A lot of factories along the river always poured their waste water and rubbish straight into the river which made the river water polluted. In this way most of the fish in the river were killed. If the river water all over the country is polluted like this, no living things will exist in the water. Now more and more people have come to realize how serious this problem is. Our government is doing her best to take measures to fight against pollution. We expect that the water in every river will be made cleaner and cleaner before long.

One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. the polluted air does great harm to people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases and death. What is more, vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of modern cities.

Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect the forest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world.

With the development of industry and agriculture, cars make great noises and give off poisonous gas. Because of population expansion and overdevelopment, resources has become less and less. Trees on the hills have been cut down, and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers. The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to man’s existence.

We must face the situation that exists and take actions to solve our environmental problems. We hope that all these measures will be effective and bring back a healthful environment.

俗话说：开始是成功的一半。一个良好的开端，标志着你的信心和威力，如果在竞争中，一开始就发挥正常，威力巨大，让对方觉得，这个家伙不简单，士气就大大降低，可以说，开始就显得很强大，还是击败对手意志的武器，可见好的开头是多么重要。

如何让开头就保持良好的状态呢?要做到能快速适应新环境，就像跑步比赛，你还没反应过来，人家已经快到终点了，这就无法比赛，就是适应能力不强。在竞争场上，能快速适应新环境是很基本的一条，你连反应都来不及，还怎么去和人家竞争呢?所以，一个好的选手，首先有适应能力，战场上敌人冲过来了，你给长官说，我只能适应晚上跟敌人干仗，大白天的我不行，那还算个战士吗?你连基本的都没有，要和别人玩儿，瞎说。

是不是有点听不明白?我举个例子，一新篮球队员上场了，一看这场面，真紧张，没事，我得适应环境，对手是强大的某某某，不好对付，他的弱点是不会团结队员，心急气躁，好，把他赶一边儿去，单独对付，这不就解决了吗?看来，他已经具备了一个老练选手的基本功，已经成功了一半，他的秘诀是：不慌乱，镇定自若，不一见到大场面就吓得尿裤子，而是找到对手的弱点，慢慢击破，这就是成功的基础：能快速适应环境。

想当年，人家孔明，坐镇城中，城门大开，欢迎司马懿先生游玩，虽然没有一兵一将，但他具备适应能力，光这一条，司马懿能比他吗?胸中自有十万兵，司马懿，你来了也不打个招呼，我还没准备呢，不过没事，耍个空城计给你瞧瞧，嘿嘿，敢进来么?没有兵将的诸葛亮，硬是靠着基本功退了司马懿的大军。普天下的同志们，要想练好适应能力，以孔明为榜样吧。

总之，快速适应环境，是成功之路上的一大法宝，就是四个字：随机应变，同志们，记好这四个字，跟我来，走向成功!
