while all canadians celebrate the return of the warm weather, there is another meaning to easter. christians rejoice2 because they believe that jesus christ rose from the dead on easter sunday three days after he was crucified(钉十字架上处死) on good friday. to celebrate the miracle3 of  resurrection(复活), they attend churches filled with candles and white lilies () on easter sunday. the lilies symbolize (象征) hope and rebirth. a lot of communities (社会) have easter parades (游行), some religious, others with brightly decorated floats(彩车), costumes4 and hats.

After they were colored and printed with various designs, the eggs were exchanged by lovers and romantic admirers. In the Middle Ages, eggs were traditionally given at Easter to the servants. In Germany, eggs were given to children along with other Easter gifts.

He has also hidden the eggs that they decorated earlier that week. Children hunt for the eggs all around the house. Neighborhoods and organizations hold Easter egg hunts, and the child who finds the most eggs wins a prize.    The Easter Bunny is a rabbit-spirit. Long ago, he was called the Easter Hare. Hares and rabbits have frequent multiple births so they became a symbol of fertility. The custom of an Easter egg hunt began because children believed that hares laid eggs in the grass. The Romans believed that All life comes from an egg. Christians consider eggs to be the seed of life and so they are symbolic of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

我的英语老师姓闫，叫继旭，是个帅气的中年男子。闫老师个子有一米七多，皮肤黑黑的，看起来很老实。他英俊的脸上总是挂着微笑，不过有时发火时就不是了。

闫老师是个十分幽默的人，给我留下印象最深的就是几星期前的那节英语课。

那时闫老师提问到了一位同学，但是那个同学没有听讲，不知道是哪个问题，也不会。就在这时，闫老师想到了一个绝妙的办法，想着，他笑着对那位同学说：“没事儿，坐下吧，不是你的问题，是脑子的问题，回家花三毛钱换一个脑子就行了！”

课还是接着上，一旦提问到了谁，但是站起来不说话的，老师就会笑着对他们说：“嘴巴忘记带了吗？现在可以回家拿的！”

闫老师幽默归幽默，搞笑归搞笑，他同时又是那么地关心自己的学生。

那天我们正在写书面作业，最后一排的李文婧只小声地说了一声自己头疼，然后用手按住头部，简直没有一点声响。可是闫老师竟然像雷达一样发现了这一小小举动。他就像看到自己的孩子生病一样，在瞬间跑了过去，问李文婧哪里不舒服，还拿着她的水杯，问她用不用去倒点热水。那时大约离下课还有十五分钟，可是单单这十几分钟，闫老师就去问候李文婧三十次之余。可见闫老师是多么地关心自己的学生啊！

妈妈瘦瘦的白白的，头发长长的，她穿上那件蓝色的背心显得特别精神。她不但是我的妈妈，还是我的知心朋友呢!我们还彼此给对方起了外号，妈妈叫“糊涂虫”，因为她有时候装糊涂，所以我就老喊她“糊涂虫”。妈妈就叫我“跟屁虫”，因为我老是喜欢跟在她的屁股后面。我每次弹钢琴的时候，她都会很认真地监督我，每次检查作业时，她都会仔细地检查，妈妈对我的学习要求非常严格。

我是家里最小的一员，而且也是最调皮的。吃饭像只“小老虎”，睡觉像只“小死狗”，玩起来就忘了回家，像只“野兔子”。虽然我有很多缺点，但我也有不少优点。我活泼开朗、待人热情，也像爸爸一样有爱心，喜欢帮助别人。
