劳动节起源于美国。19世纪80年代，美国资产阶级为了进行资本积累，对工人阶级进行残酷的剥削压榨，他们用各种手段，迫使工人每天从事长达12到16小时甚至更多时间的劳动。美国广大工人逐渐认识到，为了保障自己的权利，必须起来进行斗争。

The festival originated in the America. 新中国成立以后，中央人民政府政务院于1949年12月将5月1日定为法定的劳动节，是日全国放假一天。每年的这一天，举国欢庆，人们换上节日的盛装，兴高采烈地聚集在公园、剧院、广场，参加各种庆祝集会或文体娱乐活动，并对有突出贡献的劳动者进行表彰。

After the founding of new China, the Central Peoples Government in 1949 December in May 1st as a statutory labor day, is a day of national day holiday. Every year on this day, celebrating the country, people put on their holiday happily gathered in the park, theater, Plaza, celebrate the meetings or participate in various recreational activities, and the workers have made outstanding contributions for.

今天下午，爸爸给我买了一个新书包。它是粉色的，封面上有一个小女孩和一个小男孩在比赛跳绳。打开里面有大、中、小三层。漂亮极了!我轻轻地将书放进了新书包里。

开学了，我神气地走在上学的小路上。同学们看见了，都向我投来羡慕的目光，我心里像吃了蜜一样甜。可日子一长，我就开始对新书包厌烦了，总觉得别人的书包更好，有时竟然还把新书包当足球来踢。

一天，妈妈发现我踢书包了，很生气，但还是忍住了。温和地对我说:“月月，妈妈给你讲一个故事，好吗?’’“好呀!”我纳闷地说。于是，妈妈绘声绘色地讲起来：“古时候有一个孩子，很爱学习。有一天，他爸爸给她买了一个新书包，里面装着几本书，他看了一遍又一遍，书里的内容很精彩，然后她就想：肯定有书包就有书。于是，他非常爱惜自己的书包。几年过去了，他的书包还跟新的一样呢!”我听了以后，很惭愧，心想：牛子月呀牛子月，现在国家建设得这么好，你怎么还比不上一个古时候的孩子。我连忙对妈妈说：“对不起，妈妈，我错了。我不应该不爱惜自己的书包。”妈妈亲切的说：“没关系，宝贝，知错就改还是好孩子。”

从此，我又像刚买回来时那样喜欢自己的书包了。

Its polite to say “thank you” when others help us or say something kind to

us.

Being polite is a good tradition in our country.Nobody likes a person who

is impolite. Its important for us to be polite. We should say “thank you” to

parents when they cook for us. We should say “thank you” when they wash clothes

for us. We should also be polite at school. When the teachers help us work out

questions ,we should say “thank you” to them. When we get bad grades and the

teachers and classmates encourage us, we should say “thank you”. When someone

open the door for us,we should say “thank you”. We should say “thank you” as

often as possible.

If everyone is polite to others,the world will be more and more

beautiful.
