Instant Noodles

Two years ago, I like to eat instant noodles very much, the instant noodles smell so delicious, because there are tasty flavor in it. When my mother was not at home, I would buy the instant noodles, as the time went by, I found my skin became bad and I would not like to eat rice. I felt so bad, my mother told me that I should not eat so much instant noodles, they contained no vitamins and also frustrated my appetite. Every year on October 4th is the World Animal Day. It is proposed by the

Italian monk St Francis in 12th century. He lives in the forests of Assisi

Island for the long time, building a good relationship with the animals. So he

asks people to express thanks to the animals on October 4th. He sets a good

example for our human beings about how to deal with the relationship with

animals. In order to memorize him and what he does, we make October, 4th to be

World Animal Day. Nowadays, people from all over the world will hold various

activities to celebrate on that day. The aim of this festival is to remind

people to care for all animals and build a harmonious relationship with

This is the first diary I’m writing in the youth summer camp.

Everything is new to me, new class, new teachers and new classmates. My

classmates are all good students and they can speak English well. I think I can

learn a lot from them, and I can make friends with them.

The teacher from china is full of emotion when giving a class. And her

class is very interesting. To my surprise our foreign teacher can speak chinese

very well, but in my opinion, her class is a little boring. She should have made

the class more active.

Compared to my school, Zhejiang University seems so big that it takes us a

few minutes to commute between the classroom and cafeteria.

今天，我终于读完了中国四大名著之一《西游记》!这是一本令人称赞的神魔小说，讲述了唐僧师徒四人西天取经的故事。故事情节生动，跌宕起伏，是一本老少皆宜的著作。

这本本书的主要内容是，唐僧和他的徒弟孙悟空，沙悟净，猪八戒一路上西天取经的故事。在取经途中经历了九九八十一难最后终于求得真经成为神仙，这是多么励志的一本书啊!

通过阅读，我发现这本书在人物的组合上很有玄机。为什么一定是孙悟空，猪八戒，沙悟净，唐玄奘一组呢?为什么一定是四个人呢?这就要从人物的性格和能力还有故事情节来看了。孙悟空，生性好动，性格脾气暴躁，本领高强，拥有翻江倒海之能。在故事当中，通常都是救世主般的角色。猪八戒，憨厚好吃，懒惰无比。但在必要的时候也能拿出本事。当然，他的本领远不及孙悟空。在故事中，总是好吃懒做，像个活宝。沙悟净为人勤劳诚恳。师徒四人的东西都是他来背。自从被收服之后，性格温和，从不发脾气，任劳任怨。在故事之中，通常十分保守。唐玄奘，一心向善向佛，却太容易轻信别人。给自己和土地带来过许多麻烦。但性格宽容仁慈，在故事中属于被保护的角色。这样四个性格毫不相同的人在一起会发生怎样的事呢?争吵，斗嘴，捉弄……这使故事变得更加有趣。为什么一定要是四个人一组呢?前面提到过，性格不同的人走在一起，才可以写出故事。如果太多性格不同的人在一起，那不就意见太多了吗?如果一个人两个人，怎么凑出更多的意见来把故事写的生动呢，所以，这本书的这个优点值得学习。

It was sunny today. I was excited. I got up at a quarter to seven. I made a appointment to meet at nine o’clock. After I had my breakfast, I went to the city center of Beijing. It was cold outside. When I arrived, my friends didn’t arrive. I waited for him in front of the KFC’s door. I haven’t seen them for a year. And in a year, we didn’t nete into contact with others frequently. i was depressed because i couldnt understand an english book after i bought it. i could understand nothing. i thought maybe i should study english hard and only by this could i learn a lot of knowledge and understand english aw well as communicate with others in english. i told myself, ‘just go’.

Some people think that keeping pets is a good thing. They say that it is an

hobby which should had. They also claim that pets make lives more colorful and

entertaining for both women and men.

有些人认为养宠物是一件美好的事情。他们说，(养宠物)是一个应该拥有的爱好。他们也声称养宠物可以使生活更加多彩，并给男人和女人带来更多趣味。

On the other hand, there are many people who say that pets should be

banned. They point out that pets are responsible for disease which hurt

property, and for injuries suffered both by the people who kept them and by

innocent other people. They also say that pets are a waste of money and

resources.

I have rested for a week。 I began to feel bored。 So I went out with my friends。 They are my best friends in the middle school。 We didn’t go to someplace special。 We just saw the other。 We had lunch together。 While we were having lunch， we were still talking about the new school and new friends。 Yes! This Saturday, I learned to ride a bike, and I thought to myself, "will I fall down?" Thinking, thinking, feeling anxious.

