Now, the new semester has begun for more than one week. I gradually adapt

to my new life in senior school. In senior school, my biggest feeling is busy,

for I have classes all the day and teachers leave us a lot of homework. In the

morning, I have two periods for morning reading, Chinese and English, beginning

from 7:00. After that, I have four periods in the morning and four other in the

afternoon. There are many more subjects than in middle school, Chinese, math,

English, physics, chemistry, history and so on. Sometimes, I am afraid of seeing

so many textbooks in my desk. In addition, the contents are much more difficult

than before. Math and physics are the most difficult ones for me. No matter how

我和几个小伙伴在我家玩起了捉迷藏的游戏。“一，二，三，四......”门外传来了小伙伴的数数声。我连忙从前屋跑到楼上，又从楼上跑到后屋。最后，我站在了杂物屋的门前。我轻轻地推开了门，快进门槛，见里面乱糟糟的。心想：“这样的地方能躲吗?我不会在里面憋死吧?”想着，便出了门。突然，门外又传来小伙伴的声音：“躲好了吗?我来找你们了呦!”这下可慌了，我刚想跑，却转身撞到了墙。“哎呀，这后屋可只有一个门和一间屋啊，这可怎么办呢?”就在我着急的时候，我的眼睛盯上了杂物屋，嘴里嘀咕着：“不想死，就只有这一条路了，没办法!”我只好立即跑进杂物屋里，把门悄悄的关上，然后就随便找了个箱子，赶紧钻到里面去了。

过了一会，伙伴们还没有找到我，我在箱子里暗喜：“哈哈!哈哈!找不到我吧!”我呆在箱子里，偷偷地取笑他们。

过了很久，我在箱子里都快闷死了。我想出去，可出去不就是认输吗?，不行，我坚决不能输!我自我鼓励着。

时间一点一点过去，还没有人找到我，不知不觉中，我睡着了。

等我一觉醒来，还没有人找到我。心想：“竟然这么久都没有人找到我?哼!反正我有精力，就在陪你们玩一会吧!”

这时，躲在箱子里的我，殊不知外面已经日上三竿了。爸妈一大清早没看见我，记得想热锅上的蚂蚁，到处找我。

把到外面找我，妈在家里面找我。找了半天，一无所获。爸回来后告诉妈：“他们说早上和孩子们玩捉迷藏，找了半天都没找到，这说明孩子在家里!我们再仔细找找!”

爸妈来到后屋，呼喊我的名字。我听到呼唤，赶忙跑了出来。眼前的情景真让爸妈哭笑不得。

童年虽然一去不复反了，但小后半们的笑声和爸妈焦急的呼喊声，却让我记忆犹新!

一年一度的中秋节到了。

早晨起来，我和爸爸妈妈去买月饼，准备去我外婆家吃团圆饺子。热闹的大街上看见了很多卖月饼的，有红枣馅的、草莓味馅、红糖芝麻馅等等，我们把各种馅的都买了一些。

到了外婆家，外婆包的饺子开始煮了，我看到香喷喷的月饼想去品尝，妈妈叫住了我说：“你三姨还没来呢，一会一起吃”。话音刚落，三姨就来了，正好饺子也煮熟了，三姨带来了水果，有桃子、香蕉……、我们吃着团圆饺子真是开心热闹。

到了晚上，我们一家人坐在院子里吃着水果和月饼。爷爷和大人们都说：“到了很晚有天狼在天空出现”，我等了很久没有等到，最后我放弃了。可是我左思右想天狼是什么呢？有机会一定让爷爷好好给我讲讲。

这就是我带着疑问而最难忘的中秋节！

Christmas Day is on December 25th, though it originated in the western

country, now it is popular around the world. In China, people will spend that

day happily, they will eat apples on Christmas Eve, the children will put the

socks so that they could get the presents from Santa Claus. When I went to

college, I had an unforgettable memory about my first Christmas Day.

As my major is English, I have many foreign teachers, so that I could have

access to the local culture from them. Christmas Day is a big day for them, when

the day came, they asked us to spend the day with them, because most of them

left home and did not have families around. My classmates and I went to the

foreign teacher’s home at that day, we brought some presents, when we arrived at

his house, we found a beautiful tree with shinning lights. My teachers taught us

how to cook all the cookies, we were having such great fun. I made the cookies

with many favors. We talked happily and sung Christmas songs.

I learned how the foreign people spend their big day, it was such

unforgettable for me.

