"But because the pieces arent exact, I have some rough edges, which I cherish, because they remind me of the love we shared.

"Sometimes I have given pieces of my heart away, and the other person hasnt returned a piece of his or her heart to me. These are the empty gouges - giving love is taking a chance.

Oceans becoming more acidicThe worlds oceans are slowly getting more acidic, say scientists.The researchers from California say the change is taking place in response to higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.The lowering of the waters pH value is not great at the moment but could pose a serious threat to current marine life if it continues, they warn.Ken Caldeira and Michael Wickett, from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, report their concerns in the journal Nature.Increasing use of fossil fuels means more carbon dioxide is going into the air, and most of it will eventually be absorbed by seawater.

Once in the water, it reacts to form carbonic acid.Scientists believe that the oceans have already become slightly more acidic over the last century.But these researchers have tried to predict what will happen in the future by combining what we know about the history of the oceans with computer models of climate change."This level of acidity will get much more extreme in the future if we continue releasing CO2 into the atmosphere," said Dr Caldeira."And we predicted amounts of future acidity that exceed anything we saw over the last several hundred million years, apart from perhaps after rare catastrophic events such as asteroid impacts."If carbon dioxide release continues unabated, ocean pH could be reduced by as much as 0.77 units, the authors warn.It is not absolutely clear what that means for marine life, however.

Most organisms live near the surface, where the greatest pH change would be expected to occur, but deep-ocean lifeforms may be more sensitive to pH changes.Coral reefs and other organisms whose skeletons or shells contain calcium carbonate may be particularly affected, the team speculate. They could find it much more difficult to build these structures in water with a lower pH.In recent years some people have suggested deliberately storing carbon dioxide from power stations in the deep ocean as a way of curbing global warming.But Dr Caldeira said that such a strategy should now be re-considered."Previously, most experts had looked at ocean absorption of carbon dioxide as a good thing - because in releasing CO2 into the atmosphere we warm the planet; and when CO2 is absorbed by the ocean, it reduces the amount of greenhouse warming.

Ordinary Is Beautiful

When we are very small, we dream to be the great person in the future, such

as the scientist, the policeman and so on.

It is good for the children to own the big dream, so that they will study

hard and fight for their future. But the fact is that not all the persons can

become the great person, and most people are doing the ordinary jobs. In my

opinion, ordinary is beautiful, too. Though they are not doing the fine jobs,

they find their own place and make a contribution to the world. Take the cleaner

十分钟内做了十一件事，而又是十一件看似荒唐至极的事，但却只是为了“找”，找自己真正想做的事情。有人不明白他这种疯狂是一种病态还是毫无束缚的天性，我倒认为，这便是他的独特所在，“玩，也要找到自己想玩的!”他张扬，他疯狂，从家长的视角，他没有事事正确，但他却为了自己快乐，在一点点地超越!

后来，因为自己纯粹的喜欢，他开始了自己的绘画生涯。因为对艺术的热爱、激情与幻化，他在十岁便一举成名;因为他异乎寻常的意念、执著与幻想，他铸造了艺术的巅峰!

活出真实的自己，自己就是下一个传奇!

我不禁想到了印度片中的那个兰彻。他快乐，因为他追求快乐;他卓越，因为他追求卓越!学生时代，在众多的“学习机器”中，他脱颖而出，因为他爱自己所做的事，因为他懂得什么才是自己想要的，因为他会告诉自己“Aal izz well(一切都会好)”……

自由不是想干什么干什么，而是不想干什么就不干什么。所以兰彻不会让自己去做不喜欢也没必要去做的事，没有让自己成为当时教育体制下无辜的受害者，而是变成一个快乐的创造者，在创造中又寻找快乐，最终成为了一个伟大的科学家，潇洒又纯粹地活着!

我沉默过，思索过，我想，无论是毕加索还是兰彻，无论是艺术的巅峰还是科学的奇才，这一切的取得都并非偶然，那耀眼光芒的到来是绝对的必然，是付出的结果，是生命和生活回报的欢歌!

在他们身上，永远找不到轻易的模仿，有的是永无止境的创造;永远找不到对于枯燥的厌烦，有的是满腔的热情与热爱;永远找不到随波逐流的盲目，有的是最真的个性与卓越!

有一种很强的触动在我的心底翻腾着，升华成一种类似于信念的东西，我知道，这是一种无可比拟的感染与折服。

走一条熟稔的路，走多少次欣赏的也无非是不变的旧风景;走别人指引的路，走多久塑造的也无非是不变的旧模样;走别人走过的路，走多远收获的也无非是不变的旧经验!

活出真实的自己，为自己而活，所见才是真风景、好风景!

以自己为圆心，画个太阳!

