An Unforgettable Experience

There are various activities in the college, such as hiking, gathering, competitions and so on. And what impresses me most is my experience of being a volunteer teacher.

I was a freshman when the School of Foreign Languages organized a voluntary activity which aimed at providing children in poor areas with a better education. As a matter of fact, I did not show any interest in this activity, for I thought that I just wasted my time and energy without getting any pay. But finally I followed the trend and went to the interview for a try. To my surprise, I was eolled as a member of the teaching group. I became quite excited and made up my mind to prepare for the class as well as I could. I read their textbook again and again to make sure that I was familiar with the language points. What’s more, I searched on the Internet for some additional information, which I thought would help me a lot in the class. At that time, I really could not wait to give the lecture.

Fortunately, it didn’t keep me waiting too long. It was a sunny day. And we spent almost an hour in the bus. Although I was tired and sleepy, my enthusiasm overwhelmed my tiredness. The school is a small place full of various books. The children there were so lovely that they left me a deep impression. They keep asking me

questions about study and they were also curious about the college life. I was quite happy surrounded by a group of children.

I really benefit a lot from the unforgettable experience. I realize that money and some material things should not be considered as the most important thing in our life. It is the self-realization that really makes our life meaningful. Although I did not get any material things from this activity, I was very happy for what I did for the children. So I hold that we should not just consider the salary in job-hunting, we should also think about whether the job can bring you spiritual enjoyment or not.

When we are little, we are eager to grow up, so that we can break free of

parental discipline even leave them far. Since we were a little child, we have

to be governed by teachers in school and endure parent’s ramble at home. These

are our growing pains. Besides, study, friendship, sometimes campus romance may

trouble us. However, as we grow up, we gradually find that things mentioned

above are not pains at all. There are much more serious things brother us. For

example, we may be less sensitive to the simple happiness and loss them

gradually. It’s hard for us to laugh from our heart. Moreover, we are in the age

that we are eager to grow up but afraid to grow up either. The ambivalence

afflicts us a lot. However, no matter what happens in our growth, they are parts

of our lives. We must accept them actively and do not let the pains prevent us

from happiness.

那是在一个炎热的中午，妈妈打电话告诉我中午不回家吃饭，要我自己准备吃的。看着外面火辣的太阳，我已经踏出门的心瞬间收回凉爽的屋内。但是不出门我就没午饭吃呀，“咕噜噜噜——”肚子传来抗议的叫声，好像在跟我说：“我要吃东西！你赶紧给我弄食物过来！”不得已之下，我翻开冰箱。很多吃的，可是我不会煮，这可怎么办！听到肚子的抗议声，我果断拿起前一晚的剩饭和一只鸡蛋，“我要炒饭！”

由于平时围观过妈妈的炒饭过程，她的每一个步骤都在我脑海浮现一遍。我先把鸡蛋打倒碗里面，用筷子稍微搅拌一下。第二步就是开火，“挞！”一声，蓝色的火焰瞬间燃起，把锅烧得通红。“这火也太大了吧！”我心想，“有点害怕，还是关小一点比较好。”收火之后，我开始下油，接着是鸡蛋，随意翻炒一下，紧接着就要放米饭进去了。看着米饭在锅里从块状变为颗粒状，我就知道这次炒饭肯定成功。最后，我随意加了一点酱油作为调味。闻着香喷喷的炒饭，我自己都不敢相信这居然是我亲手做的食物。

吃着第一次的炒饭，我内心觉得自己长大了，能够自己照顾自己，这是一个好的开始。以后我也要做一桌饭菜给家里人吃。

说道暑假里的趣事，最让我难忘的肯定是在广州，我坐了人生中第一次过山车。

在经过两天激烈的车模比赛后，我和妈妈来到了长隆乐园，说道长隆乐园就让我想到了刺激的过山车，这是我一直以来都很想挑战的项目。进了长隆乐园。我就拉着妈妈来到过山车旁妈妈本不想陪我一起坐过山车，我好说歹说把他劝上了过山车。

坐上过山车，工作人员就用安全杆把我死死地压在座位上，接着过山车缓缓地爬上了最高点，然后：“啊!!!”过山车上充斥着尖叫和大喊。我用力地拉住安全杆，好像自己随时都要掉下去一样。

