第二天早上，我去天安门广场看升旗仪式。天刚刚蒙蒙亮的时候，我和爸爸，妈妈一起乘出租车来到了天安门广场。我看到广场上人山人海，他们都在等升旗。我用力挤进人群中，挤的满头大汗，还是没有看见旗杆。我很失望，就叫爸爸把我抱了起来，我看见旗杆。抱了一会儿，升旗仪式开始了，我看见一些士兵排着整齐的队伍，迈着整齐的步伐，拿着旗子走向旗杆。接着慢慢地国歌又唱了起来，旗子也缓缓地升了起来，等旗子升到顶的时候，我兴奋极了，我感觉升旗很壮观。

Summer is here, and the sun is closest. The summer vacation had come round again。 I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while。 Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation， I made a plan as to how to spend it。 First， I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them。 Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise， such as walking， running rowing， to keep me physically strong。 It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time。 I did， because I lived up to what I had planned。

暑假里的一天，妹妹举着平板电脑乐颠颠地跑来找我：“姐姐，快看看我找到了什么！你做一个‘流沙本’给我好么？”我接过平板一看：“嗨！不就是个本子嘛！”这个本子的特别之处就在于封面：封面上有个沙漏形状的镂空，镂空处透出了装着金粉和液体的混合物的密封袋和密封袋背面的彩色纸背景。这样，本子竖立时，从封面的镂空沙漏图案里可以看到金粉在液体中缓缓降下，犹如从沙漏顶端徐徐飘落，在彩色背景的衬托下确实挺唯美的。

接下来，我按照制作视频备齐了金粉、透明密封袋、色素、胶水、彩笔、双面胶、本子，准备10分钟后给妹妹一个惊喜。

镂空硬纸还算顺利。可是，制作流沙密封袋的第一步就出了差错：我把白胶当成了透明胶水，尽管加水稀释，却也无法透出金粉的光亮。唉，白白浪费了一批材料，只好重来。第二次，金粉、胶水和清水终于混合成功了，但色素却不见了踪影，终于找到后，匆忙之间，色素被我洒在了地上；第三次，由于拿错了彩笔，密封袋底面的背景颜色涂错了，深蓝色涂成了浅紫色……前前后后，已经过去了一个半小时，我的流沙封面还没有完工，我沮丧地想：教程视频明明只要两分钟，我做起来怎么这么难啊！

当最终的作品完成后，妹妹用崇拜的眼神看着我，说：“真漂亮！姐姐，你好厉害呀！”我看着垃圾筐里的十几个失败的样品“嘿嘿”一笑，心想，这个“厉害”可来得真不容易：每一个步骤看似简单，但如果没有用心，一出纰漏就有可能让前面的付出功亏一篑。以后，我可真不能再轻视那些看似简单的事了。

看着流沙封面的金沙徐徐飘落，仿佛能感受到时间慢慢堆积。我不禁想，我们的成长也如这金沙一般，一点一滴，不断积累。愿我能像做流沙封面那样，细处用心，将一点点闪亮越积越厚。

对我而言，这个暑假是最漫长的，也是最有意义的。

刚放假的时候，心情是无比兴奋的，以为可以不用读书，66无虑地玩两个月。第一、二个星期，每天躲在房间里上网，除了三餐时间，白天都在楼上。从第三个星期开始，就觉得在家很无聊，整天对着电脑发呆。没有同学、老师在身边，听不到朗朗的书声，周围的一切事物都变得无趣，慢慢觉得空虚。

一个月还不曾过去，就开始盼望着开学，回忆着与同学们在一起的快乐时光，便觉得时间好漫长，从来没有觉得时间如此漫长。

第二个月，听妈妈的话跟着姐姐去了她就读的工业大学，去那边学习，补课。心中想着，或许这样时间会过得稍微快些，就当作是消磨时间。大学的面积很大，有4座桥，3个食堂，2家超市，1个图书馆，游泳馆，眼镜店，书店，理发店，报刊亭…让人感到奇怪的是，还有一个幼儿园。我白天在图书馆写作业，看书，晚上在寝室上网。每天可以去超市买零食，每个星期可以去校外吃冷饮，一个月可以逛街3次，表现好还可以去看电影。一开始我以为大学生的生活是很悠闲的，后来才发现要做调查报告，写征文，每天还是很忙碌的。大学生活还算不错，比较有意义，会是一个美好的回忆。
