I participated in the separation method of nitrifier and denitrifier (chemolithoautotrophic bacteria, very small colony, grows slow, have the same color with the culture medium) and do some research on their Physiology characteristics.

I have been consciously strengthening my research ability by teaching myself advanced knowledge including microbial physiology, microbial statistics. Through these projects, I have not only learned many practical techniques but also acquired a solid theoretical background and a broad scope in scientific research in my fields of interest. Despite the intensive curriculum, I have always kept an eye on a broader world outside.

As a member of the CSU-Students Union, I’ve improved my communication and cooperation skills through some meaningful activities. It has become clear to me that a good academic environment can play a very important role in my pursuit of excellence. I believe pursuing a Master’s degree at CSU, would be a most reasonable extension of my academic pursuit and a major step forward toward my career goal.

No tourist can afford to miss one attraction located on the island —— the nations largest piano museum. Divided into two exhibition halls, the museum guides visitors through a vivid history of the instrument with displays and illustrations. All different types of pianos such as miniature pianos, automatic pianos, accordion pianos and round-shaped pianos, are on display.

The architecture in the islet varies greatly in style, Chinese and foreign. Thus the islet has a laudatory title the World Architecture Museum Covered in green all the year round, its charming, elegant, secluded and serene. A great variety of villas stand shrouded by lush wood resembling numerous jadeites embellished upon a piece of verdant silk brocade. Today, Gulangyu is listed as one of the nations major scenic spots. My name is Li Hua. I was born in Dalian, Liaoning province in February 1977. I started school in 1984 when I was seven,and I studied in Guangming Primary School from 1984 to 1990. After that I went to No.6 Middle School of Dalian and graduated this summer. The main subjects ! studied at school included Chinese, Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry and Computer. I like English and Computer best and I am very good at them. Last year I won first prize in the school computer competition. In my spare time I enjoy listening to popular music and collecting stamps. My favourite sports are swimming in summer and skating in winter.

The Great Wall runs across North China like a huge dragon,It winds its way from west to east,across deserts,over mountains,through valleys till at last it reaches the sea.Its the longest wall on the earth,also one of the wonders in the world.

The Great Wall has a history of more than 2000 years.The first part was built during the Spring and Autumn Period.All the walls were joined up in Qin Dynasty.All tile work was done by hand.Thousands of people died while building the wall.Thus the Great Wall came into existence.
