improved; and food in the dining-hall is far from being attractive and tasteful.

The distant green wheat fields and golden rape flowers add a bright color to the hometown of spring. After a while, we came to Grandpas tomb. My father took three bow to Grandpas gravestone with my mother and me. How I wish Grandpa would live beside us and enjoy this wonderful life with us.

One day, just before going to school as usual, a schoolgirl , Xiao Fang complained to her father, who was reading a newspaper, saying school life nowadays was dull, she hated going to school and that school was just like the hell . On hearing what his daughter said , Father , silent all the time , said that it was time she went to school with all her complaints over , for in the father’s eyes , no one could change the present situation.