I started learning to ride, and I rode carefully, and in less than 10 minutes I was going to ride, and I said to myself, "Im great!" Now my heart is more solid.

I had a joyful summer vacation. During the holidays, I traveled with my

families. We went to Beijing and stayed there for four days. We lived in the

hotel. It is very beautiful. We visited to the Tiananmen Square, the Imperial

Palace, the Summer Palace and the Old Summer Palace. We also went to the Great

Wall. The weather was very hot, but we were exciting. I like Beijing very much.

I went to visit the Great Wall with my friends during the summer vacation.

We went there by bus. It took us about two hours to get there. It was hot and

windy that day. There were thousands of people. When we saw a group of

foreigners,we went up and talked with them. We told them lots of history of the

Great Wall. They were very surprised when they saw that our English were

exellent and we knew a lot about the Great Walls history. They thanked us a lot

and we really had a good time. We felt proud of ourselves and being Chinese.

The Dragon Boat Festival, also called Double FifthFestival, is celebrated

on May 5th on lunarcalendar.It is a folk festival widely spread with ahistory of

over 2,000 years, and is one of the mostimportant Chinese festivals as well.

There are variouscelebrating activities on that day, among which the customs of

eating rice dumplings anddragon boat racing are quite important.There are many

legends on the origin of the DragonBoat Festival.Some people think it is to

commemorate the poet Qu Yuan, while others say it isto be in honour of Wu Zi_u,

a famous general during the Warring States period. However, thelegend of Qu Yuan

spreads most widely. People appreciate highly the noble sentiment andprominent

talent of this patriotic poet and are very sympathetic with the ending that

hecommitted suicide by drowning himself in a river.

端午节(the Dragon Boat Festival)，又称重五节，于每年农历五月初五庆祝。

这是广泛流传2000多年的民间节日，也是中国最重要的节日之一。端午节当天举行各种庆祝活动，吃粽子和赛龙舟(dragon boat

racing)是其中的重要习俗。关于端午节的起源，有很多传说。一部分人认为端午节是为了纪念诗人屈原，另一部分人则认为是为了纪念战国时期的著名将领伍子胥。然而，屈原的传说流传最广。人们非常欣赏这位爱国诗人的高尚情操和出众才华，更对他投江自尽的结局深表同情。

盼啊，盼啊，终于盼到了年三十的晚上，家家户户喜气洋洋，大人们有的贴对联，有的挂灯笼……当然，孩子们还是最喜欢放烟花了。瞧，天空早就被这烟花装扮得五彩缤纷。

我们家也不例外，一吃好晚饭我就迫不及待地找来了我的儿童烟花。我先取出“荧光棒”，刚一点燃，“荧光棒”就火光四射，它像一个会变脸的大魔术师一样，红黄蓝绿交替出现，看得我眼花缭乱。接着爸爸捧来一个“花开富贵”的大型烟花，一点火，只听“嗖”的几声，一束束烟花像火箭似的飞上天空，又瞬间在空中开放。烟花有紫的、红的、粉的、黄的……就像是美丽的仙女在空中撒下五颜六色的花朵。我们兴奋不已，连声赞叹道：“太棒了!太壮观了!”

这时妈妈拿来了一个半圆形的小型烟花，对我说：“小龙，这个你放!”我听了心惊胆战，想：我可从来没有放过这种烟花，万一烟花溅到我身上可怎么办?!妈妈好像看出了我的心思，语重心长地对我说：“小龙，你不用害怕。看，这引线长着呢，点燃了就跑，烟花不会飞溅到你身上的。”听了妈妈的话，我鼓足了气，跑上前点燃了引线，只听“刺”的一声，引线冒出了火花，我赶紧跑了回去。随着“哗哗”几声，烟花喷出了色彩斑斓的火光，像是孔雀开屏，又像是火树银花。我乐得一蹦三尺高，喊道：“我也会放烟花了!我也会放烟花了!”

后来，我又放了几个小型烟花，妈妈夸我长大了，真勇敢，变成小男子汉了，我听了心里美滋滋的。

During the National Day, our family went to Yunfu Mountain Hot Springs.

To the hot springs, we swim for swimsuit. First of all we came to the childrens pool, where there are a lot of fun slides there are things, I did not even do not do the warm-up exercise could not help but jumped out of the pool, "wow, really comfortable." But the water there is too shallow , Do not move. Then we went to the fish treatment pool, I put the feet into, there are many small fish over my feet, very comfortable, but feel a little itch. I went to school at 8am today, my class - the afternoon session starts at

1.10pm, though. I went there early just because of my classmate _X (name), he

invited me to go school by bus with him. Ive never try taking a bus to go to

school, mom send me to school every day and it was a new experience for me this

morning. It was fun.
