二次世界大战之后，社会生产力突飞猛进。工业大发展在带给人们财富的同时，也造成了严重的环境污染。大量废弃物的排出、人工合成有毒化合物的扩散等等。无数水土丰美的地方变成了不毛之地，无数原本富饶的土地日益贫瘠……于是，人们逐渐意识到了保护环境的重要性。如今，世界各国都在为保护环境做着大量的工作。

我给大家举几个小例子。我国的木兰溪在50年代初本是一个清澈见底的河流，但现在它却是鱼虾绝迹的污河。1952年12月5日，英国首都伦敦发生了令人震惊的“迷雾事件”，约有1xx人因这次事件而丧生。这次事件的罪魁祸首是“硫酸雾”，它是由漂浮在空气中的二氧化硫、水雾和粉尘共同作用的结果。硫酸雾中所含有的大量有毒成分和粉尘被人吸入肺中后会沉积下来，进入血液，流遍全身，这才造成了如此严重的后果。

由此我郑重向仍未觉悟的人们建议：

1、植树造林可以保护环境但并不是任意植树就可以起到这个作用。要想保护当地环境，必须要选择当地适合的树种。同时各种树种交替使用避免栽种单一并且要保留足够的空间，以助于其他级别的植物繁殖生长。此外还要增加植被的多样性。这样才容易形成像天然林的生态系统，才能保护环境。

2、湿地号称是“地球的肾”，它是一种特殊的生态系统，它为人类提供多种资源，也是多种水生物的栖息地，不仅如此，它同时具有很重要的环境功能，可以净化污染物，抵御洪水，调节气候，美化环境。它同森林、海洋一起被人类称为“全球三大生态系统”。

3必须合理开发水资源，避免水资源破坏。长期以来，大多数人们普遍认为水是取之不尽，用之不竭的“聚宝盆”。其实，地球上的水资源并不是取之不尽的尤其是我国的人均水资源并不丰富，地区分布也不均匀，而且年内变化莫测，年际差别很大，再加上污染严重，造成水源更加紧缺的状况。所以说，人们一定要建立起水资源危机意识，把节约水资源作为我们自觉的行为准则，采取多种形式进行水资源警示教育。

如果没有了自然资源，地球上将会有几百个物种灭绝，洪水肆虐、沙漠扩大，地球上的生物，包括人类自身都将遭受灾难性的打击。所以我们要保护我们赖以生存的家园——地球。

随着工业化的发展，人类对资源的疯狂掠夺和过度开发，地球妈妈变得伤痕累累，不在有那漂亮的蓝色的外衣和那灿烂的笑容。

因为没有水源，所以许多动物、植物、人都焦渴而死。以前那湿润的大地也裂开了又深又大的口，像是娃娃想喝水。

因为人们建造了大量的工厂，工厂把污水直接排到了清澈的小溪里，所以小溪也被污染了。啊！天空中出现了一条条“黑龙”（“黑龙”是指工厂里排出的烟雾），在大街上好不容易找到一个人，也是戴着氧气瓶的。

为了保护我们的地球妈妈，人们醒醒吧！保护我们的地球妈妈吧！

亲爱的同学们：

地球是美丽的，地球是可爱的，地球是无私的。但是，你们知道吗?我们的地球母亲“生病”了。

我们天天在地球上快乐的玩耍，享受着地球丰富的资源。但是，人们却随意浪费我们的资源，工厂的污气到处都是，不文明的现象随街都是。同学们，我们不能眼睁睁地看者我们的地球被毁坏，我们只有一个地球，我们必须行动起来，保护我们的地球，下面我有几点要求向大家倡议：

一：不浪费水，用完水后要把水龙头关紧。循环使用水。

二：要求父母少驾车，多坐公交车或骑自行车的一些绿色交通工具。

三：节约用纸。没用完的可以当草稿使用。不用一次性用品。

地球是美好的，但是，地球却“病”得越来越重了。现在，只有我们行动起来——环保。来保护我们的地球，保护我们这位美丽的地球——母亲。

一位小学生

展望全球，每个国家都在尽力发展自己的工业、农业、商业和国防实力。世界呈现出一片繁荣的景象。可是与此同时，环境也变得岌岌可危：全球变暖、温室效应、白色污染这些严肃的问题人类如果不及时解决，也许就会使得我们这个美丽的星球变得死气沉沉，没有生命的存在了。

这些问题是人类一手造成的。如果不是人类为了自己过上好的日子而发展工业，而把废气排放到新鲜的空气里，也不会有污染；如果不是人类为了自己出行变得方便而乘坐汽车，而把废气排放到新鲜的空气里；如果不是人类为了自己得到经济利益，而把工业污水排放到清澈的河流里这些污染给人类带来了烦恼，带来了死亡。

淮河最大的支流沙颖河现在已经被污染得对人类无任何利用价值了：不能饮用、不能灌溉、不能用于工业。可以说这条河已经被人类杀死了。这沙颖河流域边上的村庄大多数都是癌症高发村。村子里死人可以说是家常便饭。有个不到200户人家的村庄，现在由于癌症死亡的达到100多人。这到底是为什么呢？原来是应为他们喝了沙颖河的水。人们就沙颖河的情况编了这么一个歌谣：50年代，淘米洗菜；60年代浇水灌溉；70年代水质变坏；80年代鱼虾绝代；90年代拉稀生癌。污染给人们带来了死亡的威胁和失去亲人的痛苦。

上述的沙颖河的污染是来自工业污水和生活污水。如果工厂达标排放，生活污水也达标的话怎么会使本来宁静的小村庄变成癌症村？保护环境是和每个人息息相关的，我们可以少扔一个塑料袋，少扔一个易拉罐，少扔垃圾。给车用环保的汽油，用环保的塑料袋总之人人都可以为环保出一份力。只要人人都为环境出一份力，世界将变成美好的人间。

保护环境人人有责。

我热爱地球，热爱我们赖以生存的家园。爱她的青山绿水，爱她的碧草蓝天……

多么好的环境啊!怎能容许被破坏呢?
