As a chinese, I was really ashamed of having a little knowledge of dragon boat festival. When we talk about being independent, we often think about leaving our parents and living alone. The mental independence is always ignored by people, mental independence means the person can measure the things and make the right decision. As for the children, even they move out and stay far away from their parents, but sometimes they just can’t control themselves, they will get the bad behavior, like smoking and drinking, their life is losing control. The young people need to cultivate their independent spirit, they should think by themselves, learn to take care of the other people, thus they can be the real independent. The older I grow, the more I appreciate children. Now, at my 80th birthday, I salute them again. Children are the most wholesome part of the race, the sweetest, for they are freshest from the hand of God. Whimsical, ingenious, mischievous, they fill the world with joy and good humor. We adults live a life of apprehension as to what they will think of us; a life of defense against their terrifying energy; a life of hard work to live up to their great expectations. We put them to bed with a sense of relief---and greet them in the morning with delight and anticipation. We envy them the freshness of adventure and the discovery of life. In all these ways, children add to the wonder of being alive. In all these ways, they help to keep us young.

其实，我以前挺胆小的，从在大庭广众下说话，这应该算内向吧，不过有两件事彻底了我。

五年级时，报纸上“萧山日报小记者”的报道，就想让我参加，有办法呢?母命违，我去面试了，面试时，我总想着“逼”自己第大声又镇定地回答老师的，总算那次面试让我了。

更绝件事，当了小记者采访，有上新闻班，老师让去江寺公园采访，跟不认识打交道，别说没做过，我连想都想，愿做茫茫沙漠中的一粒细沙，可做出人头地的仙人掌，也像水与打交道。

老师要采访五个人，天哪，简直太难了!大人的话权威，我乖乖去采访，我找了块“风水宝地”，在那蹲守，个人，我想：等下怎么说呢?是先介绍呢打招呼呢?没等我想好，那人早连影儿都没了，泡汤了。等个来了，我欲言又止，有泡汤了，我在那边游荡，老师走问：“洪煜，你采访得怎么样了?”我向她汇报，老师又惊又怒：“，怎么都没，哦那边人，你快去”。我跑着去采访，我破天荒的大声与他讲话，还口齿伶俐，我还破天荒的了。

我有这样的，全靠这二件事，其实，人都要去那生命中的“采访”这样，才会降临身边。

on the contrary, a driver with no aim drives aimlessly around, never getting anywhere and just using up gas and oil. winners in life set goals and follow through on them. they decide what they want and then get there by making plans and setting goals.

goals ara not difficult to set and they are not difficult to reach. it is up to you to find out what your goals, ideals and visions really are. with a clear direction, and with certain plans, you will straightly get what you want.

without a goal, you have to live a passive life. you do not know where to go, what you want and why you are listless. then your life be comes dull and meaningless just like the dead water in a muddy lake.