经历了惊险地下坡，接着过山车猛地开上了坡，强大的力量顿时让我抬不起头，简直快要把我的脖子拉断了。后面怎么样我也不记得了。只觉头昏脑涨。走下过山车。我和妈妈两个人走也坐不动了，靠在墙边休息了许久。

接着我和妈妈又去了鬼屋，又看了一场特技爆炸表演。一天下来，筋疲力尽，我和妈妈躺在酒店的床上，迟迟不肯起床，回想一天的趣事，慢慢地，睡着了……

When I watch the TV series, there always present the rich familys life,

but I dont feel envious about the rich life. It is obvious that though these

people live the better life, the cost is that their parents spend less time to

play with them. The time to stay with our parents is really important, while the

rich parents have much work to do, so they dont have much private hours. I was

born in an ordinary family. My parents will never miss the moment when I need

them. I am so thankful to life, because I have my parents love. Whats more, I

have made many good friends. We share our interest and have a lot in common.

What is your favorite kind of music? Do you like jazz, popular music,

classical music, folk songs, blues, and so on? In high school I took one course

called music appreciation which I greatly enjoyed. This was not to learn how to

play a specific instrument but to learn how to read and listen to music as an

art form. We read the stories about the lives of many composers and the history

of the musical instruments themselves. Sometimes we listened to tapes at the

language laboratory, or concerts. Music is sometimes called a universal

language. A composer who cannot speak a single word of our language can make us

feel joy and pride, exaltation and despair, peace and mystery through his

music.

August 5 was a special day. It was my eighteenth birthday, on the way to become an adult. I didn’t go out with my relatives as usual, I went to Zhejiang Daily Newspaper Building to experience how an editor of Zhejiang Online Website worked. In the morning, we visited many offices, chatted with Wang Zhidong, the former CEO of Sina, and we tried to edit a report and send it to the Internet. We also had a debate about whether kids’being on-line was good. I stood on the positive side. That was, we should get on-line, to learn, to relax, to shop, to play, to make friends, and to name just a few. We took some pictures to accept as a souvenir. We had lunch there and watched movies afterwards. Spiderman II was truly realistic. We were fascinated by the cool actions, scared by the ugly beast,and encouraged by the brave hero. Then we saw part of Detective Conan, a Japanese cartoon film. In the afternoon, we took a bus to a building where the governors worked to interview a grandpa, who used to work for the young generation. He is kind, and healthy, though he is over eighty. He loves working, especially working for the youth. He feels more energetic as he talks with kids. At last, he asked us to sing a song for him. We sent a boy on behalf of us all to sing a happy song. He didn’t disappoint us, making everyone present laugh for a while. When the interview ended, we headed back to the newspaper office.The leader handed each of us a diploma and the photos we took that morning. Good time passed quickly. We said good-bye to each other, and then we parted. Yeah, we’ve become friends though we haven’t known each other very long. In a word, that was a meaningful enjoyable day. I really had great fun.

Nowadays, more and more people realize the harm of smoking and the damage

it bring to the people around us. Considered the health of people themseves and

the one they care, many smokers try their best to give up smoking. When quiting

smoking, I have some suggestions. First of all, people should have strong will

on giving up smoking. Personal determination is the most important factor. When

feeling eager to smoke, people should think about the damage of smoking and the

people they love. And then they can strengthen their will not to smoke.

Secondly, sweep away all the cigarette around. They can’t find any cigarette

when they want to smoke. And then after a while, their wants for smoke will

reduce gradually. Last but not least, prepare some candies in the pocket, when

people want to smoke, eat candies instead. Hope every smoker succeed in the

end.

Today is the annual traditional festival in China, "Spring Festival". The morning sun was still in bed, I was like the sound of firecrackers to wake up. I get up and wash, this is my brother and sister have been wearing new clothes neat and I go to visit my grandparents and grandparents give us pay New Years call, each made a big red, I opened the door to stay, which contained a $100 bill, I like to eat honey, happy the flowers.

After eating dumplings, my mother said that I dont have to write my homework today. I can play a day with my brother and sister. I am very happy after I hear it.

The Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. On this day, every family has to eat dumplings, set off firecrackers, put up couplets and hang lanterns, which is the happiest and happiest day of the year.

