窗外的天气，像我的心一样忐忑不定，考试结果出来了，考得很差，尤其是语文，作文烂到了极点，我与考试的竞争，我输了，输得一败涂地，以至于上课我都不敢正视老师的眼睛，因为我知道，里面肯定是失望和惋惜。偶尔的与老师对视了一眼，都感觉自己的心跳在加速，我在羞愧。老师下课对我说“来我办公室一趟。”我的心里咯噔一下，我木纳的跟在老师身后，到了办公室门口，我正犹豫着要不要进去，老师说了一句“进来吧。”

我慢吞吞的走到了老师身旁，我刚想说话老师却先开了口“你的成绩有些差。”我羞愧的点点了头，老师边跟我讲话边翻出一堆试卷，“找找你的试卷吧。我想和你谈谈关于你的成绩的事。”我的心里咯噔一下，老师居然用了‘谈谈’这个词，在我心里，老师永远是可怕的，我一直把我自己当做一个学生，居于老师之下，我从来没有想过和老师谈谈，只有老师在批评我，但是我还是翻了翻那一堆试卷，便看见了我的试卷，“你看你的作文，其实写的也不错，就是就是一些小毛病，但是小毛病日积月累就会成为大病，你看，这个‘的’应该是这个‘得’……”讲到最后，老师说了一句“以后有不懂的地方记得来找我，你先去上课吧，记住了，明天永远是美好的。”说完对我笑了一下，我的心跳停止在这个笑上，在我的记忆里，老师从来没有笑过，只是永远板着一张严肃的脸，现在一看，老师笑起来原来这么美，我居然一直没有发觉，我情不自禁低头对老师说“老师对不起，其实我的成绩差也是因为我没有好好复习，我最近总是偷懒。”说完之后还看了老师一眼，老师却没有抬头，可能是没有听到我的话吧，我慢吞吞的走向办公室门口，回头看看了老师忙碌的背影。

走出办公室，微微的凉风吹来，吹去了我心头的燥热，是啊，冰冻三尺非一日之寒，名落孙山非一时之懒，如果我之前好好的复习，成绩也不会这么差了，不过，不用担心，因为这些我会改的，明天永远是美好的!

初一的第一节英语课，门口进来一位中等个子，长头发的女青年。上下一打量，20岁左右，个头小于等于1米6。这大概就是我们的英语老师吧!此人发话了：“丑话说在前面，我脾气不好!”一句话着实把我们全班都镇住了。第一印象：凶!

可是时间久了却发现，实际上并不是她自己说的那样，也不是我们以为的那样。

她教英语，时不时地用上几句“现代用语”。虽然平常我们也经常说，但是从一个老师嘴里说出来，难免会有些稀奇，距离感一下子就消失了，亲切感一下子就增进了!比如她反复要强调的东西，她会说：“都强调了10遍了”，这还没什么，到后来演变成100遍、N遍;最后递进到N+1遍。她给我们的第一印象便彻底被抹杀掉了。

正想着，忽然发现英语老师也站在讲台上。过了一会儿，她说：“其实今天的事我也有责任。我来晚了。可是大家真的很乱，从四个班走过来，最乱的就是咱们班了……我也陪你们站，大家谁都别坐了，好吗?”她严肃的表情上找不到任何的虚伪，我们都为之感动，就差鼓掌了。结果那个晚上，她真的一边站着一边看书，根本没坐下过。我们谁也没好意思偷懒，就凭她那晚的那番话和行为，我们愿意站十个晚上来奉还。

The Spring Festival in my hometown almost from the year began, until the end of fifteen. Although there is only a short time to come to the sky, but every day is lively and festive.

The second day of the Spring Festival is to open the firecrackers to greet the blessing of the new year. The first thing for our children is to replace the new clothes for the parents, the elders have a new year. The following is the red bag. The Spring Festival this day most of the shops are closed, until the beginning of the six month is opened. On this day, the great people said that they could not sweep the ground, so that they would not sweep away their blessings. Many people have gone to the streets to buy gifts and send relatives and visit the year.

Today，pollution has become a serious problem to us. It means that the air，seas，rivers and land are polluted by waste or poisonous things.

It does harm not only to human beings but also to animals .

We cannot have fresh air because many factories have the poisonous smoke sent into the air. Beautiful parks are made dirty by plastic tins and bags.

Fish die from the polluted water. It is said that strange diseases have appeared in some places because of pollution.

I hope scientists can find ways to solve the serious problem.

We are looking forward to seeing the clear sky，clean rivers and beautiful parks again.

I Like Basketball

My favorite Sports is basketball. It looks so cool in TV that I was crazy about those basketball stars ever since I was little.

Basketball requires speed, height and skills. I run, jump, switch, and try to hit! All parts of my body are exercised in this sport. I feel that I’m like wind flying in the playground for my goal, which makes me feel so GREat!

Basketball needs quick reaction and decision. When chance comes, it may disappear in the next second. I should keep an eye watching as an eagle, decide and judge quickly as a leopard, and run for it as a wolf.

Further more, basketball is a sports more than just exercising, It needs team work. No one can play himself. A team should work together. So I learn to cooperate with others in this game. I should understand what my teammate doing and what he needs me to do for him. On the other side, I should learn to show my teammate what I need. At the same time, I need to keep an eye on the whole game, knowing how is the situation of our team and how is the other team. It involved more cooperation and strategy.

I played basketball more for about 5 years now. I make many good friends throught this sports. It is proud to win honor for my team and my school. Also I enjoy all games with my friends. Basketball will be my best friends in the future and my best memory about school life.

After a long cold winter when I have rarely been out on my bike, the weather has finally turned warmer and even sunny occasionally. Yesterday I had a surprise call from Tom suggesting we turn out for a short ride. This being my intention anyway I gladly agreed and we met up at Jiedaokou Station at about ten o’clock.

As Tom has a permanent Sunday Lunch appointment at 12-30pm we opted to make a round trip to Hannan . The weather was cloudy but dry and as we were both a bit out of condition after a long winter lay off we took the easy option of taking the train to Shiyan to get us on top of the ridge with an easy start for the trip.

A long coast down to Jiangtan and straight on to Mount End saw us climbing up to Zhongshan Park. The climb got stiffer but still Tom kept on riding. Gritting my teeth I followed on and crested the hill, Then the usual Essex switchback with an enforced short walk for both of us part way along saw us at Tawny common. Round the common we went, to the Mole Trap, an erstwhile rough old country pub now tarted up for the motorists. I don’t go in there any more, so we sat on the adjacent public seat for a while and a short natter.

Time enough to break away, Tom to his lunch appointment, me for home by way of theYellow Crane Tower and Changjiang Bridge. See you in a while, crocodile! I arrived home about 2 o’clock. Just in time for my own Sunday lunch .
