My Father

There is always a brilliant image living in my heart. That is my dear father. Seen through the eyes of many other people, father seems to be a very ordinary person. Saturday, my classmates and I went to the zoo, the first bus ride to the wildlife park. We take pictures at the door and we went in. 遥想当年，中华神州大地上距今约1500万年的时代中，出现了一位宅边有五柳的诗人――陶渊明。如果说庄周隐居则多出于个人性情――不服儒家之道；如果说诸葛亮隐居则多出于外界因素――暂避当时的战乱。那陶渊明则两者都有，一是为东晋王朝昏庸无为的统治者，二是为自己的志向而隐，于是他淡泊名利，不想出世的性格深入我心，但慢慢长大，再读陶渊明的诗，竟读出了另一番滋味。

陶渊明，又名潜，字元亮，他出任江州祭酒，不久辞官，先后又做过镇军参军、建威参军等职，后任彭泽县令。点点滴滴说明，他还是有一腔热血而非一心向隐的，只是当时历史条件的束缚，加之陶渊明安贫乐道的本性，难以凭一己之力改变时局等的原因，他才无奈归隐。显然，这是无奈的，但也是明智的。

有人说陶潜消极遁世，我认为是只知其一，不知其二。

他笔下写着“富贵非吾愿”时，心中又何尝不想“闲居亦非吾愿”呢？

In schools all over the world boys and girls are learning foreign languages。 Many adults are

doing so in their spare time。 Everybody knows his own language， but to know another is very useful。

Which is the best way to learn a language? We should remember we all learnt our own language well when we were children。 If we could learn a second language in the same way， it would not seem so difficult。 Think what a small child does。 It listens to what people say and tries to imitate what it

hears。 When it wants something， it has to ask for it。 It is using the language。 It is talking and thinking in it all the time。 If one has to use a second language all the time， he would learn it quickly。

It is important to remember， also， that we learn our own language by hearing people speaking it not by seeing what they write。 We imitate what we hear。 In school， though you learn to read and write as well as to hear and speak， it is best to learn all new words through the ear。 Of course you also learn to read them， spell them and write them。