The usage of Internet becomes one of the most controversial topics in the

society. As a college student, I believe Internet is beneficial to me more than

the way it harms me. There are many advantages for using Internet.

First, I can best use my time to find information online instead of going

to different libraries. Also, the information can be dated back in decades ago.

It is very helpful to use those information as reference and historical proof.

In the library, it is hard to find so much "old" information. Another advantage

to use Internet is that I can stay home and have a lecture online. It is much

more convenience to me because I can stay warm to have class in the winter time

instead of spending two hours on the bus and physically attend class. In

addition, Internet provides me a better way to communicate with my friends and

professors. I can get response from my professor in a few minutes instead of

waiting outside of his door for hours. Some of my friends are living in a

foreign countries, I can simply just drop him an email whenever I can and get a

message from him very quick. It is much better than waiting for letters. Also,

the email will not lose while the letter might be losing in the process of

delivery.

However, there are also disadvantage of using Internet. For example, I

might spend too much time on the Internet to concentrate on my study. Also,

there is a chance that I am cheated because of the Internet purchasing. Last,

Internet has lots of information, both helpful and harmful. There might be too

much tempatation that I will access some of the harmful information I can on the

Internet.

Even though the usage of Internet has both positive and negative effect to

me, I still consider Internet is a symbol of technology development. I believe I

can use the Internet very well as long as I know how to control myself.

One of my roommate often talk when he sleeps. He talked about all kinds of things.For example ,last night, I had a hard jod to fall asleep .I read a novel to make my eyes feel sleepy.When I was concentrated to the story ,I heard he said:"how much do you want?" It sounds like he was arguing a price with somebody , I was very strange ,so I asked:" Are you awake?what are you talking about?" there was not reply . At that time , he begain to talk agin:"OK, OK."It was the first time I heart him talk, so I did afraid of that and unforgettable.

本来星期六是非常happy的一天，可是……

星期六的早上我上完画画班，回到家，不幸发生了……。因为我跑的太快，就在我刚刚踏进家门的时候，那个可恶的地，那个地板上可恶的水滴，把我滑倒了，这还不算什么，我的嘴还撞上了茶几的角，可把我害惨了。当时血流满地，我也忍不住哭了起来，妈妈赶快带着我来到了医院。在口腔科，医生一检查，发现我嘴里有一个很大的破口，必须缝针，可是我那时哭着喊着就是不让医生给我缝针。妈妈又带我来到了耳鼻喉科，找到了唐姥姥，唐姥姥给我找来了一个态度非常好的医生，她长得很漂亮，语气很温和，刚开始，她给我喷了一点麻药，再打麻针的时候就不太痛了，之后就给我打了麻针，果然再缝针的时候就不疼了，没感觉了。当时我很害怕，我说：“怎么还没有缝好呀?”医生一边给我缝针一边跟我聊天，快缝完的时候还和我开了一个玩笑，这时我就觉得缝针不再像我想的那样恐怖了。缝完了，我一直没有哭，医生夸我说真勇敢!

现在我的嘴巴已经变成“腊肠”嘴了，我妈妈说我从孙悟空变成猪八戒了!这真是一次痛苦的经历，我以后做事再也不会不小心了。

我是初一的新生，每一个初中生都要军训，我们也不例外。我们于10月11日，出发到军训基地。

我怀着高兴的心情来到了学校，准备出发到军训基地。同学们都带了很多吃的，和钱，我也不例外，好像去旅游一样。我们上了车，出发了，我们看着风景，都兴致勃勃的，满怀着希望去的。

到了基地老师带我们去教官那里。我们的教官的很斯文，很帅，大概有22至23岁。我们站好了，教官介绍自己，由于教官声音小所以很多人没听清，有人认为姓尹，还有人认为姓郑，而我认为姓严。教官介绍完自己，带我们回宿舍。我们看到宿舍有很多的不满。很脏很乱。

集合号响起，我们立马下去站排。教官带我们去吃饭，我们刚走进食堂，饭菜的香味就扑鼻迎来，我们很高兴，终于有饭吃了。快要吃饭了，老师给我们讲了很多吃饭守则，知道饭菜都凉了，我吃完就胃疼了。以后我只但一点点，因为不让剩饭，而且吃饭时间只有15分钟。