有一种人，他一辈子都抱怨着，求学时考试失利而抱怨着题目太难；工作时上班迟到而抱怨着上班时间过早；成家后生活艰难抱怨社会竞争不公。他一辈子活的很累，但心很轻松。

我就有过那么一段时间，整天潇洒度日。与朋友闹了矛盾并不感到有什么不自在，也只是等着对方来道歉，在我看来一切的根源并不在于我，不与他计较已经是最大的宽容。那段时间的言谈举止也颇为上档次，仿佛自己不是一个求知问学的学子，而是一位才华横溢的大师。甚至在那一段时间的考试也是频频失利，但在听见有传闻说是我们班的老师是整个年级教的最一般的老师后，我便将所有失败的原因几乎都归结到了老师身上。并且对于来自父母苦口婆心的教育，也都是认为成是时代的隔阂。因此一切都是以一种自以为是的心态处理，仿佛整个心都被蒙蔽了

于是那段人生便成为我这一生最放荡不羁的时期，如果说这还有什么不满足的，那恐怕就只有那种“宁可我负天下人，不可天下人负我”的极端心态了。

直到我大病了一场后，再无法将缘由归结到其他事物上的时候，这段时期才算有个了解，我也是真正明白有些事情是推脱不开的，认清了自己所需承担的责任，才将那种几乎“忘我”的心态改了过去。那种心态仅仅是忘掉了自身的错误，忘掉错误的根源，没有看清事物本质。就好比一阵风吹来，过后只是嘲讽别人脸上的污点却浑然不知也不去想自己甚至比别人更脏。这种心态也许可以避免打击一个人前进的动力，但它带来的更严重的问题是，它可能引导一个人盲目的前进，一叶障目，不能在前进的基础上发现并改进自身的不足，认清自己，最终迷失在一个虚假的完美的世界中。

相反，去积极的寻找自身的不足尤为重要。一个错误的改正比一次成功的经历要收获更多。就像面对一道选择题，你可能无意中选出了正确答案，却不如去放任它做错。因为只有错误和失败可能刺激一个人的自尊和自强的心理，促使人记住它，以后不在是畏惧他。父亲也曾对我说过：“我从不怕你犯错，而是怕你没有一颗悔改的心。”我一直铭记着父亲的这句话，并将它应用于生活当中，并不断改进这自己，至于怎样才能抱怨别人，我相信这辈子我不会有这样的资格。因为毕竟人无完人，谁也不能保证自己可以样样强于别人。就像猫能嘲笑鱼不能上树，鱼也可以嘲笑猫不能下水。不能认识自己的错误，谈何去纠正别人的不足呢？

擦亮自己，才能正式他人。认清自己，才能面对未来。

Yesterday, my parents were not home. And I had to stay at home by myself for one day and one night. I was very happy at first, because there wouldnt be anyone criticizes my behavior. I can do whatever I want. But later I felt desperate. There was nobody cook for me, asked me to do things or criticized me. I felt empty and desperate as the house is only me. When the night fell, I was afraid. The computer games or the cartoons couldn’t attract my attention. I hate living alone.

昨天，我的父母不在家。我得自己一个人呆上一天一夜。我一开始很开心，因为没人会批评我的行为了。我可以做任何我想做的事。但后来我感到很郁闷。没人给我做饭，没人叫我做事情也没有人批评我。整个房子只有我一个人，我感到很空虚和郁闷。当夜幕降临的时候，我就开始很害怕了。电脑游戏或动画片都无法吸引我的注意。我讨厌一个人生活。

我能够想象的到在这一路上我一直都在不断寻找着新的东西，正好像在之前的时候我们能够找到一个稳定的兼职或者是稳定的工作，但是时间一长我们并不会满足于此，我们会想着在未来能够寻求更大的突破，我们想着能够在将来有更好的发展机遇。也许很多时候这种不满足就是对自己内在的要求和发展的动力。

我们会知道当你在一个行业中有一定成就的时候，你可能慢慢的新鲜感和自我价值感就会淡化，你不知道自己继续进行下去，是否一直都在重复之前的生活，你不知道这样的生活到底能否带给你心意，当然除了能让你养家糊口殷实无忧之外。

所以在这样的目标之下，你就开始不断尝试自己的心旅途，你知道原来所有人都在不断地努力去寻找新的故事，你也知道原来在这样的漫长时光当中，每一个人都成为了这里的一份子，每个人都在不断地加入，成为自己这里永远的英雄，或许在每一个人的心目中，他们都存活着一个别人无法理解的印象，那就好像是另外一个镜子里面的自己，每一个人都在和自己在做着斗争，每个人都在努力着突破那些权衡突破那些传统。

可实际上当我们真的掉入那样的陷阱之后，你就会发现所有的思绪根本就是连接不到一起的，当我看着你在指手画脚去说那么多故事的时候，你就觉得这一切其实从来都不是一个人的梦想。

每一个人都在我们心目中有了不一样的概念，然而这一切对于我们而言都是一场不可多得的谋划与觊觎，他们竟然很早就放弃了自己的梦想，放弃了这些行动的可能性，那么在此之后他们再拾起来的机会也寥寥无几。

在古代，人们把六称为阴数，九称为阳数。九月九这一天，两阳相聚称之为“重阳”，这一天又叫做“老人节”，是我国一个历史悠久的节日。

今天下午，值勤过后，我就和同学一起坐43路车回家。车上很挤，我好不容易才找到一个座位，就一屁股坐下了，可以好好的休息一会了。

可是，车刚过了一站地，有一位老爷爷上车了，他微微驼背，大概六十多岁的 样子。我马上就想到了要给老人让座，但又转念一想，自己好不容易才坐下，让了怪可惜的。

怎么办啊?到底是 让还是不让?我想，身为一个少先队员，如果我不让的话，那又怎么对得起我胸前的红领巾呢?不能再想了，我一定要让。于是，我站起来，说：“爷爷，您来坐吧!”只见爷爷笑了笑，然后慢慢地坐下，并对我说：“真是好孩子!”我听了以后，心里也乐了，因为我做到了。

虽然我失去了一个供我休息的座位，但是，我却得到了表扬的话语和愉快的心情，这是多么快乐呀!

尊老爱幼是我们中华民族的传统美德，我们一定要让这种精神继续发扬光大!
