Everyone has some experience that he cant forget. For me, the most memorable experience was part of the English conversation test. This happened about three years ago when I had to take an English exam, including conversation, to get to the United States.

English is my second language, and I dont need to mention the difficulty of reading and writing. The main function of public libraries is to provide books for people to

read.In a library,there are books on different subjects,such as Chinese

history,fine art,science,English literature,and so on.There are also works fo

fiction.

The public libraries are crowded with people on weekdays as well as Sundays

because many people,especially students who want to consult reference books for

their school work,know that they could at least learn something there.

Besides reading in the library,we can also borrow books with library

cards.But books on loan had to be returned within a couple of weeks.As far as I

know the number of people who borrow books from public libraries is increasing

year after year.

I go to the City Hall library twice a month to read.

我是初一的新生，每一个初中生都要军训，我们也不例外。我们于10月11日，出发到军训基地。

我怀着高兴的心情来到了学校，准备出发到军训基地。同学们都带了很多吃的，和钱，我也不例外，好像去旅游一样。我们上了车，出发了，我们看着风景，都兴致勃勃的，满怀着希望去的。

到了基地老师带我们去教官那里。我们的教官的很斯文，很帅，大概有22至23岁。我们站好了，教官介绍自己，由于教官声音小所以很多人没听清，有人认为姓尹，还有人认为姓郑，而我认为姓严。教官介绍完自己，带我们回宿舍。我们看到宿舍有很多的不满。很脏很乱。

集合号响起，我们立马下去站排。教官带我们去吃饭，我们刚走进食堂，饭菜的香味就扑鼻迎来，我们很高兴，终于有饭吃了。快要吃饭了，老师给我们讲了很多吃饭守则，知道饭菜都凉了，我吃完就胃疼了。以后我只但一点点，因为不让剩饭，而且吃饭时间只有15分钟。

从下午开始到第五天上午一直是训练，不过中午休息2个小时。训练很苦，尤其是站军姿，更累了，站30分钟，能把腿累折了。我们每次晚饭前都要站军姿，有一次我差一点就哭出来。我现在和自然的站军姿。我们这几天练了稍息立正与跨立，停止间转发，行进与立定，唱军歌，别看只有这么少，练起来可累了。

通过这次军训，我学到了，军人的风采，并且学会了，努力克服困难，同学之间友好相处。

我永远也不会忘了这次军训，和教我们的教官还有同学之间友谊。

A lovely spring day, I had finished a whole day’s study, riding back home. Suddenly, I found I couldn’t ride easily and felt exceedingly tired at that time. So, I got off and took a look at my bike. It was something wrong with my bicycle’s tyre, it had been punctured by a small nail. What was worse, I was frustrated by that there was no money in my pocket for I couldn’t repair it.

Walking along the street, I was extremely excited because a repairman on the roadside was fixing the bike. But, I was bewildered as soon as I thought of no money. 每个人都会犯错误。每当你犯了错时，大人们都会告诉你并让你在不知不觉中改正过来。

一天，放学回家，小姨对我们说：”以后你们的作业必须在六点半以前做完。“我看了看时间，心想：现在都才四点过五分，离六点半的时间还早着呢，而且今天的作业非常少，我一下子就可 以做完，不如先玩会再说。于是我对小姨说我的作业做完了。弟弟听了说：”哇，大姐姐，你做作业好快呀！“妹妹也惊讶道：”不会吧，你做的也太快了点吧，难道你在学校里做了很多吗？现在就做 完了？“我骄傲的说：”是呀！你说的没错，我的确做完了，我去玩去了。“我得意的拿出我的宝贝箱子，玩起里面的漂亮玩具来。我一会儿拿到弟弟面前晃一晃，一会儿又拿到妹妹面前摇一摇，他们 看到那么多的玩具都很想来玩，可是还有作业没做完，于是他们都加快的做作业的速度，认认真真的做着作业都没理我，我觉的很无聊，就和那个婴儿小妹妹玩了起来。

经过那次教训以后，我再也不敢说谎了。那次教训真的让我难以忘怀！

在一个日落西山的夜晚，我正在家里写作业。正好写完，一个枕头飞了过来。打在我的手上，是姐姐，姐姐对我说：“你想不想去亿佳超市玩？”

我高兴的说：“我想去”姐姐说：“那你就叫爸爸带我们去”我说：“如果爸爸不带我们去呢？”姐姐说：“那你就叫弟弟去叫”

我说：“弟弟，你去叫爸爸带我们去亿佳超市玩，好不好？”弟弟说：“好”

于是我和姐姐在楼上等着弟弟的好消息。果然不出所料，爸爸果然带我们去亿佳超市了。

我兴高采烈的上爸爸的车到了亿佳超市。哇，这里可真大呀！

我们兴高采烈地走进游乐区，准备畅玩一场。我们一进去先是看到碰碰车。我们买了票，坐上碰碰车，那是一辆蓝色的碰碰车。我驾驶它在赛道上面来回穿梭，嗯。前面怎么堵车了？于是我加大马力。撞了上去，堵车终于疏通了。我们玩够了碰碰车，就去海洋球区。这里差不多有十多米长。几十米宽。旁边就是蹦床。我和弟弟兴奋地跑了进去，先玩了蹦床。弟弟被我蹦个站不起来，我在旁边哈哈大笑。之后我们到了海洋球那儿。我用篮子抓了一大把。倒到弟弟的头上。弟弟还不知道是怎么回事呢。

玩够了海洋球，我们就去了电玩区。在那里我看见了一家篮球机，于是叫爸爸买了票。去那里玩，只见我抓了一个球投了进去，可是没进，一是爸爸抓起个球投进去了，哇，三分球。我想我也不能放弃呀。于是我就这样坚持不懈，进了五十多个球。

这就是我最难忘的一件事。

运动会前夕，在刻苦的训练中，我由于当时太过紧张，第一个冲破终点大门没能停住，将脚扭伤了，当时以为老师会让我休息，没想到这竟是“魔鬼”体育老师中的魔鬼训练，我心中不禁气恼。

在班会时，在运动会前一个下午，我又回到座位上。当老师读名单时，我默默的爬在桌子上，泪水流进嘴里，苦涩的味道让我动得了“失去”是苦的，像一把利剑，深深地刺进我的心中。果真如 此，没能读到我的名字，当好友看见了我失落的样子，立马告诉了老师，老师说让我去跳远应该没事吧?还说让我跑接力，我心里一下子又燃烧起了希望的亮光，像开水一样沸腾起来，我想着只要有百 分之一的希望就要用百分之百的努力去争取。我兴奋地接受了。当天晚上，我兴奋地睡不着，想起那人山人海的场景和哪一个一个拼了命要挣第一为班级争光的对手们，我想着小学五年一定要花一个圆 满的句号。

比赛日：今天我又如愿以偿的见到了让人“牙痒痒”的老对手，我们班的每名运动员都准备搏手一战，为班级荣誉而战。比赛的第一天里，我们班连夺三金，成了夺冠大热门，没想到在最后一项 比赛上给了我们一个沉重的打击，竟然失误“荣获”最后一名。让我们一个比一个低落，再无精力比赛。果真如此，比赛第二天，又接连失误两项比赛项目，这次运动会我们班虽然获得全年级第二名的 成绩，我们应该好好的总结经验，探讨失误的原因，为今后的胜利奠定坚实的基础。可是我们也都不遗憾，因为我们都尽力了。

通过这次运动会，使我知道了做什么事都要踏踏实实，骄傲是失败的根本。
