对于中国考生来说，英文写作一直是最为头疼的事情之一。那么考生为什么会畏惧英文表达呢？为什么有些考生背了一两万个单词却仍然写不出好的文章呢？找到了这一系列问题的答案，就真正抓住了提高写作能力的关键。

英文写作困境可以归纳为三类：

困境1：面对一个题目，根本无话可说，即便用中文，也写不出内容。

困境2：有话可说，有内容可写，但英文表达支离破碎，完全不能用英文阐释清楚自己的观点。

困境3：有话说，也能用英文表达出要表达的意思，但写出来的语言“满篇尽带Chinglish（中式英语）”。

那么该如何走出困境，真正并有针对性地提高语言表达能力呢？答案很简单，只有两个字——素材！

面对一个话题，考生之所以无法写出连贯的文字，是因为缺少写作素材。那么素材是什么呢？其实也就是我们所说的“言之有物”中的“物”。无论是四、六级写作，还是考研写作，或是雅思、托福、GRE、GMAT、SAT写作，考生之所以无法取得高分，根本原因在于其日常积累的英文论证素材以及论据素材过于贫乏，根本无法将零星散落于大脑各个角落不成体系的素材组合起来，形成一篇逻辑严密、语言优美地道的文章。因此，英文素材的积累和素材库的建立可以真正帮助中国英语学习者和广大英语考生提高写作能力，走出英文表达困境。

正如前面所提到的，英语写作素材包含两类：一类是论证素材，即对于论点进行理论分析的素材。例如：论证竞争机制的重要性、论证环境保护的必要性、论证艺术的价值等。一类是论据素材，即可支持论点的相关事例。例如：“钻石教父”雷维夫与DeBeers公司的竞争促进了整个钻石行业的发展这一事例，可用来支持“竞争机制的重要性”的论证；引用美国政府参与环境保护的例子可佐证“环境保护的必要性”；贝多芬、巴赫、凡高的例子可说明伟大的艺术家们的艺术作品是如何推动人类文明发展的，并用以例证“艺术的价值”。

其实，只要多掌握适用于写作测试的英文写作素材（论证素材+论据素材），就已经为写出有理有据的文章打下了良好的基础，这也是写作的前提。因为，任何语言学习，或者说任何学习过程，都遵循“输入—输出”模式。如果没有输入，则永远不可能有输出；若没有好的输入，则永远不可能有好的输出。因此，语言学习有一条永恒不变的真理：不听永远不会说，不读永远不会写。这里的“听”和“读”就是输入环节，“说”和“写”就是输出环节；只有输入了好的英文素材，才能在需要的地方进行输出。

我最高兴的事情是第一次坐飞机。今年暑假，爸爸、妈妈带我去大连度假，听到这个消息我开心极了。来到机场，我们通过安检来到候机室，透过明亮的玻璃窗看见了飞机像铁鸟，静静地等候着我们，我高兴得跳起来了。

先开始拼，可我要么将这个人的脑袋装到另一个人身上;要么将这个人的手和其他好几个人的手混在一起……我一会儿要拔出来，一会儿又要塞进去。两只手好几根手指被冻得通红，疼得我用冷水使劲冲。接着拼飞机的主体，看着说明书上写着“4×4”，“5×6”“12×8”的长方形和正方形，仅仅二年级的我却啥也不知，只好一个个地去数，那些复杂的零件仿佛像绊脚石一般，阻碍着我前进的道路。

正当我拼到一半时，发现有一个零件怎么也拼不上去。我仔仔细细，目不转睛地将说明书看了好几遍，发现，第一步我便拼反了，我将飞机的主体拆开，又从头开始拼。好几次零件没有找到时，我便提心吊胆到处找。找到了，便长舒一口气;假若没找到，大脑里便一片空白，两只手随意乱翻着，不知所措。

就这样，在经历了“一百一百一万”难之后，我终于---拼好了。望着几周前便开始拼的飞机，我竟一脸茫然，十根手指都很酸痛，还贴着好几个创口贴，几千个零件所构成的飞机，横空出世了。

他成了我们家的亮点，每当有客人光临时，总会对他它赞不绝口。整整四年了，曾经威武的它已破旧不堪，多处零件都快掉了。身上的贴纸也已经开始发黄，它早已被我其他的“成就”所替代。

那天晚上，风吹来，飞机横飞了出去，滑落在了地上---碎了。说明书找不到了，我也无法根据记忆远复原它，但它在我心中依然挺立。

每天早晨，太阳刚从东方一露脸，小飞机就从航空港起飞了。她整天辛勤劳动，把旅客们运往各城市。她飞得不高，也没有现代化大型客机快，就这样，去坐她旅行的乘客逐渐少了。有一次小飞机等了一整天竟没有一个乘客。到傍晚时，她被拉到机场的最边沿儿。

过了一个多小时，我们终于到了温州飞机场。我在想像着飞机有多大，飞得有多高，有多漂亮。我好期待坐飞机哟！

等了40多分钟，我拿到了飞机票和机建税，就要上飞机了。飞机就在对面，不要5分钟就可以走到，却还要坐登机车过去。我觉得很奇怪，就问爸爸。爸爸笑着对我说：“这样很安全！”我听了，似懂非懂地点了点头。
