的确，这个学期很重要，因为这个学期是关系到我们今后生活的一个重要学期。如果这步没走好，那么很难走回来。因此，今天——开学的第一天，我决定给自己设一个新目标，从此奋发图强，努力学习!

This term I work very hard, so during the holiday, I want to have fun. My families will go back to the hometown. We will get together to celebrate the Spring Festival. I like families getting together and organizing various activities. It’s funny and warm. Of course, study can’t be ignored. After the festival, I will spend some time on my study. There will be exercises for the holiday. And I will do some reviews for next term. Math is my weakness, so I must work hard to improve it. This is my plan for winter holiday.

My name is Li Xing, a boy in fourteen years old. I come from Dalian, Liaoning Province, which is a beautiful and energetic city. Every year, thousands of tourists visit there. There are three people in my family, my parents and I. My parents are doctors who work in a big hospital in my city. I have many interests. Swimming, reading and movie are my favorites, which bring color to my busy study life. In study, I am good at Chinese and English, while math is my weakness. I work very hard to improve it, but it doesn’t work very well. Besides, I am easygoing and likely to make friends with others. Friendship is an important part of my life.

At the beginning of this term, I made a plan for my study. Now, I find that I carry it out well in the past month. I was poor in Chinese and English last semester. Therefore, I put the two subjects in the priority and I spent much time on them. Happily, I made progress in the two subjects this semester. Besides, math and physics is not so hard for me, but I must do many exercises to improve my knowledge. Half of an hour for each is necessary and I have always been doing so. The other subjects are easy for me. As long as I carefully listen to the teacher in the class and do some reviews, I can do well in them. While, it does not mean that I attach no importance to them. I make plan for my study to ensure the efficiency of my study.

开学之初，我给我的的学习制定了一个计划。现在，我发现在过去的一个月我能够很好的实行。上个学期我的语文和英语很差，因此我把这两个科目作为我的首要任务并花很多时间在上面。很高兴的是，这学期我这两科取得了进步。此外，数学和物理对我来说不是很难，但是我必须多做练习来增加我的知识。每个科目花上半个小时是有必要的，我一直都是这样做的。其他的科目对我来说很容桂。只要我课堂上认真听课，课后复习我就能够把它们做好。但是，这也不意味着我不重视它们。我给我的学习制定计划以保证我的学习效率。

Water is the source of life.We cant live without water.However,with the

increasing population and industrial development,water pollution has become a

serious problem.Large amounts of wastewater go into rivers and seas directly

without being treated,which can be dangerous to people.Also lots of people pay

no attention to saving water in daily life,while in some place water is badly

needed.

Its time for us to take some measures to improve the situation.Factories

should treat the wastewater before letting it go into rivers.We can play a

positive role in saving water.For example we can reuse the water for wishing

rice to wash vegetables and then clean a mop.

选择是重要的。命运不是机遇，而是选择。

一个人没日没夜的学习学习，可是那是死学，就像“愚孝”一样，没有找到适合自己的学习方法，好似无头苍蝇似的转来转去。我身边有很多这样的人，他们自认为肩负着家族的使命，认为除了高考没有什么能够改变现状。在学习上昏天黑地，剩下的别无所求。从某种角度来说我对于这种人嗤之以鼻，也许是我想得过多。但是，在我看来选择大于努力！

为什么我这样说，人都有自己的世界观和认识论。好比你在一个交叉路口，你得先选择好路才能赶路吧。赶路好比努力，如果你选择的路通往的不是你要达到的地方，那么你在这条路上再怎么日夜兼程，但是只能是南辕北辙，离你要走的地方越走越远。要知道，你的每一个选择，决定的是你今后人生的走向。

没有风帆的船，只能随波逐流。选择好方向，再去起航，选择好路线，再去跟风雨搏斗。

当初，我选择艺术，靠小文走大学。然而，现在我们班里学艺术的同学们都出去集训了，看着他们走，心里想的是：我若坚持到现在，本来也可以走了。心酸的感觉忽然就涌现出来。我选择了不学艺术。我有怨无悔。我知道我自己想要的是什么。我会发挥百分之二百的努力，因为我不迷茫。我们都一样，要明白自己到底要为什么而努力。做好自己的选择很重要！

鲁迅弃医从文，这也是他的选择。他为了国家，为了人民，毅然决然的走向文学。大丈夫相时而，“弃医从文”是他做出的明智的选择。爱迪生在失败多次之后，依旧选择再次尝试，结果成功了，给人类造福无限。牛顿在被苹果砸了之后发现了万有引力。当初，我国正确的看好形势，选择了“农村包围城市”的道路，走上了一个新阶段。如此多的事例，都在向你我阐述一个定论：选择大于努力。

人生不可能没有选择，不可能缺少选择，你的一个动作，一个眼神，说不定就会改变事物原本的面目，还有，努力是成功的必需品。但是要知道努力得具有针对性。我们要努力，要朝着自己选择的目标努力。只有正确的选择了，我们才可以更好的努力。我们今天的结果，来自于你昨天的选择，同样，你今天的选择，也必将导致你明天的结果。所以，你的未来看你的。