Today is "51" Labor Day, I want a meaningful thing. Because usually when I saw my mother always work back pain, so I want to pass this Labor Day, the mother share some things, alleviate some of the burden. So I thought of a good idea: do a clean-up at home.

今年暑假，妈妈说要带我去我梦寐以求的大草原游玩。我听了兴奋极了，这次选择的草原是北京和内蒙交界处的“乌兰布统大草原”，我十分期待。

经过漫长的车程，我们终于到达了目的地。我们一行人坐着吉普车，在导游的带领下，驶向了草原深处。草原的风景比我想像中的还要美丽。广阔的草原一望无际，在和风的吹拂下，仿佛一张绿茸茸的地毯，我真想在上面打几个滚儿。放眼望去，那一片片五颜六色的野花点缀在草原上，好似一幅五彩斑斓的画，大自然真是太神奇了。

快瞧!有个小伙伴尖叫起来，好多羊和马啊!只见远处一群羊正自由自在、快活地到处跑着。这一片绿油油的牧草，把它们都养得壮壮的!马儿们有的正埋头专心致志地吃着草，有的互相追着仿佛在打闹嬉戏，还有的吃饱了肚子正悠闲地散步呢!它们不停甩着尾巴，好像在欢迎我们的到来。

不过最有趣，最令我难忘的还是要数骑马了。我们到了骑马场，先精心挑选自己的喜欢的马，我的这匹马可不一般哦!身材高大、宽厚，一身棕色的皮肤，咖啡色的鬃毛，一对尖尖的耳朵，还有一簇长长的马尾，看上去可神气啦!它的蹄子十分有力，我特别喜欢它。我和妈妈平稳地坐上马背后，马儿悠然自得地走起来。它的蹄子发出“跶跶跶跶”的声音。我时不时摸摸它的鬃毛，它就以长啸来回答我，仿佛在说：主人，坐稳喽!我跟牵马的阿姨说能不能让它跑起来，阿姨轻轻拍了一下马，只见马儿欢腾地小跑起来，马尾不停地扫来扫去，地上的沙子也跟着飞扬起来，我真有种居高临下的感觉。骑到一半，它突然停了下来，低着头吃起草来，还不时地叫两声，仿佛在说：有点饿了，我要填饱肚子再跑。真是太搞笑了。吃完还没走两步，又停下来了，我还纳闷，你又饿啦?我低头一看，原来是马儿尿尿了!牵马的阿姨说，它事多呢，不是尿尿，就是拉屎，引得我们哈哈大笑。这马儿真是太有趣了!骑马结束后，我和这匹马亲密地拍了个照，我要永久保存呢!

这次的旅行十分有趣好玩，让我记忆深刻。那美丽的草原、可爱的马儿，还有我骑马的经历，会永远留在我的脑海里。

在我们的人生里，总有一些令人难忘的事情。我就有一个令我十分难忘的事情。

那天下午，我上完补习班，正准备走路回家。走着走着，便看见离自己不远的前方有一个卖烧饼的摊。那里飘来一阵一阵诱人的香味。刚好这时自己又有些想食物，于是，我快步走上去，问那个卖烧饼的老爷爷：“你好，我想问一下，这烧饼要几元？”老爷爷笑了笑，竖起两根手指头，说：“两元一份，热乎乎，香着呢。”我拿起钱包，拿5元给老爷爷，说：“来一份烧饼。”老爷爷接过钱，找了些零钱给我，我看也没看直接塞入书包里，老爷爷包好了一份烧饼，拿给我。我接过烧饼，边走边看着这香喷喷的烧饼，口水快流下来了。我快速解决了烧饼，抹抹嘴巴，满足的笑了笑。这时，我拿书包里的零钱一看，是5元。我疑惑的想了想，不应该是3元吗？或许是太急了，老爷爷找错了吧，我心想：不要白不要，我就收了吧。我正准备拿钱包时，一惊，糟了，钱包不见了。我急了，那里面可有50元呀，怎么办？正在我像热锅里的蚂蚁——急的团团转时，一个熟悉的身影向我跑来。啊！原来是刚刚卖烧饼的老爷爷，他见了我，急忙跑上来，把钱包还回我，说：“我可找着你了，小姑娘，你可让我好找啊，要保管好自己的贵重物品啊。”还会钱包给我后，我不禁十分羞愧，这一相比，我真是十分渺小，老爷爷那高尚品质值的我们学习！