从下午开始到第五天上午一直是训练，不过中午休息2个小时。训练很苦，尤其是站军姿，更累了，站30分钟，能把腿累折了。我们每次晚饭前都要站军姿，有一次我差一点就哭出来。我现在和自然的站军姿。我们这几天练了稍息立正与跨立，停止间转发，行进与立定，唱军歌，别看只有这么少，练起来可累了。

通过这次军训，我学到了，军人的风采，并且学会了，努力克服困难，同学之间友好相处。

我永远也不会忘了这次军训，和教我们的教官还有同学之间友谊。

人的一生有许多第一次，如第一次游泳，第一次旅行，第一次登山，第一次成功。许许多多的第一次，总会给我们留下深刻的印象。

在我成长的记忆中，曾经有过很多个第一次，其中蕴涵着无数的快乐与幸福，但让我最难忘的便是第一次洗衣服了。

有一次，我在爸妈那里，他们去上班了，叫我洗衣服，我答应了。因为我觉得很好玩。我立刻拿了个盒子，放了半盆水，放进衣服。想想了妈妈说的话：“先泡20分钟。”我就把闹钟定了半小时。闹铃响了，我可以开工了。我拿起肥皂，可肥皂像小鱼一样从我的手中溜了出去，一边跳一边好像在说：“看你怎么捉住我。”我火冒三丈，用力去拿它，可越用力它跳的越远，我气得七窍生烟。这时我看见一袋洗衣粉，就用洗衣粉倒下去，我用手一搅，一个个可爱的泡泡娃娃，在阳光的映照下五色十光，我用力地搓着衣服，可是衣服上的污点没有一点离开的意思，好像说：“想赶走我，没门。”我又使劲的搓。终于，污点被我挫没了，我把脏水倒掉，又放了干净的水，把衣服放在里面，然后用手搓；“终于洗好了，累死我了。”

我把衣服挂在衣架上，衣服在阳光的照耀下，显得格外干净。我看着干净的衣服在阳光的沐浴下仿佛更鲜艳了！这时，一股甜丝丝的感觉涌上心头，因为这是我第一次的劳动成果，我能不高兴吗？

“干净是干净，可成本太高了。”这是我对自己第一次洗衣服的最高评价。

In my growth process, there have been a lot of things, like the stars of the sky count the number of endless. But there is one thing that keeps me remember.

I remember that it was in a rain, I just did not bring an umbrella, seeing the students are all insisted on an umbrella home, I envy very fast! 她先将我放下，然后去询问价格。望着这么大一袋米，母亲没有退缩，反而迎了上去。她在米堆中选了一袋米，双手紧紧抓住袋角，使劲一提，再将米扛在肩上。她脸憋的通红，眉头紧皱。现在的母亲无暇再顾我，一步一步艰难地扛回家。原先那200米的路程似乎变成了2000米。

母亲的呼吸越来越重，头上冒出了豆大的汗珠，头发全湿了，紧贴额头。但她的速度却不曾慢过，渐渐地走在我的前面。幼小的我还不懂什么是孝，只是知道母亲很累，但她没有放弃。此时再看她的背影，我的心有点痛。阳光均匀地撒在她的身上，地上的影子拖得很长。终于到楼下了，母亲将米放下，稍做休息后扛着米袋上楼了。我紧随其后。

再次仰视她，她像一座山挺拔、高大。那瘦弱的身子仿佛就要被米袋压垮，但一直笔直，丝毫没有要松懈的意思。到家已是汗流浃背，衣服全湿了。手被磨得紫红，肩膀也酸痛无比。

几年后在街上，看到一副情景。一个年轻母亲背着自己的儿子，手中还拿着购物袋。孩子手中拿着一把雨伞为母亲遮风挡雨，母子两人的背影很快消失在我的视线中。望着这样一对背影，我那不争气的眼泪在眼眶中直打转，回想起当年母亲扛米的背影，我早已泪流满面、泣不成声。

那个背影时常在我的脑海中闪现。难忘那个背影，那个给予我信心、力量与爱的背影;那个被放大无限倍的背影;那个令我难忘且改变我一生的背影……

Thanksgiving Day falls on the fourth Thursday of November every year. It is

the most truly American of the national Holidays in the United States. It is a

time for sharing. In the United States, it is their tradition that family

members get together for a reunion to have a traditional big dinner. On the

dinner table, people will find apples, oranges, chestnuts, walnuts and grapes.

