To feed our rapidly expanding population, agriculture will have to be intensified. This will involve ever increasing quantities of agriculture chemicals. From this, it is apparent that drastic steps must be taken immediately to develop corrective measures for the pollution problems.

There are two ways by which these pollution problems can be lessened. The first relates to the treatment of wastes to decrease their pollution hazard. This involves the processing of solid wastes "prior to" disposal and the treatment of liquid wastes to permit the reuse to the water or best reduce pollution upon final disposal. The second approach is to develop an economic use for all or part of the wastes. Farm manure is spread in fields as a nutrient. Wastes from sewage disposal plants are used in some areas both for irrigation and for the nutrients contained. Liquid wastes from other processing plants may also be used as a supplemental source of water. Only by doing these promptly now can we expect to solve the serious water problems in the future.

为了提高自身的英语教学质量和效率,我从学校图书馆借来《英语教学方法与策略》一书,利用业余时间认真地进行了研读,获得了不少教益。

这本书由鲁子问和康淑敏两位专家编写,由华东师范大学出版社出版,可以作为英语教学设计方向研究生教材,也可以作为中小学英语教师设计培训教材使用。我认为在英语学科骨干教师研修班接受培训期间读读这样一本书是再合适不过的。这本书介绍了教学方法与教学策略的相同与差异,提出了教学方法与策略的选择与整合的方法,介绍了英语教学方法的实践操作方法,包括情景教学法、交际教学法、任务教学法和自主学习教学,然后分析了英语教学过程的策略及实践操作方法,并从英语知识教学的策略及实践操作方法、英语技能教学的策略及时间操作方法两方面对英语教学方法与策略的行动研究提供了系统的指导。

这本书让我羞愧于自己在教学理论和策略方面知识的匮乏,更让我明白英语教学的成功应体现在“培养学习者在真实的情景中有效使用英语的能力”我是一个率性而为的人,很多时候只是随心而教学,不会严格遵循某一教学模式。所以一直以来,教学成绩都没有取得重大突破,而我本人也一直为此烦恼,这本书教会我许多有理论支持的教学方法。如:语法翻译法、直接教学法、认知法、自然法、社团教学法、沉默教学法、全身反应法、暗示教学法。从书中我悟到了想成为一名优秀的教师必须充分认识到“教必有法”的原则性和“教务定法”的灵活性特点之间的统一关系。教师不应拘于一法一策,囿于一方一圆,而是要因地制宜,因材施教,将各类方法加以组合和调配,在吸收、借鉴已有教学方法的基础上,创造性地发挥,逐步形成富有教师个人特色的教学风格。在教学实践中,我根据教学环境、教学目标、教学内容、学生的需求和自身的教学风格适丰富了一下教学方法和策略,收到了一定的效果。

记叙文是以写人、记事、状物为主要内容，以叙述和描写为表达方式的文章。

以写人为主的记叙文，应该注意肖像描写、行动描写、语言描写、心理描写以及对细节的描写，考生应根据写作的要求，灵活掌握，突出重点。

记叙文是高考书面表达中比较常用的一种形式。

1)记叙文要写作者比较了解的人或事物。

2)仔细审题，看准题目要求，确定文章的主题。文章的内容、结构、层次及所用语言都应围绕主题进行。

3)具体详细地描述。要使文章有说服力，叙述就必须繁简疏密相间。详细具体的描写有助于读者对所叙述的人物或事件等有个深刻的印象。

4)写作时要避免句子单调、毫无花样。这就要求写作时长短句结合，注意衔接词的运用。

规避：要加强审题训练，针对题目"辨字析词"，盯准"题眼"，尤其对于哲理性命题，涉及辩证关系的，更要深入分析题目的深刻内涵，有关联词的，必须审核其内部逻辑联系。审题越细、越准、越透，立意的思路就越宽、越深、越广。

3、入题——千呼万唤

考场作文因字数、时间的限制，不可能写得太多，但有相当多的考生往往出现"入题慢"的弊病，废话很多，以一当十的内容却千呼万唤不出来。引用原材料或可有可无的内容占去了很大的篇幅，重点部分无法展开。

有的考生写作文，从头到尾没有出现文题、文题的关键词或与话题相近的表述，犯了扣题不紧的错误，看不出是就所给特定"文题"或是"材料作文"而写的文章，这样得分自然不会理想。

规避：在行文时牢记“作文评分标准”中对作文扣题一项的具体要求，依照标准去做，回想老师的相关叮嘱及传授的方法。

5、立意——平庸病态

见解独到、构思新巧、主旨积极的文章无疑是任何人都梦寐以求的。可惜的是，在考场上有的学生为了追求所谓的标新立异，甚至写出了令人匪夷所思的文章。如有的学生在《只是因为那条路》中这样写："只是因为走上了这样的一条邪路……"由于思想格调不高，不符合考场作文"思想健康"的要求，降低了作文品位。

规避：树立正确的人生观、世界观、价值观，突破定向思维、线性思维，走向逆向思维、发散思维，视角独特，出人意料又在情理之中。

6、选材——陈旧苍白

有的学生作文材料陈旧苍白，缺乏厚重感。要么记叙一件事，有骨架没血肉;要么议论一个道理，观点+例子+结论，缺分析少论证;要么连例子都没有，翻来覆去，空谈漫议，写到哪儿算哪儿，凑够字数为原则。

规避：积累材料。一是在初三这段时间里继续收集鲜活的材料，并选记一些名言警句;二是把长期以来的"库存"分门别类筛选一下，选择出可供用于写作的精品材料列出提纲。

7、语言——艰涩难懂
