The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in

time. And during my winter vacation, we welcome the most important festival in

China—Spring Festival, it’s also called Chinese New Year by lots of

foreigners.

At that night, our family came together and had a big meal. Of course we

had dumplings that night, because that is our Chinese traditional. We then watch

the CCTV spring festival evening party together and watch the beautiful

fireworks. That’s the happiest time in this world! The winter vacation I had

dreamed all year around was finally coming. And I really enjoyed a lot from

it.

Secondly, I took some extracurricular activities and read some English original

reading. My favorite book is , written by Sherlock Holmes. Among all the

classical movies, the Sound of Music was the most exciting one. During my

holidays I also made some assistance for my physical class teacher, surely I met

lots of difficulties in this stage and from which I knew what perseverance

really was. Lastly, I went to the temple fair and was lucky to taste several

Chinese traditional dishes; “Jiaohua chicken” is one of them. It is said it

originated from Hangzhou centuries ago, made by a famous beggar Hong Qi Gong,

the senior leader of Beggar Gang.Steamed with fresh lotus leaf wrapped up,it is

famous for its special aroma and taste. Now that the holiday is ending and a new

semester is coming, I need to fresh up and get started to embrace the upcoming

challenges.

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11

o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next

I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on

playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day

of my winter vacation.But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the

books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was

very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends

during the vacation ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in

the past year and play table tennis tegether .And I watched the spring festival

party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the

thing most people of china doing at that time.that’s all, all my dull, coldly

and snowy winter vacation.

Thanks for your letter which finally caught up with me in London. I suppose youre keen to hear how the trip has been so far. So heres a short description of whats happened.

Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff!

The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.

First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England.

After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didnt like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started to appreciate its differentness.

The final stage of our trip is a visit to Rome, after which we will be staying in Singapore for two days before returning to Australia.

吃了午饭后我们就乘游艇驶入大金湖，游艇缓缓向前进，艇尾溅起了许多白色的浪花。我们似乎被绿色所包围了，湖水两边的树木郁郁葱葱，一碧如洗的天空下，绿绿的山倒映在清凌凌的湖水里，显得更绿了。远处群峰叠重，奇石竞秀，在阳光的照耀下好像有许多碎银在闪闪跳动。

游艇在导游的指引下继续前行，当游艇停稳，我们就抬头上仰，我面前出现了空中楼阁，在山洞里一柱擎天，奇特险要，导游向我们解说：“这是甘露寺，是大金湖的著名景点。”我心中不禁感叹起来：建成这样的楼阁，真是要人神合力，才使甘露寺成为这么美的人间仙境。

游艇缓慢地开到水上一线天，忽然，游艇的回音加大起来，山崖挡住了去路。只觉山穷水复疑无路时，却突然发现悬壁的转弯处出现了一条裂缝，游艇顺着这条裂缝向前行驶。这时我们抬头看天，辽阔的天空变成一条长线，使我真正领悟到水上一线的含义。

游遍了大金湖，我领略到了大金湖的绿水和青山。我陶醉于这水，沉醉于这山之中，不知不觉已经是日落时分，我们离大金湖而去了，而大金湖的美丽却永远留在我的脑海中。

I like to see American TV series so much, because not only the plot

attracts me so much, but also I can learn the English spoken language. Recently,

I fall in love with Two Broke Girls, it is so funny and makes me laugh happily.

Besides the humorous plot, I am also inspired by the characters’ spirit. Though

the two girls are poor and work as the waitress in the small restaurant, they

never give up their dreams. They make the plans for their dreams, even they meet

all kinds of difficulties, they are still positive about their future. I learn

things from them, I keep the positive attitude towards life.

