在中国，每年春节的这段时间正是每家每户最热闹的时候。我家也不例外。

在除夕的前一天，我就帮着妈妈和外婆做除夕的准备：打扫卫生、接待客人、包饺子什么的。这些活儿虽然很累，但是做起来可好玩儿了，尤其是做饺子的时候。

那些色鲜味美的饺子一个个看似十分简单，其实做起来可复杂了哩。先要把之前预备好的面粉和水和在一起，使劲儿的揉、搓、压一番，然后用擀面杖把它们擀成一张张薄薄的饺子皮儿。我经过好一番努力，终于擀出了第一张自己做的饺子皮!我把它轻轻地摊在手上，生怕它一不小心破掉。饺子皮已经全部完工!现在应该开始好好地准备饺子的馅儿了。妈妈用菜刀麻溜地躲着肉末，外婆则在一旁洗着芹菜。我的任务呢，十八猪肉末和芹菜和在一起，做成猪肉芹菜馅。不一会儿的工夫，饺子馅儿也全部完工。剩下的工作就由那些经验丰富的舅妈们来完成，我们小孩子只等着第二天除夕品尝美味的饺子了!

终于到了期盼已久的除夕夜了!外婆家里聚满了亲朋好友，大家围在大圆桌四周，吃起了团圆饭和我们昨天包的饺子。男人们喝酒，女人们看春晚，小孩子们都吵着闹着要到院子里放鞭炮，真是热闹极了。

到了大年初一，由于昨夜守岁的原因，我整个上午都赖在床上睡着懒觉，心里还想着昨晚和小伙伴们打闹的情景。

这真是一个充满传统文化气息的十分快乐的除夕夜!

英语，是全世界通用的语言，只要你会说英语，不管走到哪里，就都不用担心受怕了。

我喜欢英语这门学科。最早接触英语的时候是小学三年级，当时学校对这门新开设的功课虽然比较重视，但没有安排单元检测，所以大家上英语课都比较散漫，整个课堂都闹哄哄的，而且我们的老师水平似乎也不高。那个时候，我对英语并不感兴趣。

直到五年级，我们换了一个英语老师，这个新老师长得很漂亮，英语说得很好，我很喜欢她。刚开始，我是因为她的美貌，想让她注意我，才在课堂上认真听讲的。后来，我学进去之后，才发现英语很有意思，也很“好学”，因此，我对英语产生来浓厚的兴趣。

有一回，我在超市买东西，偶然地看到了一个外国人，因为在那之前我从未看到过外国人，所以对她很好奇。金黄色的长发，棕色的眼睛，高挺的鼻子，简直是深深地迷住了我。我那时就一直看着她，当然，我知道这样是很不礼貌的，可是我就是对她充满了好奇心。我很想走过去和她说几句话，可是我又不敢。后来，她好像注意到了我，对我笑了一笑。她这一笑简直是让我欣喜若狂，在那一刻，我就下定决心一定要学好英语，一定要能和外国人流利地交谈。

从此我就经常去找英语老师，向老师了解一些关于外国和英语有关的事。

现在初中了，我还是对英语有浓厚的兴趣。黄老师很亲切，每次看到她，就像是看到老熟人一样。我很喜欢上她的课，有时我都巴不得一整天都上英语课。英语课很轻松，几乎都是洋溢着笑声的。黄老师还能说一口流利的英文，可以完全听懂老外的话，也可以流利地和老外交流，这一点，我特别羡慕黄老师。她是我的偶像，是我的榜样，我要像她看齐（虽然她是我的老师）。

班上很多人觉得我上英语课和外教可很激动，确实，我承认，但这也是我喜欢英语的一种方式。我对英语有一种莫名的喜欢，看到老外，我就像是吃了兴奋一样，就算原本不高兴也会变得很高兴。

上外教课时，我会很认真地听讲，虽然有很多听不懂，老外抽问时，我也都会积极地举手发言，哪怕是回答不了。我也不会觉得丢脸，因为我站起来回答问题，也是给自己的一次锻炼机会，同时也和老外多接触了一次，所以，哪怕是回答不了问题，我也是很开心的。

这个暑假我去看了上海的世博会，我在世博园里大开了眼界，里面有好多的外国人。每看到外国人我都会主动上去邀请他们和我一起拍照。刚开始和老外交流时，我有些害怕，怕自己说不好英语，但是那些热情的外国人个给予了我勇气，让我敢于大声发出邀请，“Can you teke photos with me？”（你能和我一起拍照吗？）当然，在和外国人交涉的时候我也碰过壁，那是在地铁站里，我看到一个外国人，我很开心地看来他一眼，可他却皱着眉头，用不标准的普通话说“不要看我。”这句话让当时的我很是尴尬，因为我从未碰到过这种状况，这次的事，让我注意起对待老外的应有礼节，但这并不影响我对英语的热爱。

从小学到现在，我对英语的热爱是越来越深。
