affects their normal life.

There is no denying that cell phones have brought us considerable

convenient. However, we should be aware of the negative effects that cell phones

have brought to us. Just put down your cell phone for a while, and you will find

20--年，我们全家人回了趟奶奶家的老家——重庆，重庆人爱吃辣是众所周知的。在重庆的那几天，不是在吃辣就是走在吃辣的路上。厨房永远是一个危险区域，那可不是一般人能承受住的。辣椒一下锅，我和妈妈便找各种理由逃出去;弟弟就拿个手机，跑到厕所里避一会儿，听见“吃饭了”又跑出来;爸爸还是比较能忍的，但只能忍一会，不大一会，便打开窗户，拼命地呼吸外面的空气。看见奶奶和重庆的亲戚聊的热火朝天，那让我们恐惧的浓烟，在他们眼中，仿佛只是我们平常所呼吸的空气。

要说最难忘的，还不是那飘满整屋的辣味，而是重庆那令人惊悚的道路。真可谓是‘山路十八弯’呀!车一会上坡，一会又下来，一会来一个极速漂移，一会又缓慢行驶，真让人摸不着头脑。弟弟觉得刺激，大声喊到：“坐过山车喽!坐过山车喽!”我紧紧的拉住妈妈，闭上眼睛，慢慢地等待车经过一道一道的弯，一座一座的坡。要不怎么说那里的人长寿呢，我80多岁的老姥姥爬山时，都比我们强。应该是平常走这样山路锻炼出来的吧，平原上的我们还真是自叹弗如。

去一趟重庆，怎么能不吃一顿火锅呢?火锅的辣不用我多说了，但火锅的“小助理”你知道是什么吗?那就是花生牛奶，每次吃火锅总是会习惯性的点花生牛奶，难道他们那只有花生牛奶?因为在重庆那几天，我就没喝过别的。还有一种食物，叫做“抄手”，你吃过没有?一开始，我疑惑极了，抄手是啥?别说吃过了，我连听说都没听说过。后来我才知道，抄手原来就是我们这边的馄饨，只不过叫法不一样。

短短的几天行程很快结束了，我们一行人坐在火车上，望着窗外优美的景色，恋恋不舍的离开了奶奶的家乡。

辣味飘香、山路十八弯、美食美景——重庆的探亲之旅，绝对是我最难忘的。

在实践基地五天的集体生活即将结束。在这四天中，我们在欢笑中得到了启示，在玩耍中受到教育，还学会了许多指示，真是受益非浅呀!周四的晚上，我们开了一场意外深长的总结会。

晚上，同学们陆陆续续地来到教室，教室里的说声、笑声始终不能停止。这时，老师进来了，教室里立刻变得鸦雀无声。总结会开始了，白华首先说了自己的心得体会，她说：“在这里，我们离开了母亲的怀抱，无论做什么事都得靠自己……一个同学谈了自己的感受，二个同学谈了自己的感受，三个同学谈了自己的感受……

总结会结束了，同学们怀着个自不同的心情回到了宿舍。第二天下午1点半左右，我们迈着沉重的步伐上了汽车，就在汽车开出校门的那一刻，我多么希望车子能停下来，希望时间能停下来，让我再多看一眼那美丽的校园。

China, as a developing country, has a large gap compared with developed

education seems important and should be given the first priority. Besides,

In modern time, when science and technology are making great progress, the

Its almost the end of April. Summer has come to us in my city. In south,

summer always comes earlier than north. It has been hot for about half a month.

The highest temperature reached 37 degree. Now, there are much less people in

the street. People are not likely to go out during the summer. Its so hot

outside. Swimming is the most favorite activity in my city. The pools are always

full filled with people. Parents often take their children to swimming pool at

August 5 was a special day. It was my eighteenth birthday, on the way to become an adult. In the morning, we visited many offices, chatted with Wang Zhidong, the former CEO of Sina, and we tried to edit a report and send it to the Internet. We also had a debate about whether kids’being on-line was good. I stood on the positive side. That was, we should get on-line, to learn, to relax, to shop, to play, to make friends, and to name just a few. We took some pictures to accept as a souvenir. We had lunch there and watched movies afterwards. Spiderman II was truly realistic. We were fascinated by the cool actions, scared by the ugly beast,and encouraged by the brave hero. Then we saw part of Detective Conan, a Japanese cartoon film. In the afternoon, we took a bus to a building where the governors worked to interview a grandpa, who used to work for the young generation.

He is kind, and healthy, though he is over eighty. He loves working, especially working for the youth. He feels more energetic as he talks with kids. At last, he asked us to sing a song for him. We sent a boy on behalf of us all to sing a happy song. He didn’t disappoint us, making everyone present laugh for a while. When the interview ended, we headed back to the newspaper office.The leader handed each of us a diploma and the photos we took that morning. Good time passed quickly. We said good-bye to each other, and then we parted. Yeah, we’ve become friends though we haven’t known each other very long.

An unforgettable experience

My mom used to say that I was born to swim. But the truth is that I didn t know how to swim until the last year of my primary school!

Mom always said that I could swim in the basin when I was only two months old. I was surprised at the amazing fact. If this was true, then why was I afraid of water? I went to swim every summer, but I didn t make a little progress. I was worried and blamed myself several times. When I watched people swimming freely, how I wished I had learnt to swim!

The story of how I learnt to swim is dramatic. One hot summer afternoon, my father and I went to the swimming pool to swim. While my father was changing his clothes, I was roaming along the bank of the pool. Suddenly I heard a voice, Look out! and then came a big noise and beautiful splashes. Just when I was admiring the swimmer s skills, I slipped into the pool! I was so afraid that I shouted at once! But the water kept coming towards me and I drank a lot of it. Though it’s a very poor country, the kids seem to be happy. They live with their farmer parents in little houses built with dirt and straw and help out a lot in the rice field during the day. They don’t have TVs or Internet, but they enjoy a lot playing outside. It was a very memorable trip that I will never forget.
