虽然采取了以上一些节水措施，但由于人口迅速地增长，我们的水资源仍然缺乏，其实，真要把水保护好，那可不容易，一方面要多种树木、庄稼，以防水土流失;另一方面要让每个人都懂得，污染水资源是一个不打折扣的自杀行为，只有不过度污染水，不多砍树，不要多多开垦荒地，才能真正有效地做到节水目标所以，不管政府采取什么措施，关键还是在于我们每一个人，我们的生命就掌握在我们的手里了，大家一定要想一想这个问题。

知道非洲吧，那里的水才是严重缺乏。每天一家人只有五斤水的重量，这五斤水包括了煮饭、喂牲口、洗澡、洗脸。。。。。。听了这紧急缺水的“通知”让我们快快行动起来吧!每逢每年的植树节，带上树苗、铁锹、水桶去野外植下一棵“绿色的爱心”我相信，全世界的人只要人人种下一棵树，每年的水土流失就会大大的减少。

水是地球生物赖以生存的物质基础，水资源是维系地球生态环境可持续发展的首要条件。因此，保护水资源是人类最伟大、最神圣的天职，所以，就让我们从现在做起，保护每一滴水吧!

在丰富多彩的日常生活中，我们经常可以看到：有的人为了一时痛快，把令人恶心的痰随意地吐在地上。有的人为了省走几步路，随意往整洁的街道上倒令人反胃的垃圾。有的人为了省事，把臭气熏天的污水往清澈的河里倒。有的人在深更半夜不顾影响他人休息，大声吆喝划拳行令。有的人在整洁的墙壁上乱贴花花绿绿的小广告……他们这种不道德的行为严重破坏了人们的生活环境！

这些人缺乏公德心！如果不是，为什么不在自己家里漂亮的墙上，贴五颜六色的小广告为什么不在自己家里随意堆放五花八门的垃圾为什么不把招蝇惹蚊的污水排放到自己家让苍蝇满天飞为什么……不会，他们绝对不会，因为这是他们自己的家。

我相信，如果看到垃圾堆放在你走过的路上，如果看到河里原本清澈的河水被肆无忌惮排放的污水污染，如果踩到别人吐在地上的痰，如果一大早就被高音喇叭吵得无法安宁，如果……你肯定会说：“这些人的公德心都喂狗了！”其实，每个人都需要一个良好的生活环境，你说，是吗

要保护良好的生活环境，首先要在每个人的心中建立起公德心，也就是说，要把社会当成一个大家庭，当成自己的家！如果这样，每个人都会自觉地、尽力地维护这个“家”的美丽，你不用担心踩到西瓜皮而摔得四脚朝天，你不再闻到整洁的街道上垃圾的恶臭，你不再看到河里流着臭气熏天的污水……

Economic development and environmental protection are a pressing issue primarily for developing countries where, in trying to catch up with developed countries, they have to consume natural resources on an unprecedented scale. This has seriously polluted our environment and, with the global environmental campaign gaining momentum, many people in China call for the precedence of environmental protection over economic development.

Any attempt to pose economic development and environmental protection as diametrically contradictory is simple-minded. In order to fight against water pollution, we must understand the problems and become part of the solution; we also need to do everything possible to maintain its quality for today and the future.The government alone cannot solve the entire problem; it’s up to us when it comes to the problems we face with our water. In your home, correctly dispose dangerous household products. Keep paints, used oil, cleaning solvents, pool chemicals, and other dangerous household chemicals out of drains, sinks, and toilets because many of these products contain harmful substances. In your yard, recycle used motor oil. Avoid pouring waste oil and resist the temptation to dump wastes onto the ground.These are just a few of the many ways in which we, as human have the ability to combat water pollution. If these measures are not taken and water pollution continues, life on Earth will suffer severely.

近期发现本市环境直线下降，街上随处可见塑料瓶和易拉罐，水中也漂浮着塑料瓶和一次性塑料盒。垃圾桶旁堆着如小山一般的垃圾，而垃圾桶内的垃圾却并没有填满。绿化带中的垃圾更是数不胜数，学生吃零食吃剩残渣和包装袋，把地上的小草压得不起腰。在此，我对广大市民们提出以下倡议：

1、大人们以身作则，真正做到垃圾不落地，争当好市民。不随手乱扔垃圾，把垃圾送回“家”——垃圾桶。

2、家长们要做好带头作用，主动把垃圾扔进垃圾桶。

Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to man’s existence.

一切生命都需要水资源，电子远空气资源，大气资源，森林资源等……

空气给了新生的婴儿的第一声呼吸，给了人们一生的清新，空气给了万物一片生机。由于人们对空气的一时珍惜意识不够强烈，而导致工厂排放有害气体，从而污染了天空中的空气。

水给在沙漠中迷路的旅客的一线生机，让他们不在干渴，哺育了我们的代代祖辈。保护水的强烈珍惜还是不够，有些不自觉，工厂排放的污水就流入大海中去，可靠消息因生病而去世的根本原因有绝大数都是因为喝水的水源被污染的水导致引发疾病或死亡。

根据计算，按照现在这种浪费电量来算的话，五家门户1000酒量费的电源至少可以供一家贫穷人家用上十天左右了，这是为什么呢？这是因为每户人家，一直出现着灯开着，房间里光亮的，的却不曾见有人待在里面。

大地露出枯黄焦黄的土地在一天天扩大，砍伐树木的数量正在不断增量。

我想起一只小漫画：

村里有个人叫高亮，他是一名伐木哭，常年在这片拥有茂密丛林的小树林里医护村子里每天至少要砍20至30多棵树。已知啄木鸟每次看到他来砍树，都一直告诫她不要砍树，枯黄在一天天扩大，小啄木鸟的家也被他砍没了。之后离开了这片树林，后来领水土流失，从而引发大洪水，一个村子都被淹没了，包括高亮在内。

这则故事告诉我们：

这一个个美丽的环境是祖辈用双手保护才得来的，不能随意破坏他们，否则后果不堪设想，所以我们要珍惜资源，保护环境。

我镇各村的街道都已放置垃圾桶，街道也有专人清扫，我们的街道会越来越干净，我们的生活环境会越来越美好。为共同创造洁净、优美的生活环境，在此，我们倡议：

我家住在卫生局，那里种植了各种花草：金银花、铁树、兰草花、紫荆花……各种健身的器材静候着爱锻炼的人们，一簇簇绿绿的小草簇拥着院子，使院子显得分外美丽。

人们总是认为水是“取之不尽，用之不竭”的，事实上中国的水资源十分紧缺，人均水资源只有世界平均水平的四分之一。但是在这种条件下，日常用水中还存在着相当严重的浪费现象，比如在用水的时候去开门、接电话，刷牙、洗手后不关水龙头等等，据专家分析，这种不起眼的不良习惯造成了相当大的浪费，只要改制这些不良习惯，就能节水70%左右。另外污染也造成了水资源的浪费，听说现在许多地方的河流、湖泊受到了严重的污染，使得人们生活用水受到威胁，非常可怕，我的内心久久不能平静。

为了节约用水，我制订了家庭节水计划，决心“节约水资源从我做起”，要养成随手关龙头的好习惯，不玩水，洗脸水用过后可以洗脚，然后冲厕所，提醒妈妈，洗米煮面水可以洗油碗等等。

水是生命之源，应该从珍惜一点一滴水做起，牢固树立“节约用水光荣，浪费用水可耻”的观念，时时处处注意节约用水。

As an engineering student majoring in environmental systems, I have strong awareness of the environment and want to work in the field of environmental protection.
