我们走进光荣院的大楼，在那位在这里工作的阿姨的指引下，我们看望了一位位老人，并送上了慰问礼品。我们又来到另一个爷爷的房间里。这个爷爷是个退伍军人，身穿一身军绿色的衣裳，干净利落的短发显得精神十足，虽然年龄很大了，但那身躯依然挺拔，尽显军人的风姿。爷爷还很和蔼，和我们很谈得来。在与爷爷的交谈中，我们得知爷爷虽然没有参加过什么战争，但参加了那次新疆核试验的大爆炸。顿时心中油然升起一股敬佩之意。那位爷爷还说让我们好好读书，长大之后成为建设祖国的栋梁之才。我们连声答应道。

在与这些老人合影留念并告别后，我们离开了敬老院。在回家的路上，我想了许多，从那时起，我便树立了以那些老人为榜样，报效国家的理想。

走进金缘堂的大门，一股书香味扑面而来。这里，会集了黄宾虹、张大千、沙孟海、程十发、蒲华等近现代大师和蔡元培、梁启超、黄兴等众多文化名人作品60余幅，听说这可是嘉兴有史以来规格 的名家书画展了。

这次参观让我增长了许多书画方面的知识，了解了许多书画界的名人，我对书画更加感兴趣了！

Yesterday was Jacks shopping day. He went shopping with his mother.

They went to the Happy Shop . They bought some pieces of candy. They are 4

Mr. Chens Store .They bought a bottle of shampoo and a pair of socks at Uncle

寒假里，我最大的收获就是学会了炒“盐水花生”。

那天是星期六，工作了一周的母亲一定很辛苦，好不容易有个双休日，应该让她好好歇歇。于是，我对母亲说：“今天的菜我来做，就炒‘盐水花生’吧!”母亲说：“你就试试吧!”

我把一勺盐放入一小半碗水里，用筷子搅拌均匀，让盐融化在水里。我把调好了的盐水放到一边。又把一碟花生米放入锅里，然后把锅放到液化气灶上，打开电子开关，顿时从小孔里窜出蓝莹莹的火，那火苗在锅底周围不停地跳跃。我炒了一会儿，哎呀，不好了，有几粒花生冒烟了，眼看就要糊了。情急之中我想起了母亲每次炒花生时，都点小火，我怎么点这么大的火呀!我马上把火调小了。我又炒了几下，想：是不是该放盐了?我尝了一粒花生，感觉还不行。过了一会儿，我又尝了一粒，又觉得还不到时候。就这样，我一边炒，一边尝，尝得我都分不清是生的还是熟的了。唉，还是搬救兵吧。于是，我把母亲叫来，母亲笑着说：“你太心急了炒‘盐水花生’要有耐心，要等到花生变成红黄色，发出香味时再放盐水。”于是，我又开始炒起来，慢慢地发现花生渐渐变成了红黄色，我又尝了一粒，哇!真香啊。我把盐水倒进锅里。“滋啦”一声，锅被一层白雾笼罩着。我又开始翻炒起来。过了一会儿，红色的花生穿上了一件银白色的外套。我想：花生一定好了。我把花生盛到盘子里。

这时，母亲过来了，母亲尝了一粒我炒的花生，说：“第一次就炒这么好，不错，不错。”我也尝了一粒，那花生又脆，又香，又有些咸味，好吃极了。第一次炒“盐水花生”我成功了!

On Monday I went to school for the second learning. The weather was still very hot. But I was ready to face with my lessons.