假如家长遵守规则，在斑马线处横穿马路，想必安全系数必定大大提高。而从车主的角度来看，他也与前者一样是规则为浮云在路上超速行驶，因而在小孩折返的那一瞬间无法做出有效反应而酿成这样的惨剧。二者对待规则都不重视，以至于酿出悲剧，让年仅6岁的孩子为他们的对规则的忽视丧失了性命，对自己行为的无知付出了生命的代价，这正是对每一个活着的人的警示，无视规则不可取。

在黄埔军道的一次社会实践活动的时候，我最喜欢的就是那惊心动魄的真人CS枪战。

一个风和日丽的上午，我们来到了风景如画的黄埔军道，来体验一下CS真人枪战的乐趣。今天，我们一个个精神饱满，如同一支神气的小特警队。在选枪的时候，我选了一把名叫M2216的激光枪，我相信，我们组是最棒的，一定能取得胜利。

比赛共分为三局。第一局，我找到了一个十分隐蔽的地方，我在那打中了许多的敌人。我心想：你们这群黄毛小子，还敢跟我斗，真是不自量力。可我万万没有想到的是：一个敌人跑到我的身后，用着步枪，用扫射把我给扫“阵亡”了。但我们的团队还是用实战战胜了敌人。那时，我心想：要是那时我再灵活点就好了。这样还可以让团队更早的，取得胜利。

第二局，是斩首战，规则是谁先把敌人的司令长先消灭，那个队就会取得胜利。可惜那一局，我刚上场，由于太大意，就被敌人给消灭了，真是太可惜了。虽然我们的司令长存活了很久，可惜还是被敌人给消灭了。

到了第三局，我们的团队合作能力减弱了，可敌人却提升了。我们队没有战略，可敌人有着丰富的战斗经验，立即把我们队干掉了，真是太可惜了。

最后，敌人以2比1的战绩胜利了。我们队以微小的差距，失败了。

通过这次实践活动，我明白了我们只有团队合作，才能取得胜利。我们战斗不仅要团结，还要有战略，只有这样，我们才有可能胜利。总之，我们要有勇有谋。

When I was in grade four in primary school, my father taught me how to use

computer. After that, I was very interested in playing computer. I watched

movies, played computer games, searched the Internet and listened to the music

on computer. Because my father must work in his computer, so he bought another

for me. I was very happy that I had my own computer. It was put in the study. I

am always very careful to use my computer, because I am worried I would break. I

often chat with my net friends. Because of my computer, I make many friends who

have many in common. Of course, I use my computer in study. There are resources

过端午节，一定少不了粽子!今天，姐姐就在教我包粽子呢!你瞧。

做粽子一定要有准备的。原来，姐姐已准备好浸泡了3个小时的糯米，同时也买好了粽叶，这样准备就让我大吃一惊了。

我把米放在叶子里，可米全撒在了桌上，我生气极了。姐姐对我说：“你要把叶子做成一个三角形的样子，然后再把米放进去啊!”

于是，我按照姐姐说的步骤作了一遍，在米上按了按，咦?旁边那个盘子中间放的是什么?原来是肉馅哦!我在糯米中间挖了一个小洞洞，把肉馅弄成圆状，塞入糯米中，让它也加入糯米的行列中。可怎么封好呢?我看了眼姐姐，就明白了一切。

我把翘起来的一片叶子按下来，并用绳子用力的扎紧。成功啦!我按照前面的方法，包了好多个。现在就要下锅了，先是把水烧开，然后把粽子放下去。

过了一会儿，粽子煮好了。大家四人坐在桌子旁，吃起了粽子。

我把绳子解开，正想把叶子摘掉，可我一碰，就被烫着了。姐姐看了，哈哈的笑了起来。我吹着吹着，把让热气吹走了。我再次小心翼翼的将叶子掀开，吃起了自己亲手做的香喷喷的粽子来——白白胖胖的糯米中间，包着一团鲜汁可口的肉馅，放入口中，不油不腻，又有嚼劲，感觉太好了!

端午节就这么过去了，嘴里吃着自己亲手包的粽子，心里想着我国唐代诗人杜甫写的诗：宫衣亦有名，端午被恩荣。细葛含风软，香罗叠雪轻。自天题处湿，当暑着来清。意内称长短，终身荷圣情。

这真是一个快乐的端午节!
