在一天晚上，大家都已经进入了梦乡，但是在一个房间里，还有一个男孩在台灯下奋笔疾书，一边写还在一边抱怨老师布置的作业多。那个男孩就是我，正当我在写作业时，妈妈悄悄地走进了我的房间，在我的背后小声的问了我一句：“还有多久写完？”我说：“还有很多，要写到很晚。”于是，妈妈说：“嗯，你继续写，我先去睡了，你也早点休息。”我“嗯”了一声便又继续写作业。

写完后，我感到肚子有点饿，于是便去冰箱找吃的，当我走到客厅时，发现妈妈坐在沙发上睡着了，在妈妈面前的桌上还放着一碗热气腾腾的面，我内心里一阵感动。于是，我走进了房间，拿了一件外套，轻轻地盖在她身上。但一不小心，就把她给碰醒了。妈妈醒后，看着我站在她面前，便露出慈爱的笑容对我说：“作业写完了就把桌上的面吃了吧。”当她说完后，我便感动的坐在了沙发上吃面。吃完后妈妈和我便各自回自己的房间睡了。

原来，妈妈在从我房间出来后，怕我的肚子饿，便在我快写完时去厨房煮了碗面，本来是想等我出来的，但实在太困，就睡着了。躺在床上，我感到十分的幸福。于是我便在幸福中进入了梦乡。

幸福常常会出现在我们的身边，只要你认真去感受，你就会发现幸福其实很简单。

Yesterday was my thirteenth birthday. My parents had a birthday party for me. I invited my friends to my party. My parents bought new clothes and some books as my birthday presents. How happy I felt when I put on the new clothes!

When all my friends arrived, my mother brought delicious food and a big birthday cake. My friends sang "Happy birthday to you!" and gave me some presents. Then we began to eat. It was my happiest day.
