I have a good friend. Her name is Betty. She a lovely girl. She is 14 years old . I`m one year older than her. Her eyes are bigger than mine. Her hair is black and long. My hair is longer than hers. Betty is 156 centimeters tall. Im two centimeters taller than her. She is about 40 kilos. Im 50 kilos. So she is thinner than me. Betty is a beautiful and helpful girl. She does better in English than me. She often helps me with my English. She has a lot of hobbies. She likes dancing very much. She wants to be a dancer one day. She dances beautifully. I can learn a lot from her. I think well be good friends forever.

grace is one of my classmates. she is not good at study, though she usually works very hard. maybe she just doesn’t find the learning method suitable for her. in my mind, she is clever. thongh she is not good at study, she is popular in our class. in all people’s mind, she is kind and optimistic. treating everyone as friend, she has no enemy. as she doesn’t study well, it is hard to avoid feeling sad. however, everytime she just feels sad for a while and then recovers for the first one. sometimes it is her who comforts us for not for not doing well in the exam. look, she is so cute!

我生活在素有“泉城”、“泉都”之称的山东省省会城市――济南。

济南清甜的泉水还以质纯著称。泉水来自岩层深处，受气温影响甚微，水温比较稳定，常年保持在17～18摄氏度，无色无味，清冽甘美，为优质饮料。众多清冽甘美的泉水，从城市地下涌出，汇为河流、湖泊。盛水时节，在泉涌密集区，呈现出“家家泉水，户户垂杨”、“清泉石上流”的绮丽风光。早在宋代，文学家曾巩就评价道：“齐多甘泉，冠于天下。”元代地理学家于钦亦称赞说：“济南山水甲齐鲁，泉甲天下。”可最近几年，由于气候干旱和人们节水意识淡薄，不少泉眼没有了当年的气势了。我们济南人可急坏了。

2013年是不寻常的一年，趵突泉复喷了，停喷了三年的趵突泉终于复喷了！趵突泉则为济南72名泉之冠，被誉为“天下第一泉”。泉眼昼夜喷涌，浪花飞溅，势如鼎沸。趵突泉的复喷，为济南挽回了“泉城”这一美誉，这是因为济南关闭了所有的自备井，并且经过了大家的不懈努力，节约用水，才使趵突泉水位不断不涨，最后复喷。但是近年大家“因胜而骄”，越来越不注意保护泉水，导致趵突泉水位再次下降，并有停喷的可能。若不是夏季暴雨连绵，恐怕早就……。

作为一名济南本地人，我们不能让济南成为名不符实的“泉城”，我们也不能让后代子孙只能从资料上了解“泉城”，要让他们亲眼目睹“泉城”的芳容，这是我们每个公民的责任。

所以保护泉水，从我做起。在平时的日常生活中，节约用水。平时洗手洗脸用水时，把水开小点，最好用感应的水笼头。洗手正确步骤：开小水沾湿手→关闭水龙头→涂抹肥皂→双手搓揉→开小水冲洗→关闭水龙头。小件、小量衣物提倡手洗，可节约大量水；用洗菜水、洗衣水、洗碗水及洗澡水等清洗水來浇花、洗车；洗衣服的水可用来涮拖把或冲厕所，绿化、洗车、冲地水采用节水喷雾水槍冲洗；；发现有人浪费水，主动过去制止，为保护泉水尽我们一份力。

My parents work in a shoe factory. They get up at five thirty. They first get breakfast ready. Then they go to work by bus. They work there from eight to five. They come home at about six and prepare super for us. Mother washes clothes in the evening, Father often makes toys for toys for us. They are busy all day.

I was borned on Feb. 2, 1976. I had an elder sister two and half years older than I. Frankly speaking, I should say I had a good and memorable childhood in my life.
