My mother always says that I am a naughty girl. When I go out with her, I

always make some mistakes. Such as annoying others when they are talking, which

is very impolite. My mother doesnt punish me, instead, she tries to disturb me

when I want to talk to her. It makes me realize how rude I am. My mother is so

tolerant that she is a good mother.

So many children take what their parents do for them for granted, they

haven’t realized the meaning of being grateful. So they always get angry with

a little girl went out of the house and refused to go home because her parents

Im a tall and lively boy. I like playing basketball very much because its

interesting. I like NBA, too. There are many famous stars in it. Such as Alan,

Iveson, Tim, Donken, Jordan, Kobe, ONeal and so on. Yao Ming is in the NBA,

too. Hes Chinese. He plays basketball well. Hes a center forward. Hes our

pride. All the ball stars can jump, shoot and pour in the basket. So each game

of the NBA is wonderful. Sometimes the players can perform miracles, I

think.

This years champion is Spur Team. It’s one of the strongest

contenders.

I like NBA. I love basketball.

Now, the robbers had a sick plan; and so they took their own gloves, and

put on a glass; after that the sun shone through it which made lots of flames in

the air like a whirl between the south, and the gate opened.

When the robbers escaped, they immediately ran to town; when everybody was

asleep, they crept quietly to Ali Baba’s house, and found some money. The

captain said, “He stole some; let us get him, for I am sure that he is the one

who had the idea!” and then they thought of a clever plan, but they did not know

that Ali Baba, was a thousand times more smart than either of the robbers.

And so once they crept in, they hid in one of the empty jars of oil and

stood there quietly, while the captain of the robbers went to Ali Baba’s room.

After he went in there, he grabbed his sword, and was just about to kill him

when Ali Baba quietly opened his eyes and saw him. He pretended to sleep. And

when the captain of the robbers was tired, he decided to have a rest, and rested

on the floor.

Ali Baba then got up and out a stuffed animal in there, and then got out of

bed and to the jars of oil. When he found out that in it were robbers, he began

to stamp his feet. “Is that you captain?” asked one of the robbers, “Can we come

out now?” “Yes Erik, you can come out,” but before Erik the robber lifted out

his head, Ali Baba grabbed a knife and killed Erik, and then tied the other jars

on his three mules; and threw them into the pond nearby. And so Ali Baba had

killed all of the robbers.

When morning came, the captain of the robbers woke up. When he found that

his other mates were gone, he ran away leaving his sword on the floor. With this

sword Ali Baba trained to be a knight and became richer as he grew older.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to apply for a British Council scholarship to study in Britain. I did my five years basic training in medicine at Shanghai University. After this I successfully completed a one-year postgraduate course in Ophthalmology at the Peoples General Hospital, where I am at present serving a two-year probation in the Eye Clinic.

As a result of the publication in 2003 of my article in New Scientist entitled "Soft and Rigid Contact Lenses ", which was based on a survey of 37 patients over 6 months, I made contact with Dr. Li Ming of the Capital Hospital and Dr. Ma Li of the University College Hospital. I have received their help and advice with my current research project, which is a two-year survey of the acceptance of various types of contact lenses in 200 patients.

Despite their help, I feel that I cannot make real progress in this field unless I can actually have day-to-day contact with these specialists. I would therefore like to continue my research at either the Capital Hospital or the UCH as soon as my probationary period here is completed, and I would like to study in Britain for two years.

I enclose a detailed curriculum vitae and an offprint of my article, together with two letters of recommendation from Dr. Li Ming and Dr. Ma Li.

My mom is about 45 years old.She has long hair and very big eyes. She is a

housewife. She always helps me with my homework before she cleans the house and

prepares dinner for my whole family. She is really a nice and kind mother.

My mom is always very reasonable. All she asks for is for me to complete my

schoolwork. If I get a good mark on my test,she will be very happy. If I dont

do well,she wont get angry. She will encourage me to do better next time.

I like reading books so much, especially the comic book. When I start

Today, when I walk on the street, I find the street is so beautiful. There

is some lovely pictures on the sidewalk, the picture of giraffe, panda and

monkey. When people see these lovely animals, they feel so good. I think it is

such a nice act to paint these pictures on the street, it makes this city look

beautiful.

I like rabbits. They are cute and beautiful. Their eyes are red and their

tails are short. They like eating carrots and vegetables . I have one at home .

It is in a small cage. I often play with it when I am free? ， but it does not

listen to me . It looks unhappy . I think it doesn’t like living in the small

cage . I think I will take it out to the field tomorrow. I will open the cage

and let it run and jump in the open air freely.

For some reasons, I never get up before nine oclock on Saturdays.

Sometimes I stay in bed until lunch time. Then Ill do some exercises, read

English, play computer games. In the afternoon, I go to school for writing and

playing table tennis. I play table tennis well. In the evening, I go to the

teachers home to play Chinese chess, I like it.

What an interesting day!
