孔子说：“看见德才兼备的人就想着像他一样好;看见不贤德的人就要反省自己，看看自己有没有和他一样的毛病。”

子曰：“三人行，必有我师焉。择其善者而从之，其不善者而改之。”(《述而》)

翻译

孔子说：“几个人走在一起，在其中必定有值得我去学习的人。选择他们的优点来学习，如果看到自己也有和他们一样的缺点，要及时改正。”

曾子曰：“士不可以不弘毅，任重而道远。仁以为己任，不亦重乎?死而后已，不亦远乎?” (《泰伯》)

翻译

曾子说：“有抱负的人不可以不刚强勇毅，因为责任重大而且路途遥远。把推行“仁爱”看作自己的责任，不也重大吗?奋斗直到死才停止，不也遥远吗?”

士不可以不弘毅，任重而道远。这是一个因果关系的句子。

第九则

子曰：“岁寒，然后知松柏之后凋也。”(《子罕》)

翻译

孔子说:"只有在寒冷的冬天,才知道松柏(bǎi)是最后凋谢的。"

子贡问曰：“有一言而可以终身行之者乎?”子曰：“其恕(shù)乎!己所不欲，勿施于人。”(《卫灵公》)

子曰：“其恕乎!己所不欲，勿施于人。”(《卫灵公》)

孔子说：“那大概就是‘恕’吧!自己不想做的事，不要施加在别人的身上。”

Punishments from the Nature

A woodcutter and a woodpecker lived in the forest. The woodcutter used to cut down trees to catch insects to make her living. Year after year they did the same things.

But one day when the woodcutter came to the forest, he found the forest had disappeared. He could only see the stumps around him. Then he heard somebody crying. He looked around and saw the bird standing on a stump and crying.

Yes, now there was no wood, no insects. How would they make their living? They were punishments from the nature.

The annual Lantern Festival arrived, and I came to my grandmas house with a

happy mood.

一年一度的元宵节到了，我怀着愉快的情绪来到奶奶家。

奶奶早已给我和姐姐准备好的灯笼，我的是一只笑眯眯的小猪，它的样貌十分可爱，还带着一个小肚兜。姐姐的是一只小蜻蜓，它的翅膀像真的一样，能够来回扇动。晚饭前，奶奶让我和姐姐用灯笼照一下粮仓和墙角等地方，奶奶说这样照过了的地方一年四季就不会生虫了。

晚饭过后，我们又到屋外放烟花，爸爸抱出一个很大的烟花，放在院子中间，一点火，噼里啪啦，只见火光冲天，烟花变成了一个个金黄色的小圆球，飞向四面八方，真漂亮，我和姐姐激动的又蹦又跳。

今年的正月十五我过得真快乐呀!