There will be plum pudding, mince pie, other varieties of food and cranberry

juice and squash. The best and most attractive among them are roast turkey and

pumpkin pie. Although it is the traditional festival of America, it reminds us

of appreciation.

Recently, I saw a piece of news on the newspaper. This news has a picture

matched. The picture shows that a young lady sitting on the seat of a bus. But

it is strange that an old lady sits on the leg of the young lady, which there

are still many empty seats on the bus. I am totally moved after reading this

news. The old lady is the mother of the young lady. The old lady had some

problem with her back and leg that she couldn’t sit independently. And her

daughter does not want to see her mother stand on the bus in such an old lady,

so I see situation on the picture. Having read this, my eyes become wet. When we

are young, our mother will often carry us if there is any inconvenient, but when

our mother gets old, we seldom carry her.

The ancients had a saying: dripping, the smallest favor. In this world,

there are many people who grace to us. Our parents are the two people who give

us most grace. When we grow up, we need to say our thanks to them. As far as I

am concerned, thanks the people do good to us, especially our parents should be

the theme of our Chinese Thanksgiving Day.

在万众瞩目中，北京冬奥会的“一起向未来”的口号充分印证了中华民族团结各国人民共同努力奋斗，展示着中国和平负责的大国形象，传递着全世界各个国家和平共赢，实现人类真正幸福的美好愿望。七十多年来中国致力于世界和平的脚步从未停歇，而中国人民更会传承并发扬这种精神。北京冬奥会带给大家的不仅仅是获得奖牌、为国争光、坚持不懈的体育精神，更是海纳百川，求同存异，促进全世界共同发展的大爱精神。作为新时代的青年，我们应该深刻领悟冬奥会精神，致力于中华民族的伟大复兴，成为担当民族复兴大任的时代新人。

传冬奥圣火，书冰雪华章，让我们为冬奥会自豪，为运动健儿们喝彩！

“再这样塞车，要何时才会到！”我难掩内心的不安，咕哝着。粗心大意的我在比赛这天计错了闹钟，现在队上的六十个人都在等我──而我还卡在车阵里动弹不得。

好不容易即时赶到，但接下来的彩排，我的组员们却对我爱理不理，一副视若无睹的模样。我咽不下一早上的怒火，终究爆发了。历经冷嘲热和面红耳赤的大吵，我和我的组员们撕破脸，她们不再愿意承认我这个组长。或许是我平时太严厉，而在最紧要关头却没能做好，使得大伙不满一次涌现出来。

“身为组长，若没在比赛时展现和同组组员默契，那奏出来的曲子想必也是支离破碎！”恍然大悟的我收起一贯的严肃和今早的怒颜，召集了木琴组组员。

“对不起！”我鞠躬九十度。拿出诚心和勇气，为平时严厉而不近人情的我和今日气愤而口不择言的我，真心的乞求原谅。谚语有云：“最大的朋友不是财富，但最大的财富是朋友。”是啊！这些人是和我一起历经磨难和淬砺，是和我一起跋山涉水，攀向成功顶峰的伙伴，也是在血泪交织的魔鬼训练里，互相打气，彼此勉励的战友。她们是我最珍贵的财富，然而在过去一个月紧锣密鼓的集训中，我却每天对我的“财富”摆臭脸、恶言相向、怒颜以对吗？如今想来，当时为求好心切的那些摩擦真是无谓！

最终，一路走来互相扶持的大家再度接纳了我，接纳了在经过一番省思过后的我那颗赤诚的心。我们相互拥抱，给彼此力量。站在舞台上，我们用在热烈，最高昂的情绪，演绎出轻骑兵序曲的波澜壮阔，奋勇杀敌──就像我们尽释前嫌，把之前的不愉快“抄家灭族”一样。

和好又何尝是一件难如登天的事？若尊严使你拉不下脸道歉、坦承自己的错误，那便是因为你的体悟和反思还不够深。生命就该浪费在美好的事物上，而众所周知──无谓的呕气和争吵全然不必要，一路扶持你缓步走来却未曾遗弃你的朋友才是最美好的。
