要好好学习，从小炼就过硬本领，我想我们应该在新学期中从以下几个方面入手：

With the increasing use of cell phones, spam message has become a heated problem. According to a survey, on average, people receive about 40 pieces of spam message per month. Spam message can disturb, confuse, or even threaten people at any time.

今天，受一位教授的邀请，我们去参加了ETSU的毕业典礼、颁奖仪式，当然我们不是其中的一员，只是观众，所以还是叫“参观”比较合适吧。

其实，观摩今天毕业典礼的人数还是不少的。左右两侧的观众席上都坐了很多很多的人。即便平常有什么比赛，好像也没这么多的人吧。参加毕业典礼的人也很多，这个毕业典礼不仅仅是为今天春季毕业的博士生和硕士生而举行的，本科生也是要参加的。听说今年ETSU的春季毕业生比较多，所以，按学院分别举行了上午和下午两场典礼仪式呢。我们参加的是今天下午的毕业典礼，会场气氛比较热烈，虽然每个人基本上都是在给自己的家人或朋友加油、欢呼。

首先是给博士们颁奖，博士毕业生不算多但也不算太少，大概有三十多个人吧。博士生们领奖的时候，间隔的时间是最长的，不仅读出了他们的名字，还把每个人的导师也读了出来。我想这些博士生应该是很骄傲的，即使他们在考博、读博的路上遇到很多艰辛与困难，但是一直坚守，坚定不放弃的信念，使他们最终做到了，达到了自己的目标。

其次是硕士生的颁奖。硕士生的颁奖时间稍短了一点，没有读出老师的名字，也没有像博士生一样让老师在脖子上带一个东西从背后垂下来，好像只是从主席台上拿到自己的毕业证书，就下去了。不过相比那些本科毕业生还好一点，因为他们比本科毕业生少，也比本科毕业生地位高一点吧。最后一一登上主席台的是本科毕业生。本科毕业生的间隔时间是最短的了。读了名字，接过证书，匆匆就下去了。

毕业典礼的时间持续了两个多小时，最后的程序也显得比较单一乏味了些，但是能够现场感受一下美国高校的毕业典礼或者说是颁奖典礼，也算是一种体验吧。

时间像一缕青烟，漂然而去，转眼间，美好的暑假就过去了，九月的风儿把我们送回了美丽的校园，就连玲珑可爱的小鸟都想再次聆听我们美妙的读书声，在这个美妙的日子里我们迎来了新学期的开学典礼和教师节。

新的学期，新的起点，在此我祝愿，所有的同学都能，好好学习，天天向上，把更多的知识凝聚在我们的脑海中，记得有这样一句话："饭可以不吃，但书一定要读。"读书不但丰富了我们的知识，还武装了我们的头脑。就拿伟人毛泽东来说吧!他参加过无数次战役，但没有哪一次不带书。就连生病了都坚持看书学习，为建设美丽富饶的祖国奉献自己的一份力量。

奉献!说到奉献我就不得不提到为我们默默奉献，不求回报，几十年如一日辛勤工作的老师们，你们就像园丁一样，为我们浇水、施肥、除草，我们在您辛劳汗水的浇灌下慢慢成长。你们又像一座桥，我们踏着您的身躯迈向成功的彼岸，你们从不叫苦叫累，只是希望我们好好学习，学习就是给您最好的安慰!

Deforestation removes old growth trees that cant be replaced. Too much fishing may harm fish populations to the point where they cant recover. We are too careless in taking what we want without giving anything back.

There are more people than ever, living longer that ever. So is it any surprise that many areas suffer from too much development? Anyone living in or near a city has experienced "urban sprawl". There is a new shopping area on every corner and new houses, townhouses and apartments everywhere. Traffic gets worse and worse because planners cant keep up with growth. Keeping up with human demand is hard enough. Environmental concerns come in last.

With growth comes pollution. Companies and communities dump waste into water. Landfills are full of trash. Emissions from factories pollute the air. Barrels of industrial waste and worse, radioactive waste, have no safe place to go. If were not careful, we can harm our planet beyond repair.

People need to respect the Earth and try to preserve it. If we dont, what kind of future will we have?

I was so busy in the previous winter holiday for I am going to take the

university entrance exam in July this year. Everyday, I buried myself in

studying. I had to review each required subject and do lots of exercises.

Besides, because I did bad in mathematics and physics, I had to do much more

exercises than other courses, which made me discouraged. I spent more than ten

hours a day in studying. When I was tired, I watched TV or listened to music for

a little while. But It was a big pity that I couldnt go to the see cinema. In

addition, I had to refuse all the invitations of friends and relatives. I only

called them or sent messages in the New Year’s Eve. I desperately hoped that

there is no exam but I know it’s impossible. The only thing I can do is to study

对待老师发自内心的尊重，从不会敷衍，老师吩咐的作业我会及时完成，也会准时完成，因为我清楚老师给我们安排的任务都是为我们考虑，完成了每日作业，自己会主动的去做一些习题练习加强自己的能力多练题，多做作业，还会在上课前复习和背诵，抓住每一分钟时间，掌握好每一个知识点。
