Practical jokes are a common practice on April Fools Day. Sometimes, elaborate practical jokes are played on friends or relatives that last the entire day. The news media even gets involved. For instance, a British short film once shown on April Fools Day was a fairly detailed documentary about "spaghetti farmers" and how they harvest their crop from the spaghetti trees.

April Fools Day is a "for-fun-only" observance. Nobody is expected to buy gifts or to take their "significant other" out to eat in a fancy restaurant. Nobody gets off work or school. Its simply a fun little holiday, but a holiday on which one must remain forever vigilant, for he may be the next April Fool!

话说您在选举时，便声称“要独立”，台湾人民大部分反映的都很响！果不其然，在马英九退位后，您直接同日本、美国交好，决心脱离大陆。

但“台独”对您和台湾有什么好处呢？

在您胜任之前，台湾人民与大陆交往甚好，不少大陆人飞往台湾欣赏美景，也有不少台湾人在大陆落地生根安居乐业，您为何要打破这种平静美好呢？

当然，您会觉得您不是大陆人，而是台湾人，但是你不能连累整个台湾岛。

您难道没有发现美国、日本虽然和你有来往，但他们却没有和您走的太近吗？在他们眼中，您和台湾就一棋子，台湾根本不是大陆的对手。

没错，台湾是后来才回归大陆的，你们虽然一直不认为自己是中国人，要独立，但大陆却一直把你们当做自己人呐。

你再想想，台湾如果真的独立了，中国身为“世界第二大经济体”，你们的日子会好过吗？

但如果您和台湾回归大陆，大陆必定以礼相待。虽然在短时间内台湾民众会产生怨念，说你“骗了他们”，但日子长了，他们就会感受到这样做带来的好处。

两岸的关系更进一步，是台湾和大陆都希望看到的。

大陆和台湾就像兄弟一样，之间不应该有缝隙。

大陆和台湾就像母子一样，大陆张开双臂，如台湾想回到母亲的怀抱，大陆会立刻送上火热的胸怀，迎接台湾这个浪子迷途知返，扑入母亲怀中。

回来吧，台湾，蔡英文，你想想。

暑假刚开始，好朋友聪聪的妈妈与我妈妈早就约好了两家人要利用假期去云南游玩。这是我第一次坐飞机，内心充满了期待。

飞机上，我和聪聪在高一声低一声地拌嘴。

“哇！开始飞起喽，好高啊！”紧靠窗边的我兴奋的往外张望。

“让我看看。”聪聪紧挨着我坐，他侧着身子使劲往窗边探着头。

“不要不要，不让你看。”我故意拿话逗他，实际上却将窗户的位置让出来。

“呶，快看那里有只羊！”我指着一朵像极了小羊的白云对他说。

“你竟然敢骗我，看我不把你的头踢飞。”聪聪挥挥拳头大叫。

哈哈，可算把你骗住了。这时，我又想出了一个小游戏，于是对他说道：“要不我们来玩个游戏吧，看谁能赢。”

“什么游戏我都会玩，只管放马过来吧”聪聪得意的说。

“是吗，提醒你一下，那可不一定哦。”比赛开始了，我搬出语文课本里大家都知道的一个词语“春回大地”，他马上习惯性地接了下一句“万物复苏”。

“错！”我拿手臂在胸前比了一个大大的叉号。

“我哪里错了，课本上不就是这一句嘛”他不服气的叫道。

“应该接着往下说成语。比如地大物博。”我得意的对他说。

聪聪挠挠头，他这才明白，原来是要成语接龙啊！

这时候他提议换个游戏，于是我们就玩起了石头、剪刀、布，三局两胜，我又毫无悬念地赢了。

傍晚的太阳光穿过云层格外刺眼，于是我就把窗户上的帘子拉了下来。他看到我把窗帘拉下来后不乐意了，非要打开，我们再一次为了窗户吵起来了。最后还是坐在旁边的聪聪妈妈看不下去了，说公平起见，开一分钟关一分钟，我俩才不再争执。

就这样，伴着我俩一路的游戏和吵闹声，飞机降落到了云南。

下飞机的时候，我和聪聪一起高呼：云南——我们来啦！

Today if February 1st, and the winter holiday is coming soon. I am going to Beijing to spend my holiday.

Wea ll know there are many places of interest in the capital. I want to visit the Palace Museum, the Summer Palace, the Great Wall and the World Park. The Olympic Games will be held in Beijing in 2008. I want to see the great changes in Beijing. And Ill remember to est Beijing Roast Duck.

Ill stay here for half a month.
