In recent years ninny cities are faced with the problem of heavy traffic.

People have to waste more time on their way home or to work and even might be

involved in an acci dent. With the development of industry and population

expansion, this problem becomes more and more serious.

One solution is to lay down more roads. The solution has many advantages.

For ex ample, it can efficiently decrease the number of buses and trucks in many

main streets. But it will take up so much land that crowded cities become more

crowded. Another solu tion is to open up more bus lines. If more bus lines

should be opened up,the number of bicles and cars in the main streets would be

greatly decreased. But the disadvantage of this solution is that many people

wouldn’t feel so convenient os they used to.

In my opinion, the right solution to the problem is the combination of the

two, thatis, to lay down more roads in spacious areas and to open up more bus

lines in downtown.

Nowadays, smart phone has been part of our life. We can see people lowing

down their heads and playing smart phones all the time. When people are walking

on the street, the traffic regulations are no longer their first concern. It is

so dangerous for them to keep their attention on the phone. Dutch officers

figured out a new rule to let people realize the traffic lights. On the ground,

the traffic light can be seen. What a smart idea. When people are watching smart

phones, they can see the lights, too. At the same time, we need to think about

the problem that whether our life is controlled by the technology.

Honesty is long-lasting virtue of people all over the world. Likewise, it

is also one of the deeply-held values of the Chinese people. Some people believe

that in the market economy, honesty tends to be obsolete. In my opinion, honesty

will never be out of date no matter what the situation might be.

Firstly, honesty has been treasured and honest people have been respected

through history in all parts of the world. People everywhere would regarded

honesty as a virtue and hate a dishonesty person. Secondly, honesty is the basis

of interactions among people. People should treat each other sincerely and open

their hearts to each other. Only in this way can the relationship among the

people be natural. Thirdly, in the market economy, some people try to get more

money at the cost of honesty. To them, a best businessman is one who can cheat

most tactfully. Even in this kind of society, honesty is deeply valued by most

people.

We can see that not only in history, but also at the present day, honesty

so easily.

It seems like a silly question, anyone in sane would give a hand to the elderly who fell. But in China, this question is becoming tricky. Many news report that there are some old people not just fell, they do it on purpose. Usually, they walk on a crowdy street, and pretend to faint or just lay down on the ground, intend to accuse the one who comes to help as a perpetrator and blackmail him/her for the treatment fee. Many people have fell for that and had to pay as there is no witness to prove their innocence. As for these negative news, people is afraid to help those old people in need, that makes some of them who are in real trouble could not get help in time. I once asked one of my friends: “Why the old people turn bad? If you see one in the street, would you help?” He said: “It is not the old people turn bad, it is the bad people turn old.
