How I Spent My Summer Vacation

The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. The most important thing is that don’t talk to strangers, as a teenager, we haven’t had the ability to judge who is the good guy and who is the bad guy, so it is better not to talk to the strangers.

The bad guys will like to talk to the teenagers, they want to do something to pay the teenagers’ attention, thus they can induce the children to go with them and do the bad thing.

In order to protect teenagers’ security, teenagers are taught to keep distant from the stranger.

I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had.