随着腊月二十三响彻云霄的鞭炮声，我们离春节又近了一步。

腊月二十三，这是春节前一个重要的民间节日，人们也称它为“祭灶节”。在这天家家都会停下手中的各种活计，忙忙碌碌地例行年前的祭灶送神活动，家里的男主人一大早准备好烛台和蜡烛，在前面放上祭灶果，水果等供品，到了晚上，祭灶果供好了，小孩子们就会迫不及待地大吃特吃。这红红的红果、纯纯的白果，细长的油果，脆脆的冻米糖，那个咪道别提多好吃了。

过了腊月二十三就是人们购置年货的时候。超市里人山人海，家家都在为过年置办年货什么：各种糖果、各种海鲜，五花八门的年货，红红火火的对联都是必不可少的，特别是海鲜，说到海鲜就不得不提一下我们家过年餐桌上一道必不可少的菜，鳗鱼干，宁波人喜欢自制鳗鱼干。鳗干的做法十分复杂，我的妈妈一般在除夕的一周前就开始制作了，她先把买来的海鳗剪开肚子，仔细清除完内脏，用干净的毛巾把鳗鱼的内部擦干，用食盐倒进鳗肚里用手涂抹均匀，最后把鳗鱼吊在后窗外，听妈妈说这样做是因为鳗鱼不适合晒到太阳，让西北风吹个三四天晒出来的鳗干就无比鲜美，到了过年时，蒸熟后蘸上醋吃那叫一个鲜!

置办好年货，除夕也就随之而来。大街上到处都是红红火火的场面，家家都贴上喜气洋洋，年味十足的对联，女孩子们都急切期待这一天的到来，因为马上可以穿新衣服了。但男孩子们的注意力还是被鞭炮声吸引过去了，听爸爸说他小时候最爱玩大麻雷子了。这天还有一件令我们非常兴奋那就是满当当的压岁钱。小时候奶奶经常给我讲故事，我记得有一个故事讲的正是“压岁钱”的由来，在古时，有一个叫“岁”的怪兽，在除外夜这天会跑到镇上摸孩子的额头，被它摸过额头的孩子半夜就高烧不止，又到除夕，一户家里的孩子哭着闹着不肯上床睡觉，于是他的妈妈给了孩子五六个铜钱，用红纸包了起来，这天“岁”来到这户人家前正准备摸孩子的额头时，忽然孩子头旁发出了红光，原来是那被红纸包着的铜钱发出的光，“岁”看见这光时发出了一声惨叫逃走了。于是过年发压岁钱的习俗就这样流传了下来。而丰富的年夜饭象征着团圆，我们一家人围在一起吃着饭聊着一年里的收获，看着春晚一起守岁。

随着凌晨钟声的响起，鞭炮声此起彼伏，农历新年的第一天到来了，在这一天家家都在家中休息，什么也不干，因为这天都不能扫地，不然在明年会破财的。这也是春节的习俗之一，是不是听着有点幼稚呀，其实这也是人们对来年的一种期待和向往。

过了正月初一，眨眼就到了元宵。元宵节是继春节后又一个重要的节日，在这一天大街上挂起了各色各样的灯笼：荷花灯、宫灯、兔子灯、八角灯……还有许多舞狮濑在大街上舞起了狮子，整条大街红红火火，热热闹闹。

元宵舞龙的习俗历史悠久，六七个人组成的舞龙小组，在锣鼓喧天的音乐中摇摆起来，一会儿翻滚、一会儿穿腾，熟炼的舞龙动作让我们大开眼界，随着音乐高潮的到来舞狮队员亮出了他们的绝活--只见龙摆动着他长长的身躯舞成了八字形赢得了观众们一片叫好声。

元宵，元宵，在元宵节这天吃汤圆可是必不可少的一件大事，汤圆的主要食材是由猪油、黑芝麻、白糖、糯米粉组成。我妈妈一大早就开始做了起来，她把黑芝麻洗净并用小火炒出香味，那香味使人难忘，让芝麻冷却后压成粉末状，芝麻压碎后的香味更使人永世难忘。把芝麻粉放在一边，拿出猪板油洗净用工具小心翼翼地取下猪油，放入容器中，再倒入香气扑鼻的芝麻粉，再放入甜甜的白糖，混合起来就变成了黑芝麻馅，爸爸把糯米粉加入开水，反复揉搓指糯米面成团。于是，我也加入包汤圆行列中，把猪油馅搓成一个个小小的圆球，捏一小块糯米团包住搓成圆球，传统美食“猪油汤圆”就大功告成。吃着糯糯的皮和甜甜的馅，心中的年味又加重了一些。

元宵过后这个年就算过完了，但春节里浓浓的年味一直荡漾在我的心头。

我从来都没有看过日偏食，更被提什么日全食了。然而7月22日的那天在我国辽阔的土地上，发生了一场百年难遇的壮观奇景——日全食!

