Im in my third year now in Environmental Sciences. And what do I want to do with my B.S. once I graduate? Become a librarian. Yes, I know it sounds completely random and unrelated, but thats my master plan. Right now Im preparing for all those crazy grad school applications that Ill be sending in next fall. I began thinking about what kind of skills I have and what kind of jobs would complement my natural interests. Ive thought about becoming a librarian dozens of times growing up but for some strange reason, I never took it seriously. But it popped back into my mind as I was contemplating all this. So I began to do some research and I also talked to a lot of family and friends. Its crazy because everyone I shared with gave me a lot of affirmation and encouragement about pursuing it! If theres anything you can get out of my strange journey I hope its the comfort and reassurance that you dont always have to know what you want to do in the near future. And its okay to change majors or even pursue a major that may not necessarily be related to your future career. You should enjoy what youre studying. But also seek after what you really love.

Now I want to say something about my dream. What is my dream? I often ask

myself. In my mind, everyone shall have his own dream. I think that having a

dream means that we have an idea, and then we will do all the things to achieve

the target. As long as we have a goal to be realized, we won’t be blind at

least.

My dream is to become a successful doctor, helping those sick people and

saving their lives. Of course, to be a good doctor is very difficult, but I will

do whatever I can do to keep everyone healthy. Thats my dream. I want to try my

best to help the poor sick people of our country. I want to let them have an

opportunity to receive excellent treatments for their illnesses without having

to pay much or just enjoy them free. China is a developing country which needs

good medicine and good doctors, especially in the countryside and distant

villages.

Now I’m a junior student on Grade One, all my classmates and I are working

hard. We all know that the entrance exam of high schools coming in the year of

2009 is a big challenge for us, so we must study harder and harder in order to

go to a good high school. Thus after we finish our senior high school, we are

able to go to a good university. Finally, we can find a good job in society.

My dream is also that although at present I’m good at study, I’ll still try

时光荏苒，时间来去匆匆，一转眼，六年的小学生活结束了，我们即将告别多彩的童年，迎来辉煌的少年时代。今天--七月三日--这是一个不同寻常的日子，是我最后一次以一个小学生的身份踏入我的母校--进修附小。

早晨，我怀着复杂的心情踏入了熟悉的校园。来到教室，我见到了昔日朝夕相处的同学，他们个个神采奕奕，让这仅剩的一点时间中再次充满欢乐，让宽敞明亮的教室再次洋溢着欢声笑语……真希望时间能停止在这美好的一刻啊!

毕业典礼开始了，在两棵百年凤凰榕下，同学们整齐得站着，每个同学的家长则坐在后面的椅子上。在斗志高昂的国歌，校歌动人的旋律中，王校长，学生代表，家长代表纷纷在凤凰榕下致词，那一字字，一句句文字之间都流露着这依依惜别之情和衷心的祝愿之情。老师，谢谢您，让我从幼稚走到了成熟，让我从无知变得懂事……谢谢您……

紧接着我们拿到了《凤凰榕树下》这本书，这是一本汇编我们同届同学的毕业文集，它把我们都定格了，记录了我们在附小留下的深深的脚印。这本书，不同于任何书籍，它是同学发自心灵的感叹与老师孜孜不倦地教导的结晶。

到了颁发毕业证书的时刻了，只见老师手里捧着一叠毕业证书，交给四位组长，然后由组长颁发到每个同学手中。但我拿着这本证书，心情好沉重，不知是该高兴还是该难过!高兴的是这本证书是小学六年学习的见证，它关闭了我们的丰富多彩的小学生活，同时也打开了我们通往多姿多彩的中学生活的大门;难过的是拿到这本证书后大家就要分开了……这本小小的毕业证书好重……好重……

我们能有今天，离不开父母鼓励和无微不至的照顾，父母恩，比山高，比海深，我们应当懂得感恩，于是同学们纷纷给自己的父母献上了一份真诚的礼物。我捧着礼物，走到爸爸面前，送给爸爸:“爸爸，这是放在汽车里面的，上面的四个字‘一帆风顺’，是我对您的祝福，谢谢您从小到大对我的无私的爱……。”

很快，毕业典礼结束了，我们的心情都十分复杂。当我踏出进修附小的校门时，不禁再次回头凝望着美丽的母校…………

The after-class activities in my school are colorful. Every day we play basketball, football, do rope skipping and so on. But I like the Month of Science and Technology and the Cultural Festival most. In those days, we have a chance: to show ourselves to all the students. We can invent something with some classmates. As far as Im concerned, I do not agree with the view that competition and cooperation are always in conflict with each other.
