The original Santa Claus, St. Nicholas, was born in the ancient southeastern Turkish town of Lycia early in the fourth century. His generosity was legend, and he was particularly fond of children. From 1863 until 1886, Nast created a series of Christmas drawings for Harpers Weekly. These drawings, executed over twenty years, exhibit a gradual evolution in Santa from the pudgy, diminutive, elf-like creature of Dr. Moores immortal poem to the bearded, potbellied, life-size bell ringer familiar on street corners across America today. Nasts cartoons also showed the world how Santa spent his entire year constructing toys, checking on childrens behavior, reading their requests for special gifts. His images were incorporated into the Santa lore.

Santa is known throughout the world in many different names, such as:

我拿出了几天前悄悄地做给爸爸、妈妈的心爱的礼物。爸爸高兴地连声说：“Thank you! Thank you!”还把我抱起来了呢!我开心极了!

下午，妈妈带我去漕运广场买圣诞树。那里的人真多呀!妈妈给我买了许多礼物，有会唱“Jingle bell”的玩具圣诞老人，有传说中神奇的魔术棒……虽然妈妈没有给我买圣诞树，但是我已经很满足了。

回到家后，我把礼包打开，把圣诞老人放在地上，只见他边跑边唱“Jingle bell，jingle bell……”我们都被逗乐了。爸爸提醒我说：“礼物要好好珍惜哦!”我说：“好，一定!”

今天，真是一个快乐的圣诞节!

在第32个教师节来临之际，德州市教育局深入贯彻落实《教育部关于做好庆祝2016年教师节有关工作的通知》(教师函〔2016〕6号)和《山东省教育厅关于做好庆祝2016年教师节有关工作的通知》(鲁教师字〔2016〕14号)精神，以“甘守三尺讲台，争做‘四有’老师”为主题，精心策划，创新形式，多举措开展庆祝教师节活动。

三是开展学习宣传活动。开展向李保国同志、全国教书育人楷模和“最美教师”等学习活动。组织我市新闻媒体，对全市涌现出的好学校、好校长、好教师、尊师重教先进典型等进行集中宣传报道，展现他们在日常工作中所蕴含的爱岗敬业、立德树人、无私奉献的师德风范，展示新时期人民教师可亲可敬、可学可鉴的良好形象，形成广大教师争做“四有”好老师的良好局面，激发社会力量办学热潮，营造尊师重教的良好氛围。

四是开展“师德建设教育月”活动。今年9月，在全市教职工中深入开展“师德建设教育月”活动，完善落实师德建设长效机制。通过座谈会、主题演讲、征文、宣誓等多种形式，引导教师自觉将师德规范转化为内在信念和行为品质，提高师德践行能力。强化监督查处，全面开展中小学有偿补课和教师违规收受礼品礼金问题自查和专项治理工作，从严约束执教行为，打造风清气正、崇德向善的良好育人环境。

五是开展“德州最美教师”评选活动。评选侧重在教书育人方面作出突出贡献的教师，注重扎根边远农村的优秀教师的评选。收听收看中央电视台播出教育部“寻找最美教师”颁奖典礼、山东教育电视台播出“2016齐鲁最美教师”评选颁奖盛典暨教师宣誓活动，集中对“德州最美教师”进行宣传报道。

六是举办“学校开放日”活动。教师节期间，各学校结合各自实际，开放学校实验室、教育教学功能场馆、教室等，并利用多媒体和网络等形式，充分展示学校的新形象、新亮点，展示教育教学成果。让家长、社会了解教育，支持教育。

中秋节在我们中华民族历史的长河中，文化内涵已发展成表达美满、和谐、富饶和安康的美好愿望，也成为团结、团圆、庆丰收的象征，但团圆是中秋节最重要的思想内涵。中秋节强调的是团圆，他符合中华民族的伦理观，对构建和谐社会是很有意义一个节日。如果把它的文化内涵发掘出来，我们会发现，原来传统中秋节是这么有意思。

中秋节是我国仅次于春节的第二大传统节日。根据史籍记载，"中秋"一词最早出现在《周礼》一书中。周代已有"中秋夜迎寒"、"秋分夕月(拜月)"等活动。直到唐朝初年，中秋节才成为固定的节日。中秋节盛行始于宋朝，至明清时，已与元旦齐名，成为我国的主要节日之一。中秋节有许多别称：因节期在八月十五，所以称"八月节"、"八月半";因中秋节的主要活动都是围绕"月"进行的，所以又俗称"月节"、"月夕";中秋节月亮圆满，象征团圆，因而又叫"团圆节"。在唐朝，中秋节还被称为"端正月"。关于"团圆节"的记载最早见于明代。

到了中秋，月上中天时，最难忘怀的还是那几句诗："海上生明月，天涯共此时";"露从今夜白，月是故乡明";"江畔何人初见月，江月何年初照人"。正是因为有了这样剪不断、理还乱的情结，中秋时，每当看到一轮圆月挂上了天空，不由的就会想到远方的亲人，不由得想到自己"独在异乡为异客"而变得感伤。此时家乡亲友的问候最是暖人心怀，遥在他乡的你也该连线父母，道声平安，一诉乡思。

当然中秋节也是东亚民间的一个传统节日，受中华文化的影响，中秋节也是日本、韩国等国的传统节日。