早在好几个月前广大媒体就播报了这场奇景，当我第一次听到这件事以后，我就兴奋不已，内心充满了美好的憧憬，一直期盼着这场美丽的瞬间早点到来，可以让我大饱眼福。但是天公不作美，在美丽之前下了一场突如其来的暴风雨。那夜晚上我很担心明天的日全食能否存在，心急如焚。幸亏22日那天才上雨停了。终于到了那天早上，我和姐姐还有奶奶出去看日全食，但是我没什么耐心，看了一会儿觉得作业也做完了，就去玩电脑了，但是正玩得起劲的时候，日全食发生了，我听见外面很吵，就出去看了看，没想到外面变成了夜晚，这时我往天上一看，发现了美丽的“钻石环”。

我望着这美丽的“钻石环”，我感觉到这是多么神奇，这一幕我永生难忘!

Depending on personal experience, personality type and emotional concern,

we find that some people hold the idea of living in the country, while others

prefer living in the city. In my opinion, I prefer the city life, though it has

advantages and disadvantages.

First of all, city life is very colorful. City is the center of the

surrounding area. So, it is also the most booming place having the best things.

There are many great things and wonderful activities in the city, while there

isn’t in the country. For example, there are KFC, wonderful shopping mall,

delicious food from various places, dancing club, different kinds of activities

and so on. We can also learn the culture from all the countries. Despite city

life is so wonderful, it still has many disadvantages. Nowadays, with the

improvement of people’s living standard, people have more cars and more people

come to city, and then the city becomes more and more crowd. As a result,

traffic jam emerges, which makes great inconvenience for people to go out.

What’s worse, the air pollution becomes serious day by day, which is bad for

people’s health.

To sum up, every coin has two sides. Living in the city also has good side

and bad aspect. Whether like living in city or not depends on individual

thinking. As myself, I like living in city though I know the disadvantage of

living in city.

Most westerners always celebrate Christmas Day as their major festival, in

order to memorialize Jesus. During that time, they always have several days off,

so they can enjoy this festival with all their hearts. The children often get

together with their friends. The adults are busy with decorating their houses.

They also send the postcards with their best wishes to each other. In the

streets, there are so many Fathers Christmas sending presents to the passers-by.

And everything is on a discount in the supermarkets. Thus the supermarkets are

the busiest places.

In the evening, the families usually have pudding, sandwiches, apple pies

and some other desserts for dinner. After supper, the families always sing and

dance around the Christmas tree. Sometimes, they also go to church. Before going

to bed, the children often hang up their stockings beside their bed, so that

Father Christmas will fill them with presents. It is said that Father Christmas

always drives a deer to the human world and entering into each house from the

chimney. Now the children no longer believe in Father Christmas, but they still

hang up their stockings, because their parents will fill them with presents.

Today is womens day, and also the day I get the scholarship. Look! I made

a chocolate bar for my mother with a scholarship. Although I have paid a lot for

myself, I am very happy in my heart: I can also give my mother a gift, instead

of wrapping around my mother for presents!

But mom is sick and cant eat sweet food. I had to put the chocolate in the

fridge, but after a few days my mother was very ill, and she took a big bite,

and I eagerly asked, "is it good?" She said it was a little sandy. I took a

bite, too. I was a little depressed. But my mother encouraged me, "but its

sweet, its great!" My heart is sweet and happy! I wrote a few words

外面的爆竹声还在声声地响着。电视里播放着春节联欢晚会，有优美的舞蹈，动听的音乐，神奇的魔术，精彩的小品，让人眼花缭乱。 除夕之夜随着新年的钟声过去了。

I like teamwork because I can learn from others. Once, I was very shy and

did not know how to get along with other students, so everytime when the teacher

gave us the task and asked us to finish in the teamwork, I was very scared. Then

my classmates helped me, they gave me a lot opinion and they respected me,

making me the indispensable person. Then I became brave and gave my opinion, we

were in a group, every opinion meant so much. During these days, I was so

excited about the experiment, we shared our idea and talked happily. It was such

a happy moment, I liked cooperation.

