As a good learner， we should have good habits and ways of learning。

When memory began for me, my grandfather was past sixty-a great tall man

with thick hair becoming gray. He had black eyes and a straight nose which ended

Education background

In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology

(NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During

the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among

the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I

got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission

test.

At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5%

in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is

ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university.

Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of

Research experience and academic activity

When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to

narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and

Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It

is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled

a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This

was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and

experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research

我的家乡是在美丽的邵阳市邵东县一个乡村里，虽然我的家乡没有壮丽的山河，也没有名胜古迹，但是有一群勤劳朴素的人们，他们所有吃的都是自家种的，养的，可有一道菜是远近有名的，那就是“佘田桥豆腐”。

这一道“佘田桥豆腐”菜是我们那里最有特色的招牌菜，你们肯定会说不就是“豆腐吗，我都会搞，为什么我就没出名呢？这可不是一般的水豆腐，它采用的水是我们村里最甘甜的泉水浸泡出来的，做出来的豆腐香甜可口，经常吃这种豆腐的人，个个皮肤白里透红，身体棒棒。听说这豆腐还有一个故事呢！

传说，我们那个村里有一对夫妇，还有一个老人，他们以磨豆腐为生，为了生存，天天起早贪黑，有一天她的夫君因为劳累，离开人世，留下妻子和他母亲，她俩相依为命。早上，她去田里干活，老人在家磨豆腐，日复一日，一年过去了。

有一天，有一位神仙看见了她俩的不幸，就在蒸河点上一滴“神仙水”，感念她们婆媳情深，使这里的水格外清幽，因水质极佳，做出的豆腐格外洁白细嫩，以味道香甜鲜美而享有盛名。所以她们专门开了一家煮水豆腐店铺，生意也开始慢慢兴隆起来，这种做法是很有讲究的，一直沿袭至今，这就是我们美丽家乡餐桌上的美味佳肴，深受群众的喜爱。

啊！我爱家乡，更爱家乡的父老乡亲。
