又一次，在五年之后，我和爸爸、奶奶再次来到了这里。一到河边，就被眼前的一切惊呆了。我竟难以相信这就是我深深难忘的家乡水。

听父母说，以前，湘江水特别明澈，一到炎夏就有很多人来游泳。人们亲切的称它为绿色之河。

忽然，我明白了，今日的人们一味的追求发展，而忽视了保护环境，保护水资源的重要性。

唉！青山绿水今何在？

如果失去水

人们啊人们！

如果失去了水，你喝什么？用什么来灌溉每一寸土地，用什么来滋润每一株小草？如果没有如此美丽的水，又哪来苏轼的千古佳句水光潋滟晴方好？如果没有水，世间万物又何在？

当我们面对这样的水时，您还会歌颂它的美丽，感叹它的生机吗？面对摆在眼前的事实，难道还不足以给人们敲响水之患的警钟，敲醒人们的觉悟吗？

俗话说：失去了，才懂得珍惜！

人们，难道真的要让最后一滴水成为人类伤心欲绝、悔恨觉悟的眼泪吗？请不要失去了后才懂得它的珍贵，到那时候恐怕后悔也没用了。

爷爷还给我讲了几个关于月亮的传说，明年中秋我一定仔细观察月亮，看上面到底有没有嫦娥、玉兔、老桂树。

我本以为他会带我去哪个大学里，可是，我们居然来到了我所就读的小学并来到了我曾上过的一(3)班，这时，我终于见到了爸爸的老师，这个老师竟然是我的数学老师，也是爸爸曾经的老师。老师拍拍爸爸的肩膀，说：“你这些年，在数学是上成就确实很大，我们全校都以你为荣!”爸爸却谦虚地说：“我要感谢老师您，是您人我懂得了更多的知识。”

这时，我才明白，爸爸虽然是数学家，可是他也有一年级的老师。

As we can see, the world population is growing rapidly day by day. So enough fresh water is needed to feed such a big population. What’s more, with the development of industry, factories and vehicles produce poisonous gases or wastes, which consequently results in the pollution of water. Though fresh, a good amount of it can no longer be used. Only quite limited fresh water resource is available to human beings. So it’s high time for us human beings to take quick action to protect water resource. Stop pollution and save water, otherwise, we cannot survive on the earth.

With fresh water, the world will be prosperous.

It is important to know our good and bad points because this knowledge will help us to improve ourself. We should examine ourselves and learn who we are.

Above all, we should recognize our strengths and weaknesses. For example, I am healthy and fit, so I can work hard. Im also optimistic, humble and polite. These are my strengths. However, I also have weaknesses. For one thing, Im stubborn and a little impatient. Im sometimes lazy as well and can spent a whole day just watching TV and eating junk food. Im not ashamed to admit these bad pints. Knowing what they are lets me focus on improving myself.