下午第一节课，我们在徐老师的带领下激动万分地走出了学校。我们越过大桥，穿过马路，来到了通往敬老院的林荫小道上，道边飘落的风景诉说着秋天的凄凉，但我们已经把凄凉抛到了九霄云外，个个像出笼的小鸟一样兴奋不已。我们带着准备好的节目，带着满满的祝福，带着小小的心意，走进了如东县掘港镇敬老院。

走进敬老院，老远就看到很多献爱心的人正在给爷爷奶奶们送礼物。我暗自想道，原来社会上有这么多好心人关心着敬老院的老人们，看到这个场景，让我想起了一句古语：“百善孝为先”。是啊!尊老、敬老、爱老、助老是我们中国的传统美德。孝敬老人既是一种责任，也是一种感恩。

我们按耐不住激动的心情加快了脚步，敬老院的院长见到我们，跟我们打了声招呼，让我们准备一下，就可以给爷爷奶奶们表演节目了。不一会儿，就轮到我们上场了，首先上场的是周琴，黄周思雨，张学喆三人合唱《荷塘月色》歌曲，优美的旋律，甜美的歌声飘荡在敬老院的每个角落，飘进了爷爷奶奶的心田。看着爷爷奶奶们脸上洋溢着幸福的笑容，她们表演的更加卖力。接着我们给爷爷奶奶们表演讲故事的节目，搞笑的故事情节把爷爷奶奶们逗得笑声不断，一个个精彩的节目，深深地感染了爷爷奶奶们，现场一片温馨祥和的气氛。

今天，天空灰蒙蒙下着雨，妈妈就说：“今天咱们别骑电动车了，坐公交车吧！”我们俩打着伞出门了。

在站牌跟前等了好一会儿，1路公交车终于过来了。车门一开，我冲了上去，一看，哎！完蛋了，满满的都是人，我还得站一路呢，还要累死呢！我站在公交车的门口，东张西望，看到了一个空座位，凭着自己聪明灵活的优势，窜到那个座位上，然后对妈妈大声地说：“妈，快点！这有一个空座位。”只听见其他人指着我说：“什么孩子啊？”切，我才不管你们怎么说我，反正我是舒舒服服地坐下了。

又过了两站，车停了，一位白发苍苍的老奶奶上来了，雨水顺着头发流。老奶奶看了看周围，长长地叹了一声“哎”我脑海里出现了两个小人，一个人说：“别让了，咱们站起来也累呢！”另一个小人说：“可是我们老师说过，一定要乐于助人啊！”我看了看周围的人，有的在玩手机，有的在看外面的风景，有的在假装睡觉，总而言之大家都不想让座。那两个小人打架也结束了，当然是那个品德高尚的那个小人赢了。我对老奶奶说：“奶奶，您坐我这吧！我和妈妈坐一个座位。”老奶奶和蔼地说：“谢谢你啊，小朋友。”妈妈为我竖起大拇指，说：“宝贝，你真棒。”

今天我懂得了一个道理：做为一个人，品德高尚和素质也是生活中不必缺少的一部分。

古人云：“清明时节雨纷纷，路上行人欲断魂。”4月5日前后是24节气中的清明，清明节起先是晋文公为了纪念介子推而定的。现在已经成为了我国的一个传统佳节。

清明节各个地方的习俗各不相同，在我的家乡主要是给死去的亲人扫墓。那几天村子里异常热闹，平常连过年也不来的人也都回到了村子。当然，每个节日都有它特定的美食，清明节的美食就是青饼了。

四月的艾草又嫩又绿，散发着迷人的清香，我们采了一些艾草叶子，回家洗干净，用水煮熟了，把里面的苦水榨出来，跺碎了备用。然后把大米粉上锅蒸，等香味出来了加上艾草再蒸，等到都熟了之后，一起倒入石臼里，那香味随着热气扑鼻而来，让人垂涎三尺。外公掐了一小块塞进我嘴里，啊，真好吃!只见外公抡起大榔头，随着“嗨哟、嗨哟”的节奏声，一锤一锤地敲打着米粉。趁外公抡榔头的空档，外婆迅速地去揉一下米粉，直到米粉和艾草完全溶和在一起了，就算捣好了，我们把青团摘成乒乓球大小的小球，最后把它放在刻着花纹的模具里压平，一个个雕刻着精美图案的青饼就新鲜出炉了。接下来我们带着刚刚做好的青饼、水果、还有煮好的小菜去为亲人扫墓，清理清理树叶，加加泥土什么的，只见青幽幽的山间便是“风吹旷野纸钱飞，古墓垒垒春草绿”了。

清明节也是踏青、春游的好时节，可以去踏踏青、爬爬山，采采那满山遍野的映山红。
