Last year, I went to Guilin for travel. On the train, I felt so bored. A

当得知xxx荣获x市xxx活动x等奖时，大家都会向获奖人投去羡慕或嫉妒的目光，但又有几人知道他们背后的艰辛，和一种不怕吃苦的精神和冲劲。甚至有人还会在背地里认为人家是“有关系”。这样的人是很难成功的。有人说：“学习是有秘诀的。”但是我认为，学得好就得吃苦，没有什么秘诀不秘诀的，不能靠投机取巧，正所谓：“学海无涯苦作舟。”

巴金曾说过：“目标，是人类迈向成功的动力源泉。”没有目标的人生就犹如行尸走肉，空有一身躯壳，只有拥有了目标，才拥有了灵魂，最终走向成功。

拥有目标，就不用再去选择是砍红松呢，还是砍杨树呢?拥有目标，你的人生也会因此意义非凡。

Oceans becoming more acidicThe worlds oceans are slowly getting more acidic, say scientists.The researchers from California say the change is taking place in response to higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.The lowering of the waters pH value is not great at the moment but could pose a serious threat to current marine life if it continues, they warn.Ken Caldeira and Michael Wickett, from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, report their concerns in the journal Nature.Increasing use of fossil fuels means more carbon dioxide is going into the air, and most of it will eventually be absorbed by seawater.

Once in the water, it reacts to form carbonic acid.Scientists believe that the oceans have already become slightly more acidic over the last century.But these researchers have tried to predict what will happen in the future by combining what we know about the history of the oceans with computer models of climate change."This level of acidity will get much more extreme in the future if we continue releasing CO2 into the atmosphere," said Dr Caldeira."And we predicted amounts of future acidity that exceed anything we saw over the last several hundred million years, apart from perhaps after rare catastrophic events such as asteroid impacts."If carbon dioxide release continues unabated, ocean pH could be reduced by as much as 0.77 units, the authors warn.It is not absolutely clear what that means for marine life, however.

Most organisms live near the surface, where the greatest pH change would be expected to occur, but deep-ocean lifeforms may be more sensitive to pH changes.Coral reefs and other organisms whose skeletons or shells contain calcium carbonate may be particularly affected, the team speculate. They could find it much more difficult to build these structures in water with a lower pH.In recent years some people have suggested deliberately storing carbon dioxide from power stations in the deep ocean as a way of curbing global warming.But Dr Caldeira said that such a strategy should now be re-considered."Previously, most experts had looked at ocean absorption of carbon dioxide as a good thing - because in releasing CO2 into the atmosphere we warm the planet; and when CO2 is absorbed by the ocean, it reduces the amount of greenhouse warming.

In my hometown, the air is polluted seriously. However, in recent years,

the pollution gets from bad to worse, because of the increasing number of

private cars. Especially during the rush hours, too many private vehicles move

slowly on narrow roads, emitting a large amount of waste gas. Moreover, the

poisonous gas sent by the nearby factories is also one of the main causes of

pollution. Therefore, it’s demanded that immediate and effective measures must

be taken to restrict private cars and public transportation must be developed to

the largest extent. Besides, we should use renewable and clean energy

recourses.

The people I respect the most is my father. He is a doctor. He always busy

with work. Since I can remember, he never spent a whole weekend to stay with me.

He goes to the hospital very early before I get up, and comes back home after I

sleep. But I doesn’t matter at all, he is hero to me. He devotes almost all the

time to his patients, many lives are saved. He always said, a man should have

dignity, integrity, honor, and most of all, be helpful to others. This affected

me deeply, so I work hard so that someday I could be the man like my father.

Things in the world are changing.

People are changing and every creature is changing. Changing is a neutral word. We can’t judge it is good or bad in general, because every coin has two sides. But sometimes we need to change, because it is good for us. Sometimes we will meet some difficult or uncomfortable situation. When we are not able to change it, we need to change ourselves. If both of us refuse to budge, the problem would not be solved. Sometimes we need to change our life attitude; sometimes we need to change our views of seeing things; sometimes we need to tolerant; sometimes we need to be strong.

Changing ourselves according to the specific situation is good for us.

"求求你了 可怜可怜我吧。我真的需要一些钱啊!我还有个妹妹等着我养呢!”

"哎呀!烦死了!找别人要不行啊!给给给给!”

“咣啷”一声结束了这场对话。

一场一个乞丐与一个看似比较有钱的行人的对话。

这种事情很常见，也许有的人会立即掏出钱来递给那个乞丐，也许有人会狠狠骂那个乞丐几句，又或许有人会在给完那个乞丐钱后一直想别人抱怨自己的不幸。

那为什么没有人亲切对那个乞丐说一句：朋友，你为什么不用想别人乞讨的力气去自食其力呢?是呀，为什么不去自食其力呢?天天被别人议论，被别人鄙视很好吗?我想不是吧。那为什么不想那些地摊上的老爷爷，老奶奶一样获取自己的的酬劳呢?

没钱?不可以借吗?

没经验?每个人都会有第一次的尝试，难道你想一直躲在角落去眼巴巴地看着别人吗?

没勇气?你想想那些老摊主，他们会不比你们轻松什么。

一个人不管做什么，只要是自食其力就有尊严，有骨气!与其成为社会的那一个个碎片，不如去自食其力，让自己过得跟有尊严!

而且，对于我们这些相对比较幸福的人来说，社会中的碎片是要我们大家用真心，用爱心去把它一一拾起，而不是低声下气，没有骨气地去乞求别人!这个社会的人不是没有爱心，要不然那些地震灾区的孩子就无人问津了，而是我们要把我们的爱心送给需要我们大家去帮助的人。

这个世界是为我们而存，我们也是为这个世界而生，我们一定要共同携手，拾起社会中的碎片。
